My husband and I purchased a vehicle from Galles a few weeks ago, and it was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! They sales staff wasn’t pushy at all and were so kind to us the whole time. They didn’t haggle us and were very transparent. They even were able to work with the credit union to get us lower monthly payments! Conner was very helpful and helped us find pretty much our dream car! They had plenty of inventory of both new and used vehicles, and lots of options to chose from. This was so refreshing after some not so good experiences at Reliable Chevrolet. Highly recommend, especially if you are in the market for a nice used vehicle!!

I got a great truck, BUT AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. Why? Galles balked at honoring the price advertised on their website. The guy at Galles (I wont mention his name though I could--I wont stoop that low) said doing that would result a loss to the dealership, and he couldnt do that. Instead, he wanted an additional $5,000 to $8,000 for the 2021 model I was interested in and had financing for. He tried to confuse me with dealer double-talk, but I saw right through it. Im 63 years-old. Ive been around. Im not stupid. I left empty-handed, but it turns out a better experience was just around the corner. A couple days later, I went to Amigo Chevrolet in Gallup and within a couple of hours I drove away in a brand-new 2022 Silverado. I was treated with respect the whole time and the staff bent over backwards to help me. Thats what I was expecting when I went to Galles initially; instead, I was insulted and belittled. I dont know why some of the other people making comments here are so complimentary. Could it be I its because Im from the wrong zip code? In any case, never again Galles.

Galles Chevrolet is an amazing place if you are looking for a good deal and friendly service. Sergio helped my wife and I find the truck we were looking for and really listened to what we wanted and we really enjoyed the tour he gave when we were waiting on final numbers. Lorenzo was amazing and really helped us get the best deal we could in regards to the trade in of our Colorado and the purchase price of our Silverado. The truck had a cracked windshield and Lorenzo went out of his was to get it repaired. I can say without a doubt if I ever need a vehicle in the future I will definitely come back to this dealership because the the friendly staff and service we received. Thank you!

I recommend this dealerships service department and my experience has always been positive. I live on the westside of Albuquerque and will travel to Galles for car repair even though there is a closer Chevrolet shop.

Our dealer was customer friendly, showed me exactly what I wanted, helped get me an affordable payment plan, and worked very hard and quickly to complete all the paperwork. Was at the dealership for only two hours, whereas I would’ve spent twice that time at other dealerships even if I knew what I wanted.

The sales experience was great, perfect! Travis was awesome in helping us select a vehicle that fit our families needs and Lorenzo was very helpful in getting us a low interest rate. BUT It has been almost 3 months and we still have no title, no registration and we were just told we have to complete our registration ourselves because we are under “special circumstances” since we are military and live out of state. What a GREAT way to help your military members who fight for your freedom by not registering their vehicle or telling them at the time of purchase that it would be our own responsibility. So here we are, 3 months later with expired paper tags, unable to get new paper tags and no help. Very disappointed with the entire title/registration experience.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2020 Silverado Trail Boss from Galles. Honestly, from the moment we walked in we were treated like family by Annette and her team. Shes highly knowledgeable and helped us consider some similarly trimmed alternatives, just to get a lay of the land. From start to finish, we never felt any pressure from her or the team to make a purchase, and she went above and beyond from a customer service standpoint. They actually allowed us to take the truck home to see if it fit in the garage! Thats unheard of this day in age, but the shoe fit, and that ultimately helped sell the truck. Not to mention, we made the purchase pretty late in the afternoon/early evening, and between her and Juan from finance, they made the process incredibly enjoyable and speedy, considering how late it was. They all worked until 8 PM, which shows the efforts they go to (and Annette had even come in on her day off for us!). Highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Galles. Youll be treated like family from the moment you walk in, and you wont regret it, whatsoever. We love our truck. Pics to come!

Someone provided my information maliciously to inquire about a new vehicle. I have a vehicle that I am happy with at this time. I have received emails to my work email and multiple calls a day since then. I have responded that I am not in the market for a new car yet keep getting harassed. I have had to block multiple phone numbers and email senders. Thanks to this experience, I now have certainty that I will never get a car from this dealership when the time comes. I have partnered with my works IT to report the emails, which helps with half of the problem.

