The team at Genstler Eye Center has been taking care of my eyes for lots of years and I just love Dr. Genstler! He is so great with patients. I had my eyes checked again recently and Dr. Stonecypher was very helpful in helping me understand more about my dry eyes. They also have such a good optical and have helped me with many pairs of glasses over the years. They are the best and I tell everyone to go here!

Over the years I have had vision exams and a foreign body removed. I have always been happy with the eye care I have received. The optical is also great. I don’t wear prescription glasses, but I have to wear safety glasses most of the time at work. The opticians in the optical helped me find two pairs of really nice safety rates glasses. They also adjusted them to fit me just right. Now I have safety glasses that are comfortable and I actually enjoy wearing! I couldn’t be happier with them and highly recommend Genstler Eye Center.

My initial impression was this was a Covid-safe environment.It was not.Dr. Gentsler looked into my eyes during my exam, six inches away from my face, and said masks dont do anything. I do not share his opinion and I found his comment intimidating (I was in the chair). Although he did have a mask on, it concerned me that he may conduct his personal life in an unsafe manner, thus putting his staff and patients at greater risk.One of his staff members wore her mask under her nose until after numerous polite hints, I finally said I have health conditions that make me high-risk, lease fix your mask. She got a new mask, but I heard lots of loud whispers while she did.The young woman who actually did my eye exam was knowledgeable, and very proficient. I hope she can find better employment.I will never return to this place.

Dr. Genstler has always been very professional and thorough. I have been his patient for several years and have always received excellent care.

I cant wear a mask because I have COPD. I was not told I would be required to wear one when they called to remind me of my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I was asked to wait in the hall or outside. There was no place to sit and I had to stand for 10 minutes. Im 71 years old and have severe Arthritis in my spine. The Specialist finally came out and told me I couldnt come in without a mask and I should go buy a plastic face cover. I told him fine and left. The reason for my appointment was to change the filters in my $3000.00 dollar hearing aids, a d clean them. He could have done that while I waited in my truck. I guess their tired of servicing my hearing aids. What do you expect for $3000.00.Today, I talked to Joyce and she found a solution. She took my hearing aids, cleaned and changed the filters while I waited in my vehicle. Thank you Joice.

Really awesome kind staff

I’ve ordered glasses now twice from Genstler- mine had to be re-done twice because they didn’t pass inspection. My sons were ordered 6 days after our visit and on the 10th day when I called for an update (keep in mind, this was day 16 since we had been in the office) nobody returned my call. We are finding a new eye care provider.
