They did great work on the car. It looks perfect, like their work always does. Only complaint I have is that it took a month or so to get the car in for the repairs. Taking that long, I could easily have gone somewhere else which would have had a shorter wait time. I stayed with them because they are a State Farm approved facility.

I would certainly recommend CARSTAR Barret Collision, as I was referred to them from a mechanic in Abilene. Everyone who works there is professional and kind. Scott, was very helpful in clipping my bumper back in place. They really took care of me. Thank you Cherry and Scott!

They were very professional, kelp me completely updated. Everything was on time and the work was amazing. The vehicles look like brand new. The entire staff was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend them for any body work or hail damage.

We have always known of the excellent work performed here. We knew if the need ever arose we would use Barrett’s. The time finally happened when my 2021 Silverado was damaged by hail. We took our vehicle to them and was a very big mistake. We ended up having to pay 1270.00 out of pocket to fix their mistake. They even tried blaming us and our insurance company saying that if we choose a better insurance company we wouldn’t have to pay it . Be careful with this company they are money hungry and will lie to get what they want

The Ice Storm sent me into the ditch rollin my beloved truck. I was stranded in Abiline but live in Las Cruces. Barretts office mgr. (Cherry) adopted me and arranged having my truck transported to a tire store where my tires were replaced and a front end reallignment then delivered to their shop.Barret then replaced broken road lights an got my truck road ready. When I picked up the truck on Saturday the battery was dead so they got it charged and then when my engine wouldnt start they did repairs and got me up and running. They even paid the $700 towing bill and the $500 tire/alignment bill and billed my auto insurance without asking me to pay a cent. They jumped in on their day off and treated me like family to help me get headed home just in time to miss the Storm that would otherwise stranded me for over a week in the Ice. Better call Cherry, she is an Angel.

My truck was at Carstar Barrett for 3 months due to a sever hailstorm we had in our city. I am very satisfied with the body shop and the whole process from beginning to end with Carstar Barrett they were very professional and responsive, they kept me updated by text the whole process through. I am very satisfied with their customer service and the end results of my truck. I would definitely recommend and would use again in the future if needed!

Great experience! These things take a while, especially with extensive damage like mine but they kept me very informed, very friendly staff. When I had a minor issue after pick up, they made sure it was a priority to get it to my satisfaction!

Happy with the work that was done on my vehicle. Even when we discovered some other small damage they resubmitted claim and made everything look as good as new. Highly recommend and will use again. The folks over there are top notch and very helpful and friendly.

Rocky, Brenda, Scott and Butch were awesome and made us feel like we were their only customer. We got updates every Mon, Wed, & Fri and just made what could have been a difficult situation a whole lot easier. I will never go to different auto-body shop in Abilene again. These guys are top notch.

I have no issues with the work that was done, but I think took extremely to long. And didn’t do a very good job with the final inspection. Had issues with both vehicles after work was done. Miner things but should’ve been caught in final inspection.

I brought my vehicle in to get body work because of being rear ended from an accident it took Car Starr 18 days to complete. When I went to pick it up the wiper was not working, the car door indicator light was on even though the doors were closed and my doors would not lock with the key Fob. This was after the body work was done by them. I talked to a guy named Tyler who was really professional and I can see why he is head. He was patient and after I told him the things that were not working right he told me to leave the car and they would fix it. He found it was the wires that were cut and crossed in the accident. He fixed it and I am happy. Kudos to Car Starr correcting the problem!

Rocky and Tyler Barrette both wanted to blame me and my insurance company for a mistake they made . I had to pay over 1200 out of pocket when my deductible is only 500 . I have all the paperwork to show that it was there mistake that I had to pay for . Stay away from this place and also the workmanship is horrible I can provide pictures if needed

Cherry and Scott were Very Professional. They were both extremely nice and helpful during a stressful time. My car was actually totaled; therefore, no repairs were made to my car. Barrett Collision would be at the top of my list for any future collision repair.

They did an excellent job repairing a dent in the door of my brand new Jeep. Can’t even tell it was ever repaired! They were very easy and accommodating. I highly recommended them to anyone and would use them again if needed.

