The prices were decent, but the workers were no help at all. They didnt know anything when asked questions. It was very frustrating

Home Depot is always great, but today was extra great. They were giving customers ice cold bottles of water when they came in to offset the 90+degree temps. What a nice and unexpected surprise. Great customer service!!!!!

Nice store, I like the selection; better at larger stores such as Menards but this is all we have within twenty miles, it does the job.

Definitely a step up for merchandise if you compared menards to home depot whether it be power tools or construction materials. I bought my tile for my bathroom here and i am very happy with it.

Store clean, I picked up paint. The young man was very helpful and explained what paints colors could be 5 gal increments.The gal with blonde short hair who assisted us in purchasing a refrigerator was so helpful. We were not happy folks when we found out you cant buy and take. That only applies to clearance items. When we left we were happier.

I was in the store today looking for appliances and wasnt sure of what I needed.Becky the appliance specialist was beyond helpful.she took the time to look up items online that would meet my needs.I ordered my appliances and Becky explained everything I needed to get the appliances delivered.Home Depot is lucky to have an employee like Becky.I hope she can be commended for her excellent customer service.

We placed an online order so we could do a curbside pickup and they canceled it because they were out of stock. They called us back to tell us they found the product and we could reorder online. Well, they never put them back in stock online so we could not replace the order online. We called the store and spoke with a very nice person who said that when we arrived, we could call and an associate would come out and get our card and run it when we arrived and then bring out the product. We drove OVER AN HOUR out of our way to get to this store and when we arrived, we waited on hold for 15 minutes and then someone came out and refused to take our card into the store. WORST customer service ever. We wasted more than 5 hours of our time wrestling with this not to mention all the gas driving over here. EXTREMELY disappointed in how this was handled.

They had what I was looking for. A new window air conditioner, since no one in Mason City had any. I went to Albert Lea Home Depot for it. Thank you for your kindness.

Do you want to run around a home improvement store for an hour, getting sent to different departments every time you try to talk to someone? Then this is the place for you. I don’t know if it’s a prerequisite to work here that you know literally nothing about what you’re talking about, but that seems to be the case at this location. Way too small for the population who frequent it, and almost always out of at least half of what you went there for. I gave it 2 stars just because some of the people who work there are nice. Even Ben Shapiro wouldn’t like this Home Depot.

Good selection and had what I needed but... There was no cashier at checkout. Self check only. (Try the pro checkout or the garden center on the other end of the store for a cashier).

I had to put a gas heater in the basement for my brother inlaw. I went to home depot to get the gas piping I needed, there staff was very helpful helping me with the cutting and threading of the lengths of piping I needed to complete the job for him. Now he has heat in the basement, and is able to be warm when getting in and out of his shower in the basement.

They never have what I want and the website is always wrong.

Cashier was great, got military discount, only bought one item but was in and out in 5 minutes. One of cleanest and organized store that I have been to.

Went there to buy a hand saw for cutting wood. They dont stock a simple hand saw. And for some reason they have door handle sets in the tool department.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced my friend and I asked for assistance in the screw aisle did not get any moved onto the plywood aisle did not get any someone called for assistance for us watch to employees walk past us and then struggled ourselves to get what we wanted off of the very top shelf as another employee walks by us we then asked if they can at least cut the plywood for us when directed back to the saw station then two more employees decided to debate on who had the time or who was supposed to cut the plywood for us the one employee who did offer assistant did not have the

Bring my dog to every home depot and lowes accross the country and this seems to be the only home depot that does not allow dogs. Drove 35 miles to shop this store only to turn around and head to lowes in owatonna. Guess i will not be back.

