Wow!! Its difficult to return by a pleasing specialist significantly less one who works day in and outing. My vehicle wouldnt begin and required a starter, call portable auto truck fix which that they had me booked that day. Conditions werent the only but rather the expert sent took care of business, the vehicle wouldnt resume so I called these folks, the professional displayed in under 20 min and had the problem fixed in 10. Five stars as far as possible will save my business for every future need. Keep doing awesome!!!

Out truck blew a transmission line in the middle of the night. We called first thing in the morning and Audrey was super helpful on the phone. Marlon showed up quick and diagnosed the problem right away. He had to get a part for us and was back in record time, fixed it and was beyond amazing. Kevin came out to Santa Fe and diagnosed our problem on 7/11. Came back on 7/12 to fix. Ended up not replacing the part, just took off old one and put back on. It was air bag suspension on rv. That was good except to do that he charged $1200.00 labor. Yesterday service call was $220.00.There was a bit of price gouging because he was there for about 2 hours. He said charged labor by job, not hours. We had been stuck so not a lot of choices, but just be aware of their charges.

Would give 2.5 stars if I could - mixed experience.TLDR - Very friendly techs, did solid work, but intially misdiagnosed, left me to work on another job for 3 hours, and still charged for incorrect part replaced.Truck lost both power steering and brake (while parking, luckily). From out of town and dont have my tools, so I called these guys. Showed up at about noon, about an hour after initial call, which was great!But their mechanic and I both misdiagnosed the issue as the brake booster. After replacing this part (mechanic returned my NOT broken brake booster to the parts store for the core charge, there was no putting it back), realized the issue was the power steering pump, which is what I initially suspected and texted to their dispatcher.Tech left to get the pump from the parts store, told me Ill be right back, and I didnt see him for another 3 hours. I got bored and pulled everything but a few bolts and the pulley off the ps pump. Then I called his phone 4 times and he didnt pick up, so I had no idea if he was coming back. At about two hours, I gave up waiting and caught a ride to the nearest parts store and bought the parts myself, round trip was 25 minutes.By the time I got back, another tech showed up and we got the part out together. In about half an hour, the initial tech arrived and they finished the job, fixing the issue. Solid work, too.The initial tech told me he had another thing to do real quick, which is why he took 3 hours to get back. The other thing was fixing a semi somewhere else! He didnt tell me he was doing this or pick up my calls. Completely unprofessional.Considering this, the fact that I did some of the work myself and the initial misdiagnosis, I expected a low rate. They charged 860, including a 120 service fee and 350 for labor - they said they didnt charge labor for replacing the wrong part. The incorrect part, the brake booster, which they charged me for, was refurbished from OReillys which they said was 220 without the core charge, though the store I called had it for 160, which felt odd, but whatever.Anyhoo, the combined 470 for labor and service fee is pretty steep, considering they did about 2-2.5 hours of work on the correct part. If I could go back, I think I would have just called a tow truck to take it to a brick and mortar shop. Pretty irritated by the fact that the tech just bounced in the middle of a job without telling me or picking up his phone. If youre gonna run your businesses that way, fine, but dont charge rates comparable or higher than, a professional shop.

I called they said it would be an hour then I waited an hour called again only to be told they never heard from me and had no record of me calling. Then I had to wait another hour which ended up being longer because the dude was running almost 30 minutes late

We were hooked up with Mobile Auto Truck Repair via Coach Net and are we glad that we were. Our RV had a hose issue and was leaking coolant. Their mechanic came to us and was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. Instead of fixing it and taking off as soon as he could, he made a point to stick around to make sure that the fix was a good one (which it was). He also filled our radiator so we could get back on the road. We are SO GLAD that we found these guys – THANK YOU!!!!

What a joke! Was having alternator issues on the way through the Albuquerque area and figured Id give this company a try. The person I spoke with on the phone quoted me a price, which I agreed to, and called me back to get information on my vehicle and location, telling me that someone would be dispatched out to me and would update me with an ETA. Well I waited for 4 hours and they never showed or called and did not respond to my attempts to call them. I sure as hell wouldnt trust a company thats that flakey to fix my car.

Brian mis-diagnosised twice even after I had already identified the issue, later to have another shop verify. The bearing replacement blew out after 3 miles from being damaged during install. Driveshaft flashing, even though called unnecessary, still plays a part in protecting the bearing and was dented, bent and damaged during install which is necessary to avoid for bearing clearance.OVER-charged drastically for the work done. Caused way more issues than I started with. Very disappointed to say the least especially for how helpful and kind of a guy he presented himself as.Now Ive paid another shop to fix the actual original issue. Now I have to return to the new shop to fix the issues caused by the damage during the mobile shops repair/ bearing installation.Wish I was giving a better review or had a refund.UPDATEFirst off run down, high milage?? Really?...Ok so I have a detailed text conversation that went very different than what was replied below. the diagnosis was, and with continued insistant reassurance, that my parking brake was fine. I was told that the bearing would fix my problem. After the bearing not fixing the problem I was told it was my transmission and quoted prices. I have texts and can present detail dated copies if this company can provide and overhead manager to review such.After a new parking brake rebuild from a professional shop, the carrier bearing was still damaged and causing issues. When brian installed the bearing he damaged the outer bearing racing and driveshaft slip by attempting to hurry and not lining proper. It is very unfortunate that happened. We all screw up sometimes. Now I am in need of work on the drive shaft itself do to the damaging labor.Highly recommend paying a professional shop, professional prices instead of paying double price for unprofessional business conductors.

