What can I say?This shop is the Best.I brought in my transmission (out of the car) for a rebuild and it was done in a timely manner due to how busy they were.They supplied the necessary items and instructions of what to do when I install it.The transmission shifts flawlessly and works great. My car mechanic recommended United Transmission (as he doesnt do transmissions himself). Larry of United Transmission could not have been nicer or more honest and straight forward. Within 45 min of calling Larry, he and I were on the highway testing my car. He knew quickly it was a transmission issue (my car mechanic had suspected so). Fifteen minutes later I had an estimate for the cost, which exceeds the value of my car. Larry gave me advice on what cars had the best transmissions and then refused to take payment, despite my objections. I dont suspect he offers free service all the time (no business can) but I would have gladly paid double for the kindness, quickness, advice and care.

Google and the business website are giving inaccurate info. Theyre open at 8am, not 7:30 and they no longer service drive shafts. Hopefully this saves someone the trip.

Larry and his team performed magic on my Jeep TJ auto transmission and I have a nationwide warranty on top of it. Highly recommended!!

Beware. Tricksters. They will charge you 200% on parts. Or if you leave a part there over night they will sabotage it and then fix it in front of you. Larry the lead guy’s motto is, “You need to pay to play” (pay his price to have a working rig or daily driver) pretty horrible business model for a driveline. They are slowly losing customers and unable to gain more which is why he offers rather evil / maniacal service for something simple like a driveline. Don’t got there.

My mechanic sent me to UTS to have my driveshaft repaired and the service was very professional, done quickly and a good price. These guys just focus on drives and transmissions and the nice thing about specialists is that they have seen it all and can bust out a repair in their sleep.

Never go to here.. I paid 2200.00 .To get my stock transmission rebuit.. I have brought my truck back 4 times already . Still leaking .then they tell me .i have had work done to my truck..BS they dont know my truck....Im calling 7 on your SIDE. I KEEP GETTING RUN AROUND...I WANT PROOF I STILL HAVE MY STOCK TRANSMISSION...WITH Matching vin# as my dash....Very upset.....do not come here...Im an employee of CALTRANS AND NEVER WILL I REFER THIS COMPANY....

Larry is the man. We were driving through on our way back to montana, when our transfer case blew out. 3 am in Oakland stuck on the offramp. Managed to get the truck to a gas station and sleep in the parking lot. 7am Larry answers his phone, 20 minutes later he had a tow truck pick us up, and made us a priority. Back on the road by 3pm. I am so great full to Larry and all the guys who work there. They saved the day and got us back on the road within 12hrs of our initial breakdown. Thanks again Larry!!! All the guys from pci drywall appreciate all the hard work and understanding of our situation!!!!
