Hamburger was fricking good. One of the best i have ever had in my life. Sitting area is literally on the street and its a small area. Good to grab and go or just eat it fast. Definitely a delicious burger.

A bit overrated place in my opinion. Hummus is not flavorful at all, the only taste it has is sour, no tahini, no spices. Lamb wrap undoubtedly has very well cooked fatty and soft meat but that’s it. It lacks fresh juicy vegetables and lettuce is not enough. Service is not nice or welcoming at all

This place is my favorite in Kadıköy area! The food is beyond good and affortable. Service is also fast. I usually get kuzu dürüm or burger with a custom salad they prepare for the say. One of the most consistent places I have ever been, cudos!

I had the lamb wrap and it was soooo delicious. The meat was tender and so tasty! I liked that we were able to sit outside so we could feel the atmosphere of Kadikoy but were kept warm under the heaters.

We didn’t get a chance to try the food, but stopped by to get some iced tea. It was the best we’ve ever had, we had to go back for seconds. The staff were consistently friendly both visits.

Thanks to a local Ive been recommended to try their food and it was not disappointing at all!The menu is simple based on wraps and burgers mainly, so its easy to choose and to focus on the quality and the good taste of what they are making!Theres the possibility to sit outside and then price is very convenient!You should also try the traditional drink with yogurt (unfortunately I cant remember the name)

Outstanding small restaurant, simple sandwiches done to perfection. Friendly staff. The menu has 5 pita reps, burger and two deserts. The burger is served over wonderful burnt eggplant mayonnaise and the reps are done with your selected protein and fresh vegetables. Don’t skip the home made ice tea !

One of the best quick meals we had in 3 weeks of traveling through Turkey. The grilled meat in flatbread is delicious. It’s an updated take take on ‘durum’ and it works. Super friendly, clean with great music playing in background. As a foodie tourist this is a must.

Tasty food a lot of meat. Ayran homemade and very tasty, definitely recommend. Serve was quite quick. Try their salad - for me it was something new . Be careful with lemonade, it tastes like lemon fresh juice 😉

Juicy and great tasting burgers! I am a huge fan of burgers and everywhere I go I try to find good burgers and this was the best place I could find in Istanbul! I very much enjoyed the juicyness of the burger and the fact that thert cooked it exactly how I requested them to cook it. I can highly recommend this place for their burgers and their home made ice teas

Okay they have an very tasty burger but I wish they had ketchup or mayo sauce for the burger. Tho sriracha sauce is sometimes sufficient. You should definitely eat here

Soooo good! Although they have a few choices, their menu is so delicious and creative at the same time. A place where you can finally find real tasty hummus in Istanbul. The wraps are amazing. I’ve tried the lamb and the vegetarian, yummy! And salads also!Outdoor seating. Bare in mind that this place is crowded most of the time. Its in a very cool area in Kadikoy, one street from Rexx Cinema. The place is Dog-friendly.

Wow.. a friend recommended this place as one of the must eat places in Kadikoy. I go the kuzu kebab, home Made ayran in a jar and the salad of the day - simply amazing! The owners have a restaurant as well and decided to give their hand a go at street food. Price is good, small simple menu and vegetarian friendly. Was told the humanoid plate is good - go go go!!

I tried all of the wraps and enjoyed all of them very much. Lamb was relatively the least yummy one, yet is still very good. Sucuk and beef are especially very good. However, my only disappointment is about the meat weight and lack of french fries. Meat feels like its less than 120gr and they dont make fries. I gotta give them that their ayran is one of the best home made ayran i have ever drunk. Overall, i would definitely recommend it despite being crowded almost all the time.

Traditional food with a modern twist. Loved the vegetarian dürüm! It had asparagus in it and was delicious eventhou the filling wasnt that much. The have self made ice tea which wasnt too sweet but also wasnt really my taste. The sütlaç was the bomb! Its not traditional but its delicious and finally something original!

Absolutely amazing! You should definitely eat here! We had the hummus, salad, lamb wrap, and the chicken. I have celiac and they did the chicken as a plate without the pita so it was gluten free. The chicken and the hummus were our favorites, definitely better than the lamb. So good!

Best street food in the city

Mostly wraps. Nice veggie option: mainly artichoke hearts with grilled onions and guacamole, and a tasty dressing. Much better than the usual grilled vegetables wrap.

After so much hype I was disappointed with the food - we got the lamb burger and lamb wrap - recommended as their most popular items. Both were ok, very salty, and nothing special. Definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Been meaning to check this place out for a while. Really buzzing little joint, full of locals. One of the best burgers I’ve had in kadikoy. Friendly waitress noticed me trying to google translate the menu and kindly stepped in to help me out. I’ll be back and will try the wraps next time as they seemed even more popular than the burgers.

Asked for a menu to take to the street as they were filming inside (commercial?). They had no menu only one Ipad that all customers ordered from (the dishs price and picture). The problem was, nobody knew how to work it so the ipad was useless. So the a guy started reading turkey words off a chalkboard which was no help at all; we know English/ Spanish only. We left. The whole thing was a mess.

When in Istanbul, be sure to a tasteful stop in Basta Street Food Bar. Excellent food in a friendly environment. Its a must!

Highly desappointed by this very well noted restaurant.The menu seemed promising as we tried the red lentil - orange soup, the beef wrap and an outstanding ice tea.The stake taken on the taste was totally off-mark for the dishes.Soup had too many flavors : nuts, melted butter, anis, and croutons. The orange was totally missing. Hard to confirm that this dish is a people pleaser.As for the wrap.... Componed by only salad, pickles, red cabagge and mustard, it felt absolutly flat in terms of taste and texture. The combination of the ingredients seems like an attempt to recreate another dish, and although it could be an interesting stake on this very simple dish, it just feels wrong.An interesting add-on could had been pomegranate or the classic parsley-tomato-lemon that is a must have for such a strong taste to balance the overall dish and add a bit of crunchiness.

Ok, became popular over time rightly, hoping for maintaning the same quality. As a side dish hummus is different taste from Middle East and Mediterranean cuisine but you can also find in any Kebab Rest. If you like lamb, experience this different concept.

Great experience. Very nice atmosphere and design. The lamb, beef, and sucuk wraps were the best. The chicken wrap was lacking is flavor compared to the others. The Basta iced tea was also very tasty. 10/10 would recommend this place.

One of the chefs who I know from one of the best restaurants in Turkey called Nicole, opened this street food corner and serves Michelin level wraps, humus, salads and sweets with high quality ingredients and way above the average cooking skills. Must try.

The worst wrap Ive ever had. The meat pieces were huge are the wrap was falling apart. It was cold inside. I had an impression it was a leftover from yesterday. They did not cook the meat for our shawerma that day. After us came a customer and ordered a wrap. They started to cook in front of her. They did not for us. Also, there is no WC. At 12:00 pm they only start to open and not entirely ready for customers.

Food is undisputedly good, I give it, but the waiting line can be long and the worst of all is the waiters/owners dont follow who is further up in the line. I missed my place twice and had no sympathy for it. I still like the food but go there less often just for that. Oh and dont get the sucuk wrap, other stuff is really good though including their own homemade lemonade.