Two weekends ago, I developed a major wheel bearing problem with my travel trailer. While stranded in a city parking lot, I contacted Mobile Auto Truck Repair and spoke with Kenny. He quickly determined that he personally would not be able to help with my wheel/axle problem. He recommended J.R. Boat and Trailer towing company. He suggested I have it towed to a nearby RV service dealer. I did just that. And J.R. Towing was a pleasure to di business with. To summarize, I appreciate Kennys honest analysis to helping me without charging me a trip fee to show up and tell me the same thing as he did via phone. This is an honest mechanic and I would not hesitate to use his services or recommend him.

We were on our way to California when our rvs crank sensor went out. Axle showed up and was super professional and very knowledgeable. He was there within a hour and half of us calling. Told us what part we needed. Excellent customer service!

My alternator gave out on a Saturday night. I work out of town so my car is essential. I called these guys Sunday morning at 7am, they started working on it by 8am and had a new alternator installed and ready to go by 11am! Best mechanic express I’ve ever had!!!!!!

Waste of time! Called these guys, no answer. They text back to ask about the problem but never responded again. Was stranded with a blowout on the freeway at 12 midnight. They didnt even check to see if we managed to call someone else. Poor business practice!!!!

Wow!!!!! its hard to find a descent mechanic much less one who operates 24/7. My car would not start and needed a starter, call mobile auto truck repair and they had me scheduled that day. conditions were not the greatest but the technician sent got the job done, car would not start again so I gave these guys a call, technician showed up in less than 20 min and had the problem fixed in 10. Called them and ordered a vehicle inspection. They said that they would send a mobile mechanic to inspect vehicle, a 2012 Chevy Silverado, and send me the report. My card was instantly charged $129.60, but the report never came. I repeatedly called and was assured it would be sent, but still nothing. I even called the parent company, ABQ HOUSEHOLD SERVICES and got the same assurances, but, to date, NOTHING! What kind of a way is this to run a business?UPDATE: I filled out the online form at their website, as they requested in their reply, and still did NOT hear back from them, asap or otherwise. What a JOKE. We were traveling in our rv 20 plus hours from home and our alternator went out. I called this company 2 hours before we were to hit Albuquerque . Told them we needed a new alternator and make and model. When we got about 15 minutes away, I called and no answer. .. called again and they said to go to a truck stop and the mechanic would meet beat us there. Well 35 minutes later the mechanic showed up and said we needed a new alternator.. $250 !! So they wanted 250 to tell us we needed a new alternator which I told them almost 3 hours ago!!! Then $1500 to replace it. No not acceptable. Thats highway robbery. What a joke. We bought a new alternator at auto zone for $140 and it took 1 hour for my husband who isnt a mechanic to install himself. I really cant believe there are companies like this who take advantage of travelers stuck with no options. You and your company should be ashamed.

They came through fantastically for me and my father on our cross country trip. They came out the same morning (the day after Christmas) and got us on the road ASAP. Marlon was knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with!

It’s a long review but worth the read!!!!!This service was amazing. We were passing through New Mexico and were unfamiliar with the area. We were coming from the east coast and our RV’s oil sign came on. The sign gave us a percentage and it was at 4%. We knew we weren’t gonna make it to our destination which was Phoenix, Arizona. At that point, I told my dad we need to call this place because it is the only place open right now. And not a lot of places change the oil on RV’s, so it was a miracle that they are open 24 hours and work on RVs. Since we have never been here, or know anything of our surroundings, we gave it a shot. We were scared at first because of all the things you hear in the news that happens to the families or individuals. We met at Autozone in Albuquerque and the 2 guys that came and changed our oil and the oil filter were so nice. When they came and said hello and told us to move our RV to the edge (so it’s out of the way) we knew they were genuine people. They were so respectful and kind. We had a good conversation while they were changing the oil and got to know each other a little bit. I 110% recommend calling these guys to help you’re vehicle needs because they are some genuine kind people. They came right on time and got straight to the job while holding a good conversation. It truly made us feel better.