I recently went to home depot to purchase clothesline. I walked around for awhile looking for it myself and couldnt seem to find it. But there is always something to look at and browse the garden center was just opening so there were alot of employees working and stocking and just hustling to get things done. I approached 2 young men and asked if they knew where I would find the clothesline . One of them looked at the floor and the other said I dont think we have that. Realizing they were young and probably didnt understand what I was looking for I continued on. A very bubbly and happy girl approached me and asked if I was shopping with my home depot credit card . I replied vI was not, she then quickly asked if I had the Home Depot app. I told her I did not. I then asked if she knew where the clothesline was. She looked confused for a moment and encouraged me to download the home Depot App.So I decided to humor her I said I will download the app if you find me the clothesline. She scurried off and moments later returned and said I think she said Isle 23. So I told her that while the app was downloading I would find the clothesline and then find her to help me finish whatever she kept rambling about in the App. Whatever it was it seemed very important t her.So I was off to find Isle 23 and my clothesline.Home Depot only has like 17 isles. So I found myself deep into the construction area of the store . I then saw a man with a tape measure and a pencil in his pocket . He looked like he knew his job. I approached. He smiled I asked him whee is the clothesline. Without hesitation he said hardware idle 13. He sounded confident and I believed him. So isle 13 was in my sights when the very happy girl appears again she is almost out of breath . I found it the clothes line. Isle 13. So we walked thee together. She did know where it was . She just didnt know what it was .The covers wire rope was on spools and needed to be cut to my specifications. This was unexpected. So I told the girl I needed to make a quick call home to double check the length I needed . 30 feet was the magic number.Now I just needed it cut.I was suddenly all alone in isle 13. No bubbly App girl in sight. So I waited at the spools for a few minutes the decided to go find some help. I supposed 2 employees one looked at the ground avoided eye contact and when I asked if she could help me she simply turned around and walked the other way. Another just kept walking. I asked the first 2 young men again . One replied I dont think we do that. The other picked out the intercom and paged help to isle 13.Now we are in business vI thought I thanked him and went back to stand my post by the clothes line . No one came and no one came . A very nice gentleman stoped to talk to me unfortunately he didnt work there he just saw me standing in isle 13 looking lost and slightly irritated at this point.I finally saw 2 employees walking in my general direction. I all but walked up and grabbed them by the hands and guided them to my clothesline. I asked them if they could help me and cut my clothesline . YES ...I felt ad if the sky had parted and God himself was there to help me.Until the one employee said we need a tape measure for something. I pointed out, good thing three is one right her on the floor in front of the spools of plastic covered metal rope ( aka clothesline) They did it,my heros . Then the hand wrote me a price ticket.Finally after about 2 hours I had my clothesline in my little hands and I was headed to the checkout. I was afraid that I might have trouble at the checkout. But I did not, it machine beeped I paid and out the door I went

Friendly staff. Everyone K talked o knew their department and was able to point me in the right direction. Very helpful and a all around great experience.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had buying any product. We ordered online the order stated Albert Lea had it for next day pick up. Got there and no product available. This even after a call was made after the online order was placed and the representative in the Albert Leave store verified the product was in fact there in store and ready for next day pick up. But it was not only finding this out upon showing up for pick up. Now I must wait 9 days for it to come in, as somehow it changed to a special order.So returned a few days later with a friend, guess what the product was there on the shelf. So I proceeded to the desk to get one as I did order it. No sir that’s not allowed as we don’t swap special orders and yours is a special order. So now I still wait 6 more days for product that’s in store even though it’s in store snd so am I.To make it worse multiple managers including Wes the general manager treated me like garbage. Never once taking accountability or offering an apology. I admit I was frustrated and mad, but never derogatory or disrespectful. All I got back was attitude and excuse after excuse. As if I was somehow stupid to not understand Home Depots policies and rules. And how dare I question them to create a solution or to attempt to make things right. Corporate Home Depot I’d suggest management training in customer relations and in problem solving at the Albert Lea store. Starting with your customer service and mid level managers, but especially with your GM I ask how did someone so disrespectful get to that level. It really does show what direction a store and company goes by the leaders they have.I may be just another Joe to you, but when enough Joe’s telling other Joe’s about their experience it doesn’t take long. I’d heard the service there in Albert Lea had went drastically downhill and you definitely proved it was true to me multiple times in this past week.Oh and still waiting on my order!

