This repair center was recommended to me by my insurance company and with a recognizable name, I decided to use them.My vehicle was involved in a minor fender bender, requiring bumper repair and tail light replacement. Through no fault of their own, a part was on back order causing a delay in repair, but they never took the time to update me that the fact the part didnt come in when it was expected, or when it did finally come in and my car was finished. When picking up the car, the paint had visible imperfections leading me to believe they didnt take the time to check their work, or care much about the work they did do.After fixing the paint when I pointed it out to them, the repair is satisfactory, but I wont be going back, and I let my insurance company know that they shouldnt be recommending the place given their lack of customer service and quality in repairs.

Get your car fixed elsewhere.. Zero communication with customer. My representative has not called when he said he would. Have had my car about a month and half. Insurance should of totaled it. Hopefully I get car back before Christmas. Service unacceptable!! Beware!!

It easy to drop off my car since I picked the location through Geicos app and started my claim. The Enterprise located inside had a full size vehicle waiting for me and it was no hassle at all. Even when I needed to extend my rental because of repairs taking longer.I recommend this location to my friends.

This business does not conduct itself in any form of professionalism, from the greeters up front, to the estimator, all have been nothing but rude and conduct themselves as if they absolutely hate their job . Time to repair damages has far exceed 2 months with NO updates unless I called to inquire. The times that I have inquired, I have been left on hold for over 16 minutes and not a single person has picked up the phone to check. There is absolutely no excuse for ANY business to conduct themselves in this manner. One star is being generous.

I believe today was my 5th time being to Car Crafters, as always the staff was very friendly and helpful, when it comes to repair, car crafters is always the first company that comes to mind, and always my first recommendation to anyone who was in a accident, and need of work done.

Super unprofessional, gave me my car back half a** done, their “body analysis guy” (Ramon) doesn’t know what he is doing. Told my insurance that my exhaust didn’t need to be replaced when clearly it was damaged. And uneven from the impact. They never keep you updated on your car what so ever. We’d call asking for certain ppl and they would say they weren’t there when they were. They installed electrical parts that’s don’t even work or turn on. Lied saying they’ve been working on the car the whole week when it’s been parked in the back in their lot. Never go here unless you want your car poorly worked on and to be treated badly.

Quality of work was terrible. Truck came out of the shop over a month later than promised, not everything was fixed and the front axle was not centered under the truck. They do not return phone calls and I would absolutely NOT recommend going here. Definitely won’t be back myself.

Rating a 3 only for the reason job was not done correctly, staff is very kind but you can tell they are always rushed, so they do not come off very presentable at times. Picked up my car today due to a small fender bender that caused for me to get parts painted. Job was done nice but not correctly, when I picked up my vehicle everything looked fine but once I got home & took a better look at it, I noticed some of the paint in a certain spot did not dry correctly. Very disappointed with this, especially with their “ Make it look like nothing happened “ quote. Now this takes more time away from work & worries about rides to drop off my vehicle to get re-done.

Do yourself a favor and take your car to another body shop. Your experience will be awful from start to finish. This shop should just do the automotive industry a favor and shut down. Extremely rude staff, absolutely useless insurance employees, and (only what I can assume) blind body shop techs. Took my car in for some dent repairs and got it back with even more damage that they refuse to take responsibility for. Was told my car would be completed in two weeks and they kept it for almost a month because they have difficulty coordinating and communicating with each other. My car was not complete the first time I attempted to pick it up because they do not know how to schedule outsourced work required to complete the job during the timeframe that they have the vehicle on the property. Found two points of damage that they caused, which they were happy to repair until they found out one of the issues was not repairable but needed to be replaced, they then told me that they did not cause that damage and I would need to open another claim with my insurance to get it replaced. When I spoke to the insurance agent they have on-site all she did was make excuses and defend the body shop. Also the work they do is mediocre at best, found overspray and paint bubbles on my car that they had to correct. Just an awful experience all around, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very unprofessional. I took my vehicle to get an estimate, and set up a tentative appointment for the next Monday to get repairs pending the arrival of my parts. My parts did not arrive, so we set up an appointment for the next Monday, again pending the arrival of my parts. They agreed to call me when my parts arrived. They never called, so I assumed the parts had not arrived. I called on Tuesday to check the status of my parts, and was told that they had arrived, but they didnt have room for my truck on their lot. Instead of apologizing for the lack of communication on their part, Chris, sounding very angry, blamed me for the problem, and said that if I had taken it in on Monday, they would have had room. I will be taking my vehicles elsewhere.

