Everyone has their favorite hair stylist/barber, or bar keep. Mechanics are no different, many people have the one guy/place they take and have taken all their cars to for generations... Etheridge is that place. Chuck is honest, fair, and pleasant to talk to. Hell answer your questions, etc. No pressure or BS. Hes a veteran as well if anyone would like to know. I recommend you take your car here first, if in doubt, go somewhere else... then compare the experience. Thank you!!

Horrible place they want as much money as they can out of you. I over charged my AC and they told me i had to pay 900 for a new heater core and 150 to drain my system. I went to another place and they said nothing it wrong with it being over charged. You might be some.back splash but give it a day or two and its fine. They were gonna charge 400 for labor, thats 1450$ for nothing. If you want to get work done make sure to get it checked by a professional place before you take there word.

The service has definitely declined over the past several years. When you bring in your vehicle to be repaired, it is not fixed and you keep having the same problem. Also, we brought some Goodyear window wipers to be installed on our car and they said they would not fit. I took the car and the wipers to my nephew and he installed them in less than 5 minutes. Since the were Goodyear wipers, I thought they would be able to install them since they are a Goodyear shop. Really need to work on producing quality work and customer service.

We used to take our vehicles here years ago and had excellent service. Now the service has really gone downhill. We recently took our car to fix a problem that they said was fixed but it wasnt. Now we took another vehicle and it sat for 2 days at the shop and they never looked at it. Ended up taking it to the dealership and problem was fixed the same day and for less than what Ethridge quoted.

Just picked up my car after having the water pump replaced, back brakes fixed, and a few more things done. Im very pleased with the work done on the car and with Chuck who oversees everything. They had my car ready within a day and even did more work than was requested after theyd given the quote then found the thermostat was bad, and they didnt charge for it. Im very happy with their service.

They are great. They find the best price when they can and do their research to make sure you get the right product. They are NOT on drugs (as listed below). Just very calm, helpful people who want to focus on getting your car up to par. Will go here from now on.

I have had work done with them in the past with no issues. However we have brought a few fleet vehicles there and the time that it takes for them to even look at the vehicle is extended. My last time brought it on a Monday called on Friday and they had not even looked at it. SO I took it somewhere else. Our fleet will no longer use them. First come first serve is not a way to operate if you have a use for your vehicle. If you cant guarantee a time to look at it then what is the point.

Kind of declining service over the last couple years. Trusted them for awhile but since Ive been doing work on my own car, I realize what a rip off it is. My car had been having trouble starting. Thought Id bring it in to someone I trust. Well they look at it for about 45 minutes and tell me youre out of gas. Do you think Im that stupid? Is my first thought. Okay so why does it do this to me after I fill up a tank? They think, THINK it is the fuel pump, but want to go ahead and replace the damn thing for 390 dollars. Yeah right.So I go and buy a new fuel pump which costs around 65 dollars and install it myself in about an hour. Car runs fine that day. NEXT DAY, car wont start when I try to use it. Same thing, tries to start, but wont. Thanks for literally stealing 90 dollars from me.

Ive been going here for a few years and thought I was getting a great deal and really trusted this place, this last time my car was there for three days, and they didnt even look at what I asked them to while it was there,. They said the battery was loose and they had to replace the negative battery cable end. They left it loose (obviously on purpose) and my car died out a couple days after. Now my lights wont turn off in the car either so I think they messed with my electrical system

So I brought my car to there shop and my engine was just running hard... but when I got my car back the engine was blow and I tried to ask them how it blew and why because it wasnt blow when it first arrived and they did they best they could to try and not talk about the car and how they engine blew and then tried to charge me 4000. For a engine that had the same mileage when I can get a brand new engine from the actual shop it came from for 2,500.

Had a mechanic tell me that I just needed to add water to my radiator. Took it to Ethridge and they found where that same mechanic had not sealed one of the pipes off the radiator and it had started leaking. Ethridge fixed it and did a good job.

Went to discount tire and they had a 3 hour wait. Came to ethridge tire and they had me in and out in 15 minutes. Never going to Discount Tire again.

I trust these people with my life. They are honest, work hard, and will do a great job because they are focused on return customers. Took a long time to find mechanics such as them and have been happily going to them for four years now.

My serpentine belt went out on my Mercedes and I was a couple of blocks down the street from Ethridge Tire Center. Googled their number and called them to tell them my problem and asked if they could replace my serpentine belt in such short notice. They said YES come on in and they replaced it as promised. Thankful they took me in as a drive up, most places would have turned me down or asked me to take it in another day since it was almost 5pm.Thanks for not leaving my daughter and I stranded far from home.

I am a the third generation in my family to have taken my vehicle in to Ethridge Tire Center East. We have been nothing but loyal to ETC ever since Mack opened it. The employees at Ethridge are honest, kind, and just plain good people. If they do mess up, they WILL fix it. This is one of the best family business in Albuquerque. I dont understand any of the negative comments, because not only has my family been taking our vehicles in to ETC, but each generation has recommended ETC to dozens of people and each and every person that was sent, is also now a loyal customer. Jacob and Chuck both are very knowledgeable and friendly and are always accommodating. My friend had to leave her vehicle at their shop over night, so ETC made sure my friend not only had a ride home, but they also took her to pick her son up from school on the other side of town. ETC East is the best place to take your vehicle in Albuquerque!

The east side location is terrible! The service writer Jacob has terrible people skills, very rude, and he seemed to be on drugs at the time of encounter with him. The Lack of communication at this store is atrocious. I am not even sure how that shop is still in business, The WEST SIDE LOCATION IS A MILLION TIMES MORE BETTER THAN THE EAST SIDE ONE. Dont go to the NE heights one. I had to wait 2 hours, just to get a flat repair, which should have only taken 10 -15 minutes, instead Jacob didnt communicate with his mechanics that i was a customer in waiting. and I waited for 2 hours.

This place has an excellent diagnostion named Robert he was efficient at diagnosing my vehicle and fair priced on work done.

I have had a terrible experience with Ethridge tire from the beginning! We paid them 15 hundred dollars because my car was overheating, a few months later my car starts overheating again and they REFUSE to fix it. These people could care less about anything but MONEY..They are NOT honest and when I asked him about a rune up he said it would cost 500 dollars ..these people need to be held accountable.they are theives...

I take my cars always here for tires and tuning.

Our brakes were on Warranty and started rattling so we took the truck back to Etheridge. As it happens many times,surprise!!!...it was not the brakes but the Rotors. And...guess what? You got it, the rotors were not part of the warranty. So, after agreeing to pay $50 for each rotor to be replaced, I asked also for an oil change and the time it would take to get all done. 30 to 45 minutes was the answer.After about an hour, they told me they had brought the wrong parts and had to wait for another 20 mins for the right part to arrive. Oh well, to make a long story short.I walked in at almost 11:00 am and left 3 hours later with just apologies. I paid $140 dls not a single penny discounted just as if my time had no value at all.Never again....