Everytime im in the area I like to stop at the home depot. I enjoy just walking around and discovering their new sales theyre running. Every time I end up leaving with something that I find on sale for a good price. And the team members are always friendly and the store is always well up kept!

Had a very positive experience shopping for window treatments. The sales clerk, Janine, went above and beyond customer service to show us a variety of blinds and shades. I drove 70 miles to the closest Home Depot researching a new water heater. The gentleman in front of me was waiting for help locating a product. After 20 minutes a young man finally showed up the help him. He was there only person in plumbing and no other team members could be seen. Another 10-15 minutes passed with the employee still was looking for the product for the other customer. I could tell he knew nothing about his department and therefore nothing technical about water heaters.I left my cart full of merchandise and started walking towards the door. As I did so, I passed a few other workers. Not one asked if I found what I was looking for. Not one acknowledged me in any way. If you want to know how a store should operate, look up my review of Menards in Mason City. Im heading back there for all my home improvement needs. I will not return to Home Depot.

Until the COVID-19 comes in to town then we went into Home Depot without masks and one employee says No, you have to wear a mask we graciously declined and he turned around and told his co-worker thats a $100 fine per person!Sorry I can not wear a mask!

If you are considering using Home Depot to you do doors or Windows install do not do it it is the biggest joke of all time after spending hundreds of dollars im a door install that was ordered back in mid July I find out that it will not be done until mid-october that isnt an acceptable time and that is 6 soon as that they can do it so if you really want your project to be done I would recommend finding a contractor to do it because theyre a joke

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I got to the store at 6:30pm, waited till 7:35pm for someone to help with flooring ( two calls were made for customer assistance) Needed a pallet removed from the upper level to complete my $2600.00 order as the last few boxes on the shelf were damaged. Waited another 20 minutes for gentleman to come over and inform me there was no one in the store that could run a forklift that he was the only one but was on suspension???? He informed me that I could take the damaged boxes at a discount or have them delivered. I informed him I’m from Iowa and drove 40 minutes to get here so he was like well that’s not going work so you can take them or come back your choice. At that time I just took them as I had a 40 minute drive and was already frustrated with how everything was going thus far. The same gentleman was asked to push the cart back by the associate and he shrugged it off like it was not his job with a few rude comments. At this time we sat down to check out at the flooring counter with the nice lady that was trying to help as much as she could. She imputed my information then called the acting manager to find out what they were planning to remove 50.00 dollars for the 7 damaged boxes. I was even more frustrated at this time because of the time and lack of customer service that was being reciprocated, I apologized to the lady that had been helpful and told her I would be leaving and purchasing from another location this was at 8:50. This is by far the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been too, and I will be sure to let everyone I know the type of customer service this store lacks. Home Depot Corporate should be ashamed of themselves for letting such incompetence run through there establishment. It’s really too bad you can’t choose zero stars as that’s what was really earned.

Home Depot of ALBERT LEA, MN. One of the best experiences in shopping in such a large facility. My wife and I had several items to look for. We were greeted with very helpful information and a sincere feeling for our satisfaction. We had several workers assisting us, but JOHN and I crossed paths a few times. Great job! Look forward to our next venture to the Store. Thank-you, smiles in other stores are sometimes hard to find.

People at Home Depot have been super helpful and make great suggestions, I have yet to have a bad experience there. The shipping is fast, pickup is easy - the workers dont mask, but I have seen a cleaning person every time Ive been there and *they* are masked, which makes me feel somewhat better about shopping there.

The Online pick up line and returns need to be Two separate people. When I ordered it, Albert Lea was my only option for pick up. Let me add thats an hour and 40 mins away from my store in Shakopee.