They have taken very good care of me after my collision for repairs and car detail/clean up.

This shop has poor service quality, and professionalism is highly lacking! They gave my husband and I our car with no gas after it went into the shop with a full tank! We were stranded on the side of the road not even a half a mile from the building, plus when we picked up the vehicle they gave us the rim locks to put them on ourselves and charged us and extra $300! THEN, we get home and our car is smoking from where we had the work done! And the general manager hung up on us when we tried getting this resolved.

Theyve had my vehicle for over two weeks, I expected to receive it back looking like it never happened. Although, the timing wasnt the actual problem, it was the fact that after I picked up my vehicle it was not up to par. After having two different inspections they still managed to miss obvious issues. They didnt change out the tire, exhaust, nor the wheel hub. They left it damaged and after letting them know the issue with the vehicle they gave us an attitude. Terrible service in both customer service and body shop service. Go somewhat else.

The employees were very professional and courteous. I got my vehicle back in a timely manner and the workmanship was fantastic. They did their best to also set me up with a car rental. I highly recommend Car Crafters.

Not only was the woman on the phone rude and not helpful I then met one of the men who would inspect the vehicle, he proceeded to only note visible damage done. Not actually drive the car. Thankfully I only took it there for insurance suggestion and it will now be fully worked on at the dealership. Total waste of time.

Cant say enough good things about this experience. After being rear-ended by a city bus, I had to take my truck in to have the bumper replaced. We worked with Dan, who I also cant say enough good things about. He kept us apprised of the progression every step of the way, and he was kind, caring, courteous, and really seemed to enjoy helping his clients and his job.While a national parts shortage (due to covid) caused the install to take a little longer than expected, I cant fault Dan or Car Crafters for that, and they still managed to get it back to me in a decent time frame. The work was excellent, and you cant tell at all that it was in an accident.As an attorney who only handles car accidents, I can tell you how stressful and frustrating the process can be, but Dan and his team did all they could to help take that stress off of me so I could focus on getting better and getting back to work! Do yourself a favor, if youve been in an accident and need to get your vehicle fixed, dont risk going to a buddy or mom and pop shop to get it fixed, go to Car Crafters and ask for Dan; hell take good care of you!

Horrible paint job. I have a fleet of vehicles and I took one of them to them. We are a transportation company so the longer our vehicles are offline the more money we lose.The first time they did a good job but they had horrible customer service. They didnt return calls. We had to have 3 different people try to reach them. Finally after 12 calls they called us back. Later, I needed body work done again. I gave them second chance (big mistake) they did an awful job on the paint. The paint bubbled. So we took it back (more time off the line). They said it would be ready by Friday and that they would call us back. They never called us back. We finally got a return call after 3 of us left them messages. Our car is still not ready and its Monday. Horrible customer service and the manger doesnt return calls either. No one there does. Very frustrating. I will never go back there again.

Just picked up my car yesterday. I am very pleased with the end result. My car was stolen in December and had lots of damage to it. After speaking to my claims adjuster Luis from Geico, I decided to go with Car Crafters (It was the jingle from the commercial that made me remember this place) Bruce is a very good a service manager/advisor at Car Crafters and kept me updated as to the work being completed. Although it took longer than expected I trust it was because car crafters wanted to deliver a quality restoration and I have to say they delivered! Thank again. Keep up the good work.

Overall experience was bellow average,had to take my car back multiple times to replace missing clips. The paint job looked good at first, but 4 years later it is peeling (garage kept). I should have shoped around instead of going on a friends recommendation. They will try to rush you out of the parking lot when you pick up your vehicle, make sure to inspect everything thoroughly.

Vehicle was not repaired to my. Expectations. The Bumper has a scratch and is not aligned as it should be and the paint work done shows they didnt wait long enough to re assemble the parts because you can see the paint in areas it should be and isnt looks scratched or not painted sufficiently...

One of the lovely people in Albuquerque decided to key up both of the drivers side doors my Lexus. My insurance agent instructed me to go to Car Crafters and I couldnt be happier. Car Crafters was receptive, helpful, performed great body work and Kim in the shop is the BEST!!!!!! I cannot say enough great things about Car Crafters but if one of the little darlings in Albuquerque decides to take a key to the side of your car, Car Crafters will make your vehicle perfect again. Received a call saying my car was ready. Upon inspection of my car I noticed several imperfections in the paint, the radiator support which was replaced was bent and not painted correctly. Picked up my car yesterday and there was a dent in the passenger side fender which was replaced and painted. Now I have to waste my time and take it back to be repaired. Car Crafters motto is we repair it like it never happened. Not even close to that!!! I am busy and dont have time to be taking my car back. I hope the owner of this business fixes the poor workmanship on my vehicle!!

