I had not been to Numero Uno for many years, none on the Central Coast. We drove to this location to fulfill my craving. So glad we did. The place is small, almost missed it but the food and staff were great. Sami Jo was awesome, a new friend. They have vegetarian and vegan choices. I had deep dish pepperoni. Worth the drive from Grover Beach. Thanks for a good meal.

It was a quick friendly service ..the Pizza medium size I ordered came in 20 minutes time and it was delicious slice after slice fresh ingredients and the melting cheese served hot..I hadnt visited Numero Uno in a long time almost 30 years and it was a unplanned stop at this location and I loved it ..nothing has changed the service the food was excellent..

Numero Uno, like dessert pizza 🍕 in your mouth. My mouth waters every time I think about it. Classic deep dish pizza. Their moto “One Bite and We Gotcha!” is true. Excellent customer service. Pepsi products and beer 🍺 on tap too. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building and a few in the front. Very conveniently located off the freeway for a quick bite. Locations are far and in between. Priced perfectly and they also offer slices, sub-sandwiches along with pasta and salad 🥗 🍝.

WowSimply amazing pizza. Why do I always forget about his place? When you want a really good pizza with quality ingredients this is it. We had family over and when I said let’s get pizza everyone groaned. I said let’s do Numero Uno. What? Who? Is this 1980’s pizza. The deep dish crust is amazing, not doughy or chewy like BJ’s but a light buttery crust with hints of garlic. The cheese, quality, meats quality. How do you know? Look for the puddles of oil on your pizza. It’s not there cause it’s good stuff.Pro Tip: Quit procrastinating, order. You can’t go wrong.

We had dinner at Numero Uno Pizza and loved it! We ordered a medium house salad and a vegetarian chicago-style pizza. The salad was fresh and the house-made Italian dressing was flavorful. We ordered the dressing on the side. The pizza was thick and the bottom was crusty. Delicious! The crust had a hint of sweetness that could have been a bit less prominent. The toppings of black olives, green pepper, red onion and mushrooms were tender, but not mushy. The sauce was balanced and tangy. Unos also serves thin New York style crust, which Im sure is delicious, since two other parties ordered it while we were there.Unos has happy hour draft beers for $3 on weeknights from 5 -7 PM, but only on Bud and Bud Light. They also serve a draft IPA, Stella Artois, and a California micro-brew whose name escapes me.Although we saw the great reviews and high ratings on both Google and Yelp, we were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our meal at Unos. I wouldnt say this is a romantic place, nor does it have great buzz or ambiance, but if youre looking for great Chicago style pizza (or New York thin-to-win), look no further!

I had a craving for a deep dish pizza i ordered a large deluxe deep dish pie, it was fantastic the crust was thick and light with a slight sweet taste the toppings were mile high i was super hungry but could only finish 2 1/2 slices. We ordered an antipasto salad and it was perfect also. And we also ordered garlic knots also super yummy Cant wait to come back here!

My girlfriend and I dined here last Friday night and it was a wonderful experience. Not only was the pizza amazing but the staff was very accommodating at seating us outside and providing excellent service!

I visit this place a lot since I work nearby. I love how the service is always fantastic and they keep the place neat consistently. Pricing is affordable and they serve generous portions.

Staff was friendly and service was fast. Pizza toppings were plentiful and appeared fresh. Unfortunately flavors were overwhelmed by the yeasty taste of the deep dish crust taking this pizza from something that could be special to just average.

I was really hoping to get some Chicago styled pizza. But unfortunately, I was served thick crust with lots of cheese and hardly any sauce. Guess this means, hopping a plane or having Giordanos ship. Its not totally their fault. I find that anywhere outside of Chicago, they localize the way they make it to fit the taste buds of the locals. In CA, they just arent sauce people. *sigh* I will say that the service was good and Id go back for some thin crust.

