Incident October 4, 201 between 5:30-6:00 PM at register 10 at the Kroger Butler Creek store 3330 North Cobb Parkway, Acworth, GA 30101, Checkout amount $63.14. I have been shopping at Kroger since August 2001. Over 20 years. So I can’t believe how I have been treated since I was the victim if an incident there on October 4, 2021. The cashier was checking the person out in front of me. When he bagged his ginger ale, the cap blew off and the ginger ale started spraying out of the bottle. The cashier aimed it away from himself and directly at me. It was like a hose spraying sticky ginger ale all over me, my shirt, my pants, my arms and hair, all over my groceries and on my brand new Coach bag and my Iphone 12 pro max in my grocery cart. I had just showered and done my hair to meet clients and just unwrapped the new bag to look nice for my clients. There i was soaked in sticky ginger ale and all they could say was “you can wash your hands in the bathroom” I couldn’t touch anything without feeling sticky. I spent an hour trying to speak with the manager but the manager ignored me. No incident report was written, even though i had damages. I left in tears. My rotisserie chicken was cold by the time i got home. I bought it because I was hungry and needed to eat before writing a contract for the clients i had just met with. I never got my contract written because i had to wash my clothes, take a shower, clean my phone, wipe my bag down, reheat my chicken, wipe sticky groceries as i touched them. The next day I called Kroger Corporate and they could care less. I called again and they still could care less. After 20 years if shopping at Kroger, I feel like no one cares about the damage I suffered in that store. If someone came on my property and one if my boys did this to them, I would have their clothes cleaned and replace their bag and be very apologetic. No human decency there. I am so upset. I have put up with their bagged lettuce being brown, their grape tomatoes being black inside, expired dairy, etc., I just go to a different store for lettuce but now that i know they could care less about me as a human being I can’t bring myself to go back. They don’t even want to see my receipt or look at the recording from the store. Even I as an individual wouldn’t even treat a stranger this way. I had purchased my new bag online on Tuesday September 28th, 6 days prior to incident. Bag was delivered 2 days prior, I had just unwrapped it for this showing. It was $125.24 with the discount but I dont know if I can replace it for that. Soda is corrosive and got into the emblem, stitches, zippers, everything. My phone still works but I spent a lot of time cleaning it and changed the screen protector. I stopped at the Kroger, hungry but tight on time so I purchased the chicken so I could eat it with a salad quick before writing my contract. It was cold by the time I got home and I never got my contract written that night. I cannot believe that no one cared that I was drenched with ginger ale in your store.
Deyson was a great help, will make this my primary kroger
I thought about going to buy my groceries to this specific store this time and have a pleasant experience but I got completely the opposite. I was ready to pay and the cashier told me it was closed already and did not give me any other options of what to do instead because there were no more cashiers available only the self checkout machines and one employee standing watching the customer checking out correctly. I honestly wouldnt mind to self checkout if I have had a few items only, but I bought a lot of food and it was not fair doing their job while they were standing there doing nothing. So some other customers were waiting confused standing with their carts also, waiting for a cashier or someone to assist them, but anybody seemed to help. I never saw a manager or anybody on charge of the store around. Finally, when I was about to leave my groceries there and go home, a lady told me she was going to assist us, but she didnt look very happy to do it. That was my experience at Kroger today. The store can not manage for itself so it would be great if Kroger would hire more people and also it wouldnt hurt if they receive a customer service training in the meantime.
Unfortunately this Kroger location has gone downhill. Understaffed, under stocked, dirty, outdated compared to newer Kroger locations. It is disappointing seeing the decline of this location in our area. Maybe time for a remodel. One positive is the staff is always friendly and the pharmacy is super.
The produce is usually bad/rotting. The bread/bakery items are typically stale and 1-2 days off expiring. The last two times Ive bought tenderloin from the meat department case, it was unedible - I believe both times I paid $20+/lb for old ribeye. So much of the food in this store is bad and I dont understand why. The only good thing about this place is *some* of the front end workers are nice. If you are doing bulk shopping for the week, I highly recommend driving an extra 10 minutes to the Kroger in Marietta or Dallas.
