Id like to take a minute to explain our experience with Regency Garages. When we first decided we wanted to build a garage, we met with several companies before contacting Regency. The experience with these companies was less than desirable. It felt like they wanted to build only a simple box style garage and really did a horrible job explaining the process and options. When Terry from Regency came out to meet with us, we knew right away this was the company we had been looking for. She did a great job walking us through sizes, designs, process, and pricing. We learned so much from that fist visit and felt very comfortable dealing with her. We then began the process and this is where Regency really shines. As you can imagine, questions can arise. There was not a phone call or e-mail that Regency did not get back to me quickly on. Their communication is second to none. The concrete and build process was exceptional. Regency handled all permits and we passed all inspections easily. This is a company you should feel comfortable dealing with. I would be more than happy to discuss our experience further with any one interested. Thank you Regency for a job well done. I finally have the garage I always wanted. And it looks like my son and his friend have also turned the 2nd floor into a clubhouse (see pics). Many thanks!

We shopped for a garage contractor in Chicago and are very happy that we chose Regency. From the initial meeting with owner, Terry, to the final electrical installation, each step of the project was completed on time, with professional builders, and high-end materials. Most importantly, the quotation identified exacting elements of the design and detailed the construction process. Terry was excellent in making suggestions relative to construction elements, design considerations and offering options that suited our property. Communication throughout the project was excellent. I received a recommendation for Regency Garages from a co-worker and could not be happier with the professionalism and quality of work from start to finish. Terry was great helping us decide what was best for our property and design the garage. The office staff was friendly and responded right away when we had questions. They made the whole process very easy and stress free. In the end we got a beautiful, sturdy garage. The concrete work was well done with a high quality sealant applied. We had a great experience with Regency - they know their stuff and have excellent folks who get the job done. We had a real challenge with some utilities and although it took a long time to break ground, we had our final inspection and everything passed with zero issues. Looking forward to showing off our new structure and sharing our experience with others.

Regency Garage provided us the best value and product!! We had several challenges in order to obtain our building permit, Terri and Gosha walked us through the process and were a great help to!! We had several estimates Regency wasn’t the lowest nor the highest, the were the best in my opinion. You always want to be informed about your project and Regerency did that every step of the way. I highly recommend Regency if you want a quality garage at a fair price!!!

Regency was the best bid and had the best customer service of the different companies I contacted. They were always responsive to questions and the work was quick!

I was reading some reviews and unfortunately I did not have the same experience like them and this is why I am writing a review because now a days we rely so much on reviews.The process of signing the contract was quick and easy of course. After that, we had to wait for a couple of months for the permits. I am not here to talk about the time or permits I am here to talk about the small details that sometimes we as the costumers are not aware of it.First, we always wanted a 2 car garage with the hope of having some extra space for storage. When we mentioned 2 car garage that is what Richard focused on and he never gave us the option of 2.5 car garage to have some extra space in it. Secondly, I asked Richard one day that we were looking on the lot I want the garage to stretch up to here and he said, until here it is 22 feet and I said, It is fine that is what I want. However, the day the contract was signed by my husband he wrote down 18x20 and that is it, and he did not write down what I wanted, and of course, it is what is signed what counts.Secondly, he removed extra concrete of what I had on the previous one and left the space only soil, now I have to hire someone to place concrete again.Also, he never mentioned that he does not put the gutters on. They finished the garage and left without the gutters when we asked him, He said, oh I do not do that. Why he did not explain us before signing the contract; we had to hire another company to put the gutters and of course it costs extra money.Moreover, the fence was removed for the new construction, but never put back in place. When we try to reach them after the work was done they never answered the phone. They only answered when it is money related. And lastly, they only left one key for the access door and I called many times, left voice mails looking for the second key and they never returned my call nor explained why they keep the second key.Personally, I would never recommend this company to anybody because of the bad experience I had.

I had a two car garage built on a rehab investment that I am doing in Villa Park. I was impressed on how quickly these got the job done. The day after permit was ready, they had dug the foundation and poured the concrete. After a week of settling and village approval, the framing, the roof, siding, door and opener was completed in 1 day. The final step was the electrician. The electrician is a third party from Regency who is set to come out next week. I will definitely hire these guys again on the next project if needed. The customer service at the office was also outstanding!

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:The owner reimbursed the additional fees incurred a few months after the work was completed.Original comments:I liked the owner when he did his sales presentation. His office staff and crew was nice. The concrete work and the garage looked perfect. BUT I am honest with my review so I will also state that the owner striked me as an honest man that took pride on his word, he told us of the extra charges the competition hid on their contracts and he didnt. He also said he was the owner so he would back his word not like bigger companies where u deal with sales guys. BOTTOM LINE, there WERE EXTRA CHARGES that he specifically used as the example of what he would not do, but he included in fine print and I like an idiot did not notice when I signed with him. When I called him to quote him his answer was you signed the Contract, I would never say that. SO BEWARE OF his friendly face and READ everything. About the turnaround time I have to say that I signed on May 18, it took them 3 weeks to summit the permit and now July 29 (well over 10 weeks they are just finishing up with electrical. I understand they are busy, maybe thats a good sign BUT know that there is a lot of waiting and DO NOT TRUST his word. READ every inch on what you sign. It was hard not to rate them less for this deception but they did a good job so Ill give them 3 stars.

Regency built a beautiful 2 story garage for us. They were always on time, came back to fix anything that was slightly off. Their customer services and attention to detail was great.

Excellent service and great design ideas. Your crew did a great job on our garage addition and they sure seems liked they knew what they were doing! :). We were very pleased with the final product and highly recommend Regency Garages.

I havent use this company yet but Im so impressed with these reviews I will be having a 2 car garage two stories built with them so I look forward to starting my project in the near future