Went in to get an oil change, spoke to Brian and told him we drove into Alb. from Grants and had an appointment to make by 10 a.m. . It was currently around 8:30, he stated it would be 2 hours period. ( Had better conversations with automated phone prompts ) We decided to have the oil change done though Brian never tendered any other options. I asked about the deterioration on the headlight and he said they were plastic it was normal and would be $99.99 to clean. He said we were due for fluid flushes for trans. and coolant though he couldnt do it now. I asked about trans. flush as I had heard it was bad to flush the o.d. transmissions he robotically stated it required the 60,000 mile flush. I asked if they checked the tires and he said yes, I told him no one told my wife our tires were worn and we had just replaced them at a local shop. He said when they saw it last and I told him at last oil change, he said they probably wore down 2/32 in that time. What he didnt ask and I didnt tell him was that the tires at been replaced 5 or 6 weeks earlier. ( another lost sales opportunity for you ). We sat down to wait for the change to be done, I received a text from Brian asking if any questions about car to text back. I asked about cost of flush and he replied 30 minutes later in all caps that it was $199.95 plus tax and they could do it any time next week. At 10:30 after sitting for the 2 hrs and texting Brian at 10:36 I asked for an eta on oil change and was never responded to. Apparently if he can get a sell he will respond but not for status on cars he already has, though I found it quite enjoyable watching him fit work in between bites of his breakfast. Finally fed up at 11:00 I walked up to him and said if my car wasnt on the rack I wanted it back as I had already rescheduled my appointment twice by this time. He said ok started to walk off and miraculously it was on the rack and he said 20 minutes. 40 minutes later I finally got my Traverse back, ( A shade over 3 hours later ) Brian was my cashier and seemingly knowing I was unhappy patted me on the back and took my payment. This was the worst experience I have ever had at this dealership bar none ! I get it their short handed ! If you cant get it done say so ! Id rather you be straight forward and tell me cant do it then waste 1/2 my day. Much less ask me to sit there and watch you eat your breakfast and and not even apologize.The take it or leave it attitude has to go especially at dealer prices. Ive been in automotive for more than 1/2 my life and a little empathy goes a long way, I like most of your customers that day wasnt there because its fun. I can do this job myself but have had good luck in the past and its 1 less thing I need to do. Probably not the case in the future and I can get the trans. flush for a good bit cheaper at competitors.

This place deserves 0 stars! This is a shady business that will take or I should say steal your money from your car and blame you for having it in there. IT shouldnt matter what is in the customers personal car but it should matter on the INTEGRITY the employees and the GM is lacking! They made me erase my first review because they stole money and blackmailed us. They told my husband for me to delete the review then they will give us our money but when I did, they didnt want to answer phone calls anymore. Now we have a lawyer involved because No ONe should be treated like this. Eddie Espinoza the GM is very unprofessional and tells lies about what you say. They also have druggies working there so beat up your car when they take it for a test drive. Just look at the other reviews. Ive reached out to some and they all say the same thing, that this place is HORRIBLE and NEVER give them your service. STAY AWAY FROM GALLES CHEVEROLET!

I took my vehicle in for oil change and there was a line, they told me it would be 2 to 3 hours. I lifted my vehicle there and they were done a little over an hour that was a plus because I had to get things done that day. Your service was great, very gentleman that worked with me were great. When I drove onto the lot at Galles I already know which car I wanted to look at: a 17 Corvette Coupe with 3,000 miles. I was greeted immediately and introduced to Annette. She was immediately warm, friendly, and low key. We inspected the car and went for a short test ride. Then I told her I hated white cars (thats the color of the vette) and had no intention of purchasing that day. She remained cordial and professional. No pressure whatsoever. Overnight, I had a come-to-my-senses moment and could hardly wait for the dealership to open the following day. I was heartbroken to learn that Annette had the day off. To my surprise and delight, she agreed to come in and we completed the deal. This took at least half of her day off. Great service! I highly recommend the sales team at Galles and Annette in particular. I only hope the service team is as competent. Guess Ill find out.