Worst Kroger ever! Deli terrible! Pharmacy employees have no customer experience! I work hard not to have to go there. ! Dirty, shelves can be bare. Produce is awful.
Theres a cell phone repair shop inside here, absolutely great work and reasonable price.
This is a nice Kroger. Always stocked. Friendly cashiers fresh deli items and produce. I enjoy visiting this location. Lines move rapidly.
Just had a pickup order. 2 out of like 5 items had to be replaced. She didnt let us look at the paper before loading up our stuff in the trunk. Then took off as soon as it was loaded. What if we dont want these items... ridiculous.
This Kroger is pretty good. Its just a regular Kroger and not one of the super nice Krogers, but it is still pretty good. Typically clean, great selections, and good pricing. No negative things to say from me.
Great store and very clean and organized easy to find things.. employees are very friendly and helpful. Lines at register are not too long. Overall great experience 👍 covid 19 friendly .My family and myself felt safe and will continue to shop here❤️
Great Kroger, not too big to be overwhelming, but not too small where it lacks certain goods. Has pretty much everything you could want.Edit: The deli section here STINKS, not literally, but the service is terrible, everything else is at least serviceable.
I got food poisoning from purchasing sausages from this location. The meat always look brown. I only get Juice or paper products from this location. Only if I’m in a hurry.
Weird set-up, creepy vibe...80s Kroger...Needs an update!
My wife had a very negative experience with the butcher this morning. My wife was trying to make a $50 butcher purchase, and the woman was extremely rude and did not want to serve her. She insisted my wife take from the frozen package selection, and not choose from the glass cabinet. My wife pushed, and got what she wanted, then as she continued shopping, she saw the butcher talking to other staff members, and pointing at her while shopping. Very unprofessional and rude. Plenty of other places to shop for food.
There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of mans fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call Kroger.
Our favorite grocery store, the staff is great and we always find bargains on what we need. The pharmacy staff is wonderful and Morgan & Andrew at the service desk always greet us with a smile!
The employees here are amazing! The prices at this location are far better than at any other location in the area. Milk is only 4 cents more than Aldi, same with bread. Ill gladly pay a couple extra cents to have EVERYTHING I need under one roof and have great staff who take time to get to know me, too.
The shelves arranged nicely. Sales. Sales. And more sales. Coupons all the time.
12/4/19 10:45LIZ LIZ LIZis This Krogers most valuable Associate. Her complete knowledge of the store coupled with Her friendly outgoing personality makes me want to shop this store exclusively just for the happenstance I might get to go through Her line. Thank You Kroger for Liz. Please take excellent care of Her.
Need to improve stocking levels on specials
The location. I can pay cellphone bill, ( T-mobile store)Return a package (UPS store),Get greek food.
Fair. Nds 2 b cleaned up. Its dirty. Management nds 2 b changed out. New meat nds 2 step up & ??????
This location is the #1 place I shop at and usually always have everything I am looking for. If they have deals but ran out they will give you a ticket to come back when its in stock even if its after the deal is over and you still get it for the sale price. Great place to shop.
SOooo not a fan of this kroger. Would drive out of my way to a different kroger for a full grocery trip. Only good for quick stops. I’ve gotten home with several expired items - yuck. Most frustrating thing.
Are out of products I like sometimes. Noodle Roni fettuccine Alfredo.
We shop here all the time. This Kroger is fantastic. The staff are helpful and friendly. Xavier and Larry are super nice. The produce is generally quite good, and the selections are also quite good. Would LOVE to see a Kroger Marketplace reach Acworth, but we are also very grateful for this Kroger, and for the efforts of those who manage it.
Much better pharmacy layout. Deli still needs work but the new fresh sandwich rolls are a plus. Just add another counter with fresh salads and choices like you have with your sister stores out west.
My favorite place to grocery shop. I am a preferred customer card carrier and my food cost are the lowest over any acceptable grocery store I would visit... Most of Krogers brand products are of the utmost quality and taste as good if not better than the competitors product.. Add in the savings in cost and its a win win situation for you... As good, if not better that cost much less than the leading competitorsUPDATEDThe place needs remodeling and they don’t stock the inventory the other stores do.