I had my driver-side mirror to my new Mustang replaced at Barretts. They got the vehicle in immediately, replaced it, and finished in no time. The service was exceptional and the employees super friendly! I had a spectacular experience! I heartily recommend this business. They are the model of customer service. Another place in town would not give me an estimate and said they could not tell me how long it would take since these new mirrors could be tricky and therefore, they could not provide an estimated completion time (even though they specialize on Fords). Barretts stated 60-90 minutes tops, probably less. They were finished in less than 40 minutes! Everything works great!They are the epitome of customer service and craftsmanship!Thank you,Ken

Took my car in for assessment and repair Friday June 19th and was told assessment would be complete by Monday June 22nd. The assessment was completed on Thursday June 25th and was declared as a total loss. They never broke down the parts to really see if repair was possible, and held the car in storage until Saturday, June 27th. The storage fee was 10 days at $65 per day - $650!Their estimate was $9,026.74 for repair and said it was more then the car was worth. KBB estimate of personal value was $11,000 to $12,000. Their bill forwarded to Chevy was $900 for storage, report and towing charges. That’s $900 less repair money for me!I had the car towed to Chevy Collision for a second option and they were willing to break down the car to be sure it wasn’t a total loss. Total cost of repair was estimated at $7000.

I hit an animal while driving to Austin from Lubbock, luckily my insurance towed my car here. The work they did on my car was amazing! My car looked brand new! Not only did they repair the collision damage, they offered to repair my hail damage as well. I had been on a waitlist in Lubbock for months to get my hail damage repaired, but Barrett’s got to work right away. Shout out to Joe and Cherry for helping me throughout the whole process. I dont know what the previous reviewer experienced...but I have always had great service from Barrett Collision...Just today I picked up my F-250 after a mesquite tree jumped out behind me while backing up...the entire bed was replaced. Not only does the paint and body work look better than new, but I am impressed with the detail work -i.e. the aux. fuel tank in the bed was correctly reinstalled, the bed tool box is correct, the gooseneck hitch is correct, the rear winch electrical connection is correct, etc..The attention to details is impressive. I was updated weekly, and was not expecting it to be finished for another week, yet I received a phone call that the truck was completed....very easy experience all around....took it in, then heard from insurance adjuster, then from Barrett about the progress, then from Barret about the completion..pay my deductible, endorse the insurance check and drive off - as I said at the beginning, I dont know what the other reviewer experienced, but my experience was EXCELLENT!

These people are freaking awesome! Went to safelite to have a new windshield put in well they pulled the old window out and went to place a new one in and they said they couldnt finish the job. They taped the old one back on and had told me I had to take it to a body shop. Well I had made phone calls and I got in contact with their neighbouring shop auto glass..they came to my house put a little primer on it some glue and boom. It worked. And reasonable. I recommend this local shop. Safelite is a rip off . in calling them Monday to get my money back. Thanks guys yall are awesome!

Please never take your vehicle to this place. I took my wrecked vehicle there to be fixed. A fairly simple fix of about 5,000.00 dollars. Well, while my wrecked vehicle was in their care, they caught the interior of the vehicle on fire due to doing some welding. It burned the inside completely up. It was totaled. There insurance company gave me some money for the ruined vehicle. But it was nowhere near enough to get another vehicle so I ended up having to go into debt all because of these crap heads. Now they have sued me to pay them 7 thousand dollars for parts that were never used for a vehicle never fixed. I mean you take your vehicle to a freaking collision center to be fixed. Not to be totaled by them. That vehicle had a lot of sentimental value as my dying grand mother had bought it for me. TRUST ME ------ DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

Dont ever take ur vehicle to this auto center . I had my car repaired through Pizzaro body shop needed some simple red rt and decals on my vehicle they not even they have bubbles and his cut on them were way off when I called to complain the guy whos name is Mike hung up on me told me it was because they werent his decals nor factory they arent professional I dont even give them one star but it wouldnt let me publish without any stars

Ive been going to Barrett for over 15 years. With three boys weve had our share dings and accidents. Barrett keeps getting better and better. This is the type of family company I will always support.

Customer service there was atrocious! It was absolutely ridiculous to deal with GEICO and Barrett. Wrong parts ordered, never compensated, took a week!! They would never call and give me an update. I had to call everyday for updates and finally the day my car was ready, i called at 5.15p and they said it was about ready and they close at 5.30p! Luckily they stayed open, pretty sure it was because they knew how mad their service was making me. I would not recommend Barrett or using GEICO at this location. STAY AWAY! If i could give it a lower mark, i would!