What is the purpose of the Contact Us tab on their website? I submitted a request to be contacted and gave details about why I wanted to speak to someone on 8/25/2021 and no one got back to me. Anytime a customer is ignored, there is a chance that the company is not appreciating the person or taking them seriously. So, the result is a negative review. Update: After this review was posted, I was contacted a few days later by the salesman who sold me the car. He advised me that the Anti theft system known as SWAT ($1900) was NOT an option at the time of sale but a requirement. Beware of this requirement.

So far our experience with their service departments communication and customer service is going from mediocre to just plain unacceptable. Our vehicle was towed in on Saturday. When it was checked in we were notified that when our vehicle would be worked on we would receive a phone call to get authorization. This did not happen. We were also told that it would not be looked at until 5 -7 days. When we called on Wednesday to see when they would get to it, we were then made aware that it was brought on Tuesday. They had started to work on it without authorization. We are having a difficult time with just getting updates or even reaching Leonard. We keep getting forward to voice mails and are not calling us back at all. Even when they had said they would call us on that specific day. Cant comment on the technicians work since we dont know anything about our vehicle and what is going on. All we where asking for was an update but I think we will be taking our business elsewhere.

After making an appointment to bring my 2020 Corvette in for service, the vehicle sat for a week before being worked on. Car was in the shop for 34 days. Although some of the time issues surrounded a unique problem on a new design and part delivery delays, communication was very poor. Promises to call to provide updates were satisfied only once. To top it off, although initially the service writer promised to keep the vehicle inside (later reducing the promise to we will do our best to keep it inside )the vehicle, when finally done, was returned to me absolutely filthy. In some places the dirt was so thick one couldnt see the paint. A very disappointing experience.

This company sold us GAP insurance when we purchased our new car its over 1000.00 and was told that this would help pay for extras after an accident. This is not the case. All I can say is that we lost the money we spent and then some and when we contacted Gallas we were hung up on over and over. They are aware of the customer complaints about their GAP insurance and they are still selling this and telling customers that is needed and essential. I hope this review will save someone else both the stress and money.

I bought a 2018 Chevy Silverado hd2500 in January I bought the premium warranty on it. I was told from the dealer and the third party warranty that they could not fix and warranty my differential that when out because of a defective differential seal, do to that I bought new tires that was two size bigger. The truck is a heavy duty truck they are trying to find any excuse not to fix it. I am very upset that I have to pay out of pocket to fix the repairs!!!!!

Brian Crowe was just amazing with his attention to my particular issue. My wife and I were traveling through the Albuquerque area heading back to our home in Arizona when my truck went into limp mode unexpectedly. This was on a Saturday no less! So the On Star folks contacted Galles and a tow company to help me out. And, as busy as the service department was, Brian made sure to prioritized my service because I was an out of town, traveling customer and my truck was my only mode of transportation. The service team found and repair the issue in under 2 hours and I was on my way. Many thanks to Brian and the service team for going over and above what would have been required of them. Went in asking for an oil change for my Silverado, got told it would be done within 1 hour and a half by Leonard Garcia an employee there, I then asked again about my truck when 2 hours had gone by, (they had not even touched my truck by that point) and was told I had to wait another hour. I then had to leave because I needed to get to work, so then came back when I could because they said as long as i came by before 4PM I could get it serviced, was there at 3:40 PM and was told by Leonard Garcia that I could not get it serviced since it was too late, after I had just waited 2 hours for nothing. REALLY bad customer service, would not recommend especially for $110 you would expect better service. shameful since the last time I went it was quick and easy.

Customer service was good, however, request for tire rotation was not completed due to tire key was missing. I gave the technician the unopened tire key package as requested and after I picked up the vehicle and leaving the premises I saw notation they were unable to perform the rotation and noticed that the tire key package was open and left in vehicle. I do not understand how it could be missing when the package was unopened.

When I first arrived I had to wait for maybe 5 minutes or maybe more until Matthew R. checked my truck in for service. My usual visits I’m greeted as I drive in. Yet there were at least 3 people sitting at the service desk. Two were talking and one female was sitting with her head down maybe writing I’m not sure. I could tell it wasn’t busy because other employees were in and out if the service area. So the waiting was my main complaint.

Fast talkers and they get up and leave in the middle of the deal to visit with who knows who taking forever to come back. Will never do business with them again and I advise you to do the same.