This was one of the most stressful shopping experiences of my life. Upon entering the store, it is clear how little they care about the dangers of a NATIONAL PANDEMIC. None of the carts were wiped or quarantined after use, and there were no wipes or hand sanitizer available to customers inside the store. Maybe 1 in 30 workers were wearing any level of PPE. There were no directions on the aisles, which led to piles of people (mostly unmasked, which is already incredibly dangerous) congregating in a single spot. Aisles and pathways were not sufficient to avoid people at the 6 feet that is suggested ANYWHERE in the store. The aisle that I chose to check out in had labels, but the customers were in no way following them (I was). The aisle directly next to mine opened up, leaving me PHYSICALLY TOUCHING the cashier in the aisle over (because once again, the aisles are so close together). None of the cashiers were wearing any sort of PPE, nor were they attempting to clean any spaces after customers touched or breathed on them. I had a 70+ man who approached after me who did not even attempt to adhere to the markings on the ground, and when I told him to back up, laughed at me. The cashier, of course, did nothing to correct the situation. At one point, it was necessary for me to bag my own groceries, while also trying to avoid everyone else (which was difficult, because no one was event attempting to social distance). As I was exiting, things were falling out of my cart. As I continued to try and correct the issue, a worker decided to get WITHIN 1 FOOT OF ME, waiting for me to finish. I indicated that Im just trying to get out of the store and out of the way, and he also, just laughed. While I understand you can do little to dictate the behavior of your customers, you CAN set better examples, train your staff better, and provide them and your customers with the needed tools to keep from spreading/contacting this deadly disease. If I get the virus, it will be a direct result of this store. No where else I have visited during this pandemic has BLATANTLY flaunted the risks and consequences as this store. Whomever is in charge of training and implementation of safety protocols should be ASHAMED.
Good location, extremely busy
Very well ran supermarket. The associates was very helpful to a handicap person. And I appreciated each time one of them asked if they could help me.
Dont come to this Kroger unless you like shopping where everything you need is out of stock and never reordered.
Definitely not up to the usual standards I see in a Kroger. We just happened to stop by this particular one. Since it was on our way home. There some items I came across that looked like they were just thrown on the shelves. We usually buy the large clear plastic case of 36 Kroger eggs, but all the the cartons had broken eggs. Also, they were oozing yokes all over shelf. Then when we finally reached the register to check out. My wife saw a package of bird seed in a bin of small bags of potato chips. When she picked it up. It happened have a large hole in it and at least a 1/3 of the bag fell on the floor. Well most likely avoid this Kroger for now on. Well stick to the ones were familiar with.
This Kroger has no cashier available before 7:00 am. Thus, this Kroger gives you the option of 1) ringing yourself up, or 2) leaving the cart at the registers. I chose option 2.@Kroger: You arent going to require me to do your job so you can save a few bucks. Ill just go to Publix.
This store adequately provides me with food, so its hard to rate it any lower. After all, this is an amazing, miraculous time to be alive. Speaking of miracles, Ive stopped praying that a bagger will be on staff in the small evening hours Im forced to squeeze in my shopping ever since they stopped being 24 hours. The last 5 times Ive been to this location, there has not. Ill use self-checkout when I have just a few items, but Im also inclined to resist automating away local jobs where possible. Failing to ever have a bagger is really forcing my hand though.
Great place for my food because their produces were always fresh .
Great staff and I dont think Ive ever had something I needed not be in stock ever. I dont count holiday rushes and fear hording events due to inclement weather. The staff is pretty much always very friendly. I like to read other reviews and some things to note. Someone took issue with Kroger not having cashiers before 7am so they took their business to publix. Well publix doesnt have cashiers before 7am either. They also arent going to have groceries for you either....because they arent open before 7am. Winner Kroger. As far as apple pay is concerned I cant comment on its functionality but I can tell you the reason Samsung pay works is because of Samsungs proprietary MST chip allows it to work naturally with most card readers without requiring businesses to make any changes. If apple pay doesnt work you can be mad that kroger hasnt forked over the cash to upgrade their card readers but they didnt have to for Samsung pay. It just worked right out the box. Also if you get mad at any store dont ditch your goods. That just makes the employees jobs harder. Its shameful.