Car was delivered to shop on August 10, 2020 and repaired and picked up on August 13. It was damaged on right rear side. They repaired it to be as good as new. Dan Crosley was great to work with and his people did a great job. Very Satisfied!

After our wheels were stolen they ensured the undercarriage of the car was not damaged. Very professional. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic to customers as well.

Ive brought a few vehicles here over the years due to accidents that were not my fault (so I cant speak from that side of the story) but, Car Crafters have always fixed things up right. Anytime there was repainting needed, even after several years in the New Mexico sun, I could never tell the difference from the original paint and the repainted areas. I recommend this place for sure.

Car crafters did a great job of repairing my vehicle when I was involved with a hit and run. The damage was on drivers side doors (both of them). When I picked up my vehicle there was damage to the windshield on the passenger side. Kim- who works there, told me they would take care of the damage. When I called to get it taken care of she said she needed pictures to send to my insurance... Why?? So that they can get paid for damaging my car?? Ive yet to hear from Kim at Car Crafters and at this point I will take my business elsewhere to fix their damage. Im very displeased with this.

Great place friendly service

I came here to get an estimate on repairs to my vehicle. They were very nice and professional. My husband read the reviews which werent great so he had me take my car to a Subaru Certified repair shop. I called Feista Subaru and they recommended Quality Collision who is Subaru Certified. HUGE MISTAKE!!! I got my car back with more damage done to it! Not to mention they took my WRX out on a joy ride. I got it back with an empty tank that had half when I dropped it off and an extra 123 miles on it! Wishing I had just stayed here. May bring my car here to repair the damages Quality did to my beautiful car!

Wow! They where so nice! It was snowing and I tried going to another shop and they said that they couldn’t do an appraisal because of the snow! These guys got right on it and the whole thing was a great experience! So welcoming, and for sure put me at ease! They explained the whole process, and have a little mini kitchen set up where they have goodies! 10/10

Good body work and 2 of the employees are awesome - the younger female at the front desk and the tall blonde gentleman. The rest of the employees I encountered were more interested in socializing than working. Absolutely no follow up or updates on my vehicle from the shop. They removed items from my vehicle and when I called to ask about getting them back, it was handled with no empathy nor urgency. They never called me back to follow up on the status of my missing items. I am very satisfied with the work that was performed and those 2 employees who proactively assisted me. I wish they would have just left the items inside my vehicle, though.

I was traveling through town when I had a small accident. Car Crafters had an on-site car rental that allowed me to drop off my car and get back on the road quickly. They were even extra understanding when I needed an extra day on my rental due to the distance I had to travel. I highly recommend Car Crafters, especially if you are working through an insurance claim.

Customer service is very good. The repairs a very good. My car was totaled because the expected cost of repairs exceeded 50% of the value of the car. I was not happy about that. Thanks for trying car crafters.

Car crafters is horrible! Their communication and Customer skills are the worse! And they were very rude. I dont even know how they are in business. Because we used our insurance all they would say to us is talk to your insurance . Than we verbally told them are car was being picked up and not once did they say anything about the release needing to be written. The tow truck got there and they denied them access to our vehicle and they never called us. Finally got our car back for it to smell and have cigarette ashes, which they deny it being them. So they are not only liars but incompetent as a business.

Estimate from this place are based on the person doing the estimate. If they are in a good mood, clients receive a good to fair estimate. When they are NOT in a Good Mood, clients get less than favorable estimates. These estimates for State Farm are curved toward State Farm to ensure the least amount of money is paid for a claim or injuries.

Place fixed my car good, but the receptionist was very rude and when I got my car back I noticed my windshield looks to have a lot of very small chips to make it seem like glitter is stuck to my windshield. (Yes I’ve tried washing it off)

From the time you walk in the door til the time your car is done, every employee you encounter at CarCrafters is friendly and professional. They have the entire process down to a science so your car repaired quickly and effectively. Highly recommended. No reason to go anywhere else, especially now that they have several convenient locations.

