Excellent bagels and great service. I get the #4 breakfast bagel - egg, choice of meat, and choice of cheese (pepper jack). The food is great, the staff super friendly and there is a nice shaded seating area right outside. My favorite bagel place.

Bagels always taste good, coffee is good if you’re wanting a basic cup, but I had a giant hair in my nova lox! Was smushed right on the tomato and hanging out of it- gross! Everyone working had dark hair except one employee. She seemed flustered when she kept asking people what was on their order and asked me what other sandwich I had aside from what I ordered (only had one sandwich). Start with keeping all your hair pulled back, including the little side bits, and breath. I’ve never had any issue here so that’s why it’s 3 stars.

To be clear, this is not the place to come for your hipster bagel fix (pink sea salt, gluten free flour, wood fired, ny style, blah blah blah). Just good, simple comfort food. Very family friendly.

Very quick service, great coffee and delicious bagels. Their sandwiches cater to every dietary need, not sure if they have a gluten free option but they have EXTENSIVE CHOICES! I appreciate they have a breakfast sandwich without cheese as a menu item. This place is a weekend must and a weekday reliable option.

Love this bagel cafe! Pesto bagel is my favorite! Lightly toasted with cream cheese and tomato- YUM! The Dutch crunch roll sandwiches are just as delicious! And if youre into hot cocoa- they make the best in town!

Amazing sandwiches

Not one of my faves. It smells overwhelmingly of onion powder. The Croissants are oversized and greasy. The owner/salesperson looks disappointed if you dont give him a tip for simply buying a bagel at the counter to go. Nothing here for me. The Marketplace has better places.

This place doesnt even deserve one star. I came in and ordered two beagles tosted with cream cheese. The two people who were behind me both got their orders before me. To find out once i got home that they gave my order to one of them and i had theirs. I drove all the way back to get my order corrected. The lady asked me twice what kind of beagle i wanted which was egg. She then proceeded to make Asiago beagles. When she was ablot to hand me the order i said these are egg beagles correct. Thats when she realized she had made the wrong ones. To make it even better she then informs me they arr out off egg. They offed no solutions to the problem. This place is poorly managedand there are several beagle places in alameda which offer superior service and products.

Bagel Street is the perfect place to grab a quick bagel for a good price. I highly recommend the veggie Felix on pumpernickel. :)

This place is a refreshing change from Starbucks. They offer great bagels and plenty of seating. The beverage selection is also much better

Went and ordered a chicken salad and found a black bug in it, absolutely disgusting. Manager Brandon chen who says he is the owner acted like it was no big deal, like it happens all the time. Will never return and will make sure no one I know goes back either

There’s nothing better than a carb loaded breakfast before going on a hike and a carb loaded lunch for you to take on a hike. We got a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese and sausage and it was alright. It was kind of bland, but the bagel was pretty good. I also got a CA turkey and bacon bagel sandwich for lunch with all the veggies. That was pretty good. It had good flavors and was really filling. If you’re not eating right away, be careful of the liquids from the veggies. It will get all over your backpack.Overall, this is a good place to get a filling meal and the bagels are good.

Came here for the first time one morning as they are right down the street from me. Sadly, I will not be back. I wanted to make this my bagel spot given its proximity to me, but it was not to be. The bagel left a lot to be desired. Im not sure if it wasnt toasted long enough, but my bagel eggwich was rubbery and the microwaved eggs were bland with a very mushy texture. I did however like their Columbian Roast coffee.

If youre ever in South Shore or Alameda in general and looking for a quick, healthy bite to eat, youll find it here. Skip Five Guys and McDonalds, and save your guts the work. Skip Panera and Starbucks, and support Alamedians. Is that a word? I dont know.Like previously stated, the prices are fair, the food is fresh and delicious (and much healthier than traditional fast food), and the workers are friendly and kind.