Always have what I need in stock. Pharmacist is nice.
Clean! Great product variety.
Terry at Customer Service is the absolute best! Leon, a cashier however is a very rude man. Not sure how he is allowed to continue at his current position with how his attitude is towards customers, but I am hoping he wont be much longer. The management team there is great and the specials fly off the shelves. This is my favorite Kroger!
Great staff at this Kroger. Pharmacy is top notch, all the pharma staff are truly wonderful. Store is always well stocked and they are very customer centric.
We just moved within the area and this is our closest Kroger. I love Kroger! Buy not this one! Every time we go the cashiers are not very friendly. Even had one get ugly cause I asked her to not throw our food down the belt. Deli lady gave us an attitude because we arrived 30 minutes before closing. Oh and she let us verbally know how mad she was. And I am convinced Kroger does not teach people how to bag.
I enjoy the small size of this store. Always quick in an out. I tend to use self checkout. Most associates are genuine and sweet.
My meds was really foe pick up right after l finished grocery shopping.
This is my preferred Kroger of the 3 near me. Despite the difficulty getting in and out of the shopping center to head home, they offer a lot of grocery items not available at the other Kroger locations near me. The bulk food options are great, as well as the premade bulk items available in the organic section. Large produce area. A good number of self check out lanes, and they are very prompt if you need assistance over there compared to some other locations.
This is an old Kroger that was updated years ago. Compared to other Krogers its not very good. Store could be cleaner. Produce is hit and miss. Meat is pretty basic but lacking in quality and quantity. Staff can be kinda grumpy. But if you just need canned goods and check the dates, itll work. Weve lived here 24 years, so we know.
My favorite store! Good selection of produce, meats. The prices are the best!
Kroger looks like a cluttered mess. I prefer Whole Foods or Publix.
The produce is good, bakery is awesome and they have a small, but decent wine selection.
This store is always clean and well put together. The staff is great. Kroger is really a place for high quality low cost groceries.
THIS store Manager I Don’t No Her Name But She Talk to Very Bad with me I Don’t Like And she. just Saying Don’t Come Back This Store Again And I think She Never No Ro Take Care of Custmer I Alredy Talk Customer Care
Fast and courteous as always. Pharmacy.very kind private and accurateLove those $2.00 bonus coupons. :)
I REALLY enjoy shopping at Kroger. One of my favorite stores. THANKS
I wanted to make a quick stop for a bag of rotisserie chicken. It took about 5 minutes to get in and out of the store because of my indecisiveness and lolly gagging.. With lazor focus I couldve done it in 3. The chicken was ready and waiting for me, when I got there; though, I didnt order it. It was about six bucks for the whole bird. Also, I heard it was fall-off-the-bone, cooked to perfection, and deliciously succulent. However, I wouldnt know since, between my husband and toddler, the carcus was sucked clean before we made it home.
LOVE this store! They ALWAYS make it right from my first visit when I moved to the neighborhood in 1998 to the present. Andrew & most all of the staff know me by name, are always kind & helpful...what more could you ask for?
Clean, easy to move around, fresh vegetables at reasonable prices... Sale items often are good bargain
The pharmacy staff is very helpful at explaining about medication. I have not had a bad experience at the store.
Large selection of fruit and vegetables, groceries, greeting cards, good selection of take out food. Banking and customer services. I always find everything I need. Plenty of parking.
Kroger is a great store and you also get great deals thats my review god blessed you😃👍
Was fine. Its a Sunday, so a lot of items werent in stock. Chose others but overall, its Kroger
The store stays very dirty and the costumer service is terrible. The produce isn’t very well kept up with and who knows when the last time someone cleaned those bathrooms. I had to start shopping at ingles instead. Over all a very negative experience. I never write reviews but this place was so trashy I had to leave a review.
Not a bad store, but room for improvement. Often out of stock. Produce could be better.
Just stopped to buy some gas all was good
This is my GO-TO grocery store. It is always nice and clean. They recently renovated it and made the produce area look so much nicer. I will always use this Kroger for my shopping needs :)
A worker by the name of Andrew was very RACIST and i dont think that people who shop at Kroger that are a different race would feel safe because that is very rude to all humanity.