The Car Crafters team at the Montaño location are wonderful! My wife hit a coyote on Interstate 25 in her prized Thunderbird and did quite a bit of damage to the front end. The team took care of the estimate, ordered parts and performed all the needed repairs in expert fashion. They even handled the supplement for additional repairs once they discovered that there was additional hidden damage that needed to be taken care of. All insurance claims were handled promptly. Now my wife has her favorite car back and looking like the accident never happened!

Dont use Car Crafters unless you want anything left in your vehicle stolen or thrown away by mistake. They wont take responsibility for their actions and wont provide any semblance of customer service after they take your insurance companys money. Youd be better off going anywhere else. You wont ever hear from them again after theyve taken your money. Poor excuse for a company. Save yourself some greif and go with a different repair shop.

I’ve brought two different cars here and both times were phenomenal. The first car I brought needed a new bumper. They knocked it out of the park. The body lines were straight and they even matched the custom blue that I had on the car. My second car needed a new ignition. Dan (who I worked with) ensured I recieved the best service while making sure I wasn’t going to pay an arm and a leg. He was able to knock down the price $300-$400. Hello, I recently had my car rear-ended by another drivers vehicle and since I took my car to Car Crafters on Montano about 10 years ago, I decided to try it again. They did a wonderful job then and they did this same this time, too! When I entered, the business had several people, but I was treated with immediate attention and kindness. Even though my car is 10 years old, they treated me like it was a brand new vehicle--different from other businesses. Roger gave me an estimate and had it in the following week. The work was excellent and my car was cleaner than it was when I paid others to do it! I was extremely happy and if the need ever arises, Ill go there again. THIS location is the best! Keep them in mind; I highly recommend them.

Had my truck for 6 weeks the first time. Took it back to them because all the work on the truck wasnt completed. If your not mechanically incline dont take your vehicle here. My truck was hit at the drivers side rear the lady bent the whole rear axle. When I got my truck back the first time it was whining from the rear dif. When I took it back to have their mechanics fix it the correct way Kevin told me to show his mechanic what the problem was. They tried to push me around saying it was fine. At that point my trucks total was 2300 dollars. After I told them it was not fixed properly and to fix it the correct way the total went to 7200. They will give you the run around and try to push you around. Will never take any of my vehicles back here.

If i could put 0 i would have, car crashes did not inform me About paying to pick up my car, I asked can I leave it here at car crafters until July 11, Saturday, which wouldve been closed but I assumed they made an exception, they said yes, a guy with a red beard, it was only a pick up why would it be a hassle?july 11 comes in, and no one is here, now I am a pregnant woman stranded about 23 miles because car crafters doesnt know what day is when. I called the emergency number and Kevin the manager answered, I informed him his employees misinformed me, and all he could say was, I CANNOT HELP YOU.....

I have always been happy with car crafters work. They are courteous and efficient. I love the fact that insurance, car rental, and body shop are all in the same place. The one negative thing that keeps this from being a five star review is that they had Fox news on in their very nice lobby. That is a huge turn-off for many folks.

Absolutely the worst. Never been so frustrated and angry over the lack of communication from customer service reps in my life. Was told my truck would be ready on the scheduled date but the tire and wheel had not been done and they wanted me to take it with the spare on and bring it back. Found out from my insurance guy that he was the that found the tire was still in the bed of the truck the morning of pickup because they forgot to send it out. The following Monday I called to see if the truck was again finished, the queen of one word answers, one of the customer service personnel, told me “no” and when ask when it would be done the response was “I don’t know’. Called the following day before leaving work and was told it was done only to show up and find the paint had two noticeable dimples in it. Was told it would be done in 2 days. After trying to contact the service on the 3rd scheduled day of pickup he would not return my calls after waiting 3 hours and making multiple attempts I finally just went to the shop. The truck was still in pieces, although the repaint was completed.Wish I had read through the reviews before going there. There a ton of recent reviews that say the same about communication and customer service. This place is the worst.

We have used this Car Crafters location a few times. On the most recent visit the staff was helpful and the work that they did was excellent. The person in charge for my insurance company was professional and answered my questions. I was supposed to receive a call back (one regarding a shuttle service), but was never called. It wasnt a big deal to me as I was able to get a ride there, but it would have been nice to get a call back as promised.I would recommend this location to anyone needing repairs.