On my way back to San Antonio from Salt Lake City my radiator popped a hole and my engine began to overheat. In the middle of nowhere I had to scramble to find somebody to repair this, at 7:30PM...ON THE 4TH OF JULY!!!! I came across Mobile Auto Truck Repair and called hoping somebody would answer. Brian answered the phone and told me where to go to get a new one and said he could have somebody to replace it the next morning at 11:00. He quoted me for the repair which was extremely fair for a regular day far less a holiday weekend! I went and picked up the radiator and coolant and limped in to Albuquerque. I told Brian I was in a rush to get back to San Antonio where my wife, son and I had just moved. At 6:30AM the next morning he sent me a text letting me know he would have somebody at my hotel around 8. The technician showed up and 2 hours, and a new radiator later, I was successfully on my way home to San Antonio. I cannot thank Brian and his crew enough for not only helping facilitate the repair but performing it BEFORE they were even originally scheduled to show up. This is an amazing crew and I 100% recommend them to anyone who may encounter road troubles. If you are ever in San Antonio give me a shout and the first, second and third rounds are on me Brian! Thank you again for getting me home to my family safe. You cannot put a price on that!

Kenny arrived promptly on time and had my truck up on a jacks within five minutes of his arrival. I thought I needed a brake job but he cleaned them up and made some adjustments and I was ready to hit the road. Additionally he flushed my radiator and did an oil change all for much less than I would’ve paid for just the oil change at a drive-through place!I will definitely be using Kenny for all of my upcoming track maintenance!

Although Mr. Bryan and his apprentice provided great service after their arrival, there are a couple things that bummed me out. We originally ended up on the side of the road at approximately 0900. This was the first call I made and it seemed as though we were going to get lucky. However, we were unable to get back on the road until 1400. Only being an hour outside of Albuquerque did not prepare us for the 5 hour wait ahead of us.The problem, which Bryan did a good job fixing was a brake failure, with a full replacement. A single brake locked up and began to smoke. He was able to diagnose and get the correct parts over the phone with a couple questions and a measurement.My negative feelings primarily revolve around the pricing. We ended up having to pay over $800 for this single brake replacement and we were also told that there would a 10% discount due to the fact that my wife and I both served in the United States Marine Corps. I paid the deposit with card and the final invoice with cash once the service was completed and should have asked about the discount before handing over the cash that I owed him.It took two days to receive the final invoice and then I realized that there in fact was no military discount applied to the final price. I made mulitple attempts over a three day period at contacting Mr. Bryan and the office with no success and getting the $80 discount that was verbally agreed upon.Needless to say, I have given up on the military discount. Although I can say confidently that Mr. Bryan is a more than capable mechanic, I would highly suggest pinning down a set price and any discounts before fully paying any invoice. With my experience, once that invoice is fully paid the communication and responsiveness that is seen before payday is completely different.UPDATED: After posting this review Mr. Bryan reached out to me and issued the refund for the military discount discussed above. Although it did feel a little expensive, the circumstances we encountered were handled professionally, properly and my family and I were able to reach our destination with no issues.

Im from Santa Fe and my family of four (two children under 7) took a family day trip to Albuquerque recently. As soon as we drove into town our 2016 Altima stopped working. It was 90+ degree weather outside, my kids were starving and cranky, my husband was stressed out and we had no transportation. We called Kenneth D. to come look at our vehicle with no real expectation of being back on the road soon. I took my kids to a nearby fast food joint and by the time we were done eating Kenneth had fixed an O2 sensor in our vehicle and we were on our way!! Our day was barely inconvenienced and our wallet was happy too! We went on to have a great family day of fun in Albuquerque. I highly recommend Kenneth for ANY mechanic needs but especially for mobile mechanic needs. I dont know what we would have done without Kenneth that day! Tow the car to a mechanic and wait for hours or possibly days for a repair??? Nope!! Kenneth to the rescue!!!!

I have used these people a few times already for work, Last time I did use them they were servicing my bucket truck for an oil change, my truck wasn’t leaking oil at all and now it is after the service. I have called multiple times for them to come and fix it and no response. I am unable to use my truck for work and completely unsatisfied that I had trusted these people to work on my truck.

Broke down about 15 miles west of Albuquerque on I 40. Cell reception was bad but they texted me back and told me they were on their way.Problem was diagnosed as a bad wheel bearing he called his boss and the boss picked up the part and headed out while the mechanic started disassembling the bad bearing. Part arrived put on and I was back on the road .I felt the price was reasonable for the service I received.

Doing a DIY front suspension on my 04 CRV I couldn’t remove the right side axle from hub/steering knuckle. I found Brian and Mobile Auto and Truck Repair on line. He was at the house in less than two hours. Brian discovered the parts rusted so he removed and took to his shop to press the axle out of the hub. In less than a total of 2.5 hrs he repaired and reassembled the entire right side front end. Getting an alignment the next day a crack in cv boot Proved to be a tear. Brian returned to replace entire half shaft as warranty work...free! What a great find. Brian is personable, prompt, and fair. He totally understands customer service and stands behind his work.