This Krogers in Cartersville Georgia is probably the best Krogers Ive ever been to and it has everything from fresh-made food to a drinking bar grate cheese bar especially the people at the drinking bar after the first time youre there youre more like a family member than a customer theyre super friendly but make sure that youre responsible in your drinking and youre safe when you leave and so often places dont care they just want you to drink and get your money if the people here at the Kroger drinking bar make sure that youre safe they keep up with what you drink and how much so you get to go home safe even if they have to hurt your feelings because cut you off.
Store is clean, prices are comparable. Just make sure you check expiration dates, especially in the health food section. Love that I can use fuel points and save money on gas!
Very bright, clean Kroger with surprisingly robust health food options including items sold in bulk. Nicest Kroger that Ive been to.
This Kroger is located near my home, so I go here often enough. Its somewhat crowded, in the way it is arranged, inside. Prices are somewhat high, too. I prefer Wal-Mart and Publix.
A well stocked store with friendly employees. This Kroger has a pharmacy, a small natural food section, and a Kroger fuel station. It is one of the older stores and could use some remodeling.
Love Kroger! My go-to grocery store with great selection, fantastic prices and wonderful employees!
Very nice Kroger. Clean store with a good staff. Pleasant shopping experience!
Could use an update
Great detection of organic produce. And great customer service!
Very convenient location with plenty of parking. All associates are eager to help.
Great shopping experience. Definitely more enjoyable than other locations in the area.
I loved the Kroger location in Woodstock, but this one is pretty ghetto. Very old store that needs updating.
Not a great Kroger.... nothing was in stock not great choices for alternates. Produce section wasnt great either not great color on fruits or tomatoes. Some staff was super friendly.
Family like atmosphere and good prices! Andrew & Al are great managers!
One of my favorite places to shop for groceries! Always super kind employees that are always willing to help you out!
I love Kroger only because their produce is always fresh and they have an amazing customer service.
Higher than walmart & ALDI in different selections. WALMART & ALDI are superior in most areas, pricing for sure!
Staff always pleasant....store mgr on Friday memorial day weekend was even help bag...been in supper market business for over 25 yrs nice to see some old school customer service by all staff!!! My new supper market just moved from NY
GET. APPLE. PAY. - you have CrapSung Pay! Loosing customers who don’t use Samsung! I personally just legs bags at the check-out so, thanks for that!
Great place to make puns. I enjoy annoying friends and family with all the puns I can make here
Prices are always good but the staff is amazing. very friendly and helpful shopping here is always a pleasure
Ok. Have had a few issues with tags saying one price but at checkout it rings up more. The attendant then has to run all over the store locate the item(s) to confirm. At this point the line is being held up. Just not a pleasant experience especially when youre in a rush. Once upon a time theyd give you the item for free (under $10) if that happened but none of the associates seem to know about this.
A great place to save money, Always having specials each week helpful staff makes your shopping experience just that an experience unlike some stores this turns into an adventure when you have no help in locating what you need
I usually always find what I need and some deals too!
I really like this location. Great meat department & the staff is always very friendly.
The store was remodeled several years a go and I really like it much better now.
Although this Kroger feels dated (its getting remodeled right now), the service here is friendly. I spend most of my time with the butchers who are always ready to help and offer tips. One huge downside is no more fresh ground beef. Its all shipped in pre-ground. 😔The organic section is quite large. We can get all our food organic here at much lower prices than whole foods.Lastly they are open 24/7.This is not a fancy Kroger like the one at the Alpharetta Silos or the new one in Woodstock on 140 so you wont see any fancy cheeses or sausages and the prepared food is severely lacking.Still for just plain healthy food shopping try this one out. There is also a gas station here.
For being the first time at Kroger I love it things are very fresh n the people are friendly
All good! Corretta was very cordial and helpful.. Tony
It would be nice if this kroger could stop running out of produce and have produce you buy not rot within days
Love this store. Always stocked, clean and helpful!!
Good in a pinch good produce section but not the best Kroger Ive been in
I know that they are always busy and efficient.