So if I could I would rate them in the negative cause my experience was garbage is the best I can put it.I was directed to this location by the persons insurance that hit me.At first it seemed pleasant but then I recieved my car back and there was a paint chip where they had just painted.When I brought it to their attention I was told by a lady named Kim that that was just they only fixed what was damaged .Even though that whole area was just paint.I told them that I had pictures of the area and that there was nothing there before.Eventually the fixed it .I will be honest and say that it came out nice, just didnt know why I had to go through the hassle of taking it back to them.Now we come to today. I went to take my car to get an oil change at a valvoline place. When the attendant open the hood he brought it to my attention that there was plastic moldings loose in the bay. When I checked it out they had not replaced the cover to one of the battery cables. Plus the cover to my battery was broken. I know that it wasnt broken before because I had washed my engine bay 2 weeks prior to me taking it to them.They blatantly told me that they would not cover it.So now I must come out off pocket to replace it.In situations like this most people just want their vehicles repaired to howthey were. Nothing extra.

This business works with many insurance carriers and rental agencies. They seem to do only cosmetic types of business under the belief that actual claims of damage may not be true... in other words, you must be a big liar if the damage is not visible. Several complaints were not appropriately addressed and here I am at the 30 day point with no more coverage for my rental. AND theyve found everything I initially complained about AND MORE! DO NOT GO HERE! Its my belief that this company functions under the pretense that you are first a liar and then if youre lucky theyll actually investigate the damages reported.

This was a very good place because they are cheerful and responsive to our needs. Completed the work faster than quoted. Having hertz rental on property is convenient. Only complaint is when we arrived at 5:30 pm to get our car, they had already locked the door and made us come back next day. Closing time is 5:30 but they wouldnt budge.

This shop does great work and goes above and beyond with their customer service. I had a minor collision and they did a great job with the repair, but missed buffing the scratches off the rest of the car. The employee who promised that left the company without making any record of it. But they still honored his offer and took great care of me, even when I missed my appointment and was a total pain in their @$$, they still took care of me. A horrible experience from beginning to end. The car that I drive for work was vandalized while getting the windshield replaced. The glass company took it to Car Crafters on Montaño to repair a door and a fender. They had it there for almost a week. When I finally got it back, the finish was absolutely terrible. I took it back to show them how bad it was. The guy who looked at it(Roger) agreed that it should not look like that. He said that they would redo it and they would need it for one day to get it done. I made arrangements to drop it off that afternoon(Thursday). And pick it up just before closing time the following day(Friday). We had a driver that was on vacation for the rest of the week. So, I was able to drive her car on Friday. I called Roger twice on Friday for a status update and left a voicemail each time. Closing time came and went with no communication from Roger or anyone else from Car Crafters. I got a ride over there first thing Monday morning so I could be there when they opened at 8:00. Roger was not in that early. But, I talked to someone else. This person told me that it just needed to be put back together, and it would be ready in an hour or two. So, I waited. I finally heard from Roger about 10:45. He told me that it was “baking in the booth”, and they would get it put back together as soon as it was completely dry. And, it would be ready in an hour or two. At 1:30 Roger had me take a look at it. I pointed out a few specific things that shouldn’t have been there. He said that he was going to “buff those out”. At 3:00 I was told that the car was ready and I was finally pulling out of the parking lot around 3:15. I got an opportunity to look it over a little bit later. I was not surprised to see that nothing was buffed out. So, once again they sent the car out with dirt, hairs, and other things in the paint. Along with a few runs. It was definitely better than before. But still not good. There is no point in taking it back. They obviously aren’t going to be able to get it right. I had already missed a full day of work because of this. And, I need the car to be able to work.They should change their slogan from “ It’s like it never happened” to “Its like something else happened. But, hopefully you don’t notice”.

Car Crafters is always a professional, quality, and reliable company to work with. Not to mention, they are a great asset to the Albuquerque community and advocate for other small businesses.

This place is a JOKE! I dropped off my car and never heard back from them on the status of my car. They kept my car for over a week and I had to keep calling them to check the status. After it was finally done, they so called put my car back together. See pics. They say they fix your car like a never happened. If thats what they call the work they did for my car lol. I think my car looked better before I brought it to them. So the tail light is hanging out and the bumper is not even in place. I let them know this is not acceptable and they havent done nothing. Dont waste your time. Dont go there! Poor customer service, poor quality of work, and they dont have good time management skills. Run run run...

Came in for repairs for my Hyundai Sonata, i was not contacted by Car Crafters to come and pick up my car, i had to call and ask for their Manager to get the status on my car. they over priced the estimate for items and service that were not needed, waited over an hour just to get my car back. i would not recommend them for service or any business.