Ordered this mistakenly thinking it was the chain Unos from Chicago and the east coast. when it came and I realized my mistake and was so disappointed. Honestly the worst excuse for pizza Ive ever had. Usually even bad pizza youre like ok well its still pizza... Not this. On my second slice as I write this and dont even think I want to bother. Might just toss it and eat ramen or something.

I stopped in with a friend because we were in the area. First off, the service was outstanding. Very friendly and suggested their deep dish pizza. One of the best pizzas Ive ever tried, and this will become a regular place I visit from now on!

A buddy of mine gave this place some high praise. So much so that he was sad my first visit was w/o him. But thats alright. I went back two days later. With my friend this time.The pizza are outstanding! They are cooked in a brick over style with someone the pizzas with a paddle. There is also some flavored tea that is quite good. I am fond of the berry lemonade. Their location in Mueller is a small. That is my only complaint. So it can get crowded before you know it. But good for MOD. I want them to stick around.

This pizza was AMAZING!! My husband and I travel a lot and we always stop at local pizza spots to grub and this place blew our mind it was so flavorful crispy and non greasy. Their sauce tasted almost smokey I dont know but I cant wait till we come back out to this area again so we can stop in 😊

Traveling through the area and stopped for a slice. this place hit the spot. my wife and I got a slice each and shared a half antiposta salad, 16 bucks and we are both full and satisfied. service was pleasant and restaurant was very clean. if I lived in the area this would be my new pizza spot.

The Numero Uno Pizza chain was started by a man and his wife. The story was that they took a year or two to apprentice a number of pizza joints learning the trade. Then they developed their own secret lrecipe for Chicago style deep dish pizza dough.It is richer and sweeter than others. I first experienced Numero Uno Pizza when they opened a restaurant in Orange County. It was not the cheapest pizza around but had the finest fresh ingredients. I was pleased to find a Numero Uno location in Ventura when we moved to the county from the OC. Unfortunately most of the locations are now closed and some of the menu items like the ministrone soup are no longer available. This location serves the original recipes that is just as delicious as experienced on my first visit when the chain was new and the service is better. It is worth a drive to try this place. The anti-pasto salad, house dressing and lasagne are a treat. The lunch specials are a bargain. There is another store in Simi Valley but it does not compare to this tiny take out with a few tables located in the Wizzins Center in Agoura Hills. Someday if I can break my addiction to the Hawaiian pizza done extra crispy I am going to try more menu items.

Tried this place a few times. Never been extremely impressed. Sure, their staff is nice but the pizza overall is bland and boring. Tried it for the last time a couple days ago and got a really bad stomach ache. Thought it might’ve been something else I ate that day so I saved the leftovers for the next day. Ate those and had another really bad stomach ache. Not a fan, I gave this place it’s chances 👎🏻

Best pizza in the Conejo Valley area. The crust is slightly sweet, like there is honey or sugar in it. The deep dish pizza is thick, fluffy, and doughy. Nothing compares to Numero Uno!

Surprised they stay in business. Ordered for delivery, they said 45 minutes. I asked how long if I pick it up, they said 20 minutes. I told them I will pick it up. Got there @20 minutes they said it would be right out which was a lie. The pizza wasnt ready for another 25 minutes!! They kept making excuses as I asked what was going on... lame service.

This number one place besides toppers is super good this classic recipe is just amazing the bread is just so good and the cheese with the chunks of tomato are great but some people dont like chunks of tomato and like just the sauce bet hey u can just take it out like nothing so nothing bad for me but if your hungry and your near here u should really stop here its worth it

I am a fan of Numero Uno pizza. I even worked at one for 1 1/2 years. I have been coming to this particular establishment for probably 10 years and this is the 1st time I got a horrible pizza. I dont know if it changed owners or what, but I ordered an individual with mushrooms. When I got it back to the office the topping on the pizza was stuck to the lid of the cardboard, the cheese was globbed to the middle center 1/2 of the pizza and the crust was severely under cooked. I will give it one more try to see if it was an off day, but it was horrible. Hope it was just an off day.