I bought a 2016 4x4 v6 Ford F-150 a year ago from these guys and I started having problems with the truck 4 months after I bought it. First the P. T. M. S. On the right rear tire went out,,,then the speedometer got stuck at 55 mph coming from my sisters house,,,then the radio went blank twice in less than a month. I asked the salesman if the truck came with the floor mats, and he said no, so I asked him if he could get them from me, and I never heard from him again. Now the left front P. T. M. S. went out about a week ago, I have two recalls that I received by mail, that they dont have parts yet to fix the problem. Top it off,,,the truck was broken into. There are pieces of glass on the side air vent. Then I found out that the truck has more than 8 recalls, not counting the ones I got. Makes me wonder if they got fixed.

The most unprofessional dealership ever. They take days almost a whole week just for a simple diagnostic and give you the run around. I’ve been told I would get a call from them 5 times now in the span of a couple days and I’ve had to call every time and they told me today that he “can’t find the tech working on my car” so I’ll have to get a call back, again. Sometimes they don’t even answer when being transferred to service. They also “couldn’t figure out” a rattling noise that another mechanic found in 3 min. I literally picked my car up from them and went directly to another much better mechanic shop and they fixed my car in 1 day.

Its pretty bad when a dealer sells a certified used vehicle, only to turn around 4 months later and have their service department to them say it needs a new engine (and then claim its out of warranty). Its even worse with the dealer does this to a young woman who desperately needs a car to get to/from work, and then leaves her in the lerch.

Try to have us sign paperwork for a vehicle that they where not sure when they would have the vehicle . They we said no to a price more then a dozen times and every time we said not they got more aggressive. So we walk out and they the started calling and texting myself and husband and my father and I ask him to stop contacting us and yet that he called my father looking for me . If you were trying to sell a vehicle this is not the way to do it harassing your possible customers into signing paperwork that they are not comfortable signing. You might wanna look into who your sales people are and how they do their work before you hire them

I usually dont have a problem with the care we receive. On Saturday we took our 2017 Silverado for an oil change. We paid for the service and noticed that the truck had not been lubed. We told the person helping us and he told us they had lubed it. My husband took the person to the truck and showed him that the place where you lube the truck was full of dirt and had not been lubed properly. Even after we got home the lube had not been done properly. It looked like the mechanic just sprayed a small amount on each area to make it look lubed. When we got home the bottom of where the truck was supposed to be lubed was still empty.

The company I am going to work for next month was trying to buy me a pickup for work and we found one at Galles. It was going to be a cash sale. When we got down to the price I was informed that because of the shortage of vehicles right now they were charging a $ 5,000.00 premium on top of the MSRP. That is a total scam. We found a GMC with the same equipment at another dealership and only paid MSRP plus got a $ 3,800.00 rebate. Buyer beware of this kind of scams going on to take advantage of people. I will never consider Galles again.

Made an appt online for July 5th, but they were closed. One of the guys walking through the used car lot was very rude, explaining that I should have known since it was a holiday and usually people call service.Idk, but it seems to me that if you cant manage to completely block off a day that youre not going to be there, the fault lies with you, and not the customer. I had the right to be frustrated.When my fiance arrived the next day, she told him we had an appointment and he proceeded to ask her what all needed to be done. I did it this way so that she wouldnt have to remember every piece of maintenance to be done and i could rest before a 14 hour shift. Then asked for us to give a good survey so that he doesnt get fired?.. seems a bit unprofessional to me.The site also advertises 45 minute oil changes, and having worked in this industry before, the extra work, tire rotation and air filter change, were not things that should have pushed it out to take over 2 hours, consideribg this was an appointment and especially when there were people getting walk in service after she arrived and left before she did.Its fine, well just go somewhere else next time. Just very disappointed with this businessThe last time we took a car there they were up front and honest about the time it was going to take so I was able to just drop off the car and get other things done, seems like things have changed a lot in the 2 years since weve been there.

Great Service, Mike Cottone was a god send! On our road trip home for Christmas the transmission in our 2018 Chevy Suburban went out. When we arrived at Galles Mike jumped into action to expedite the parts required to get us back on the road, worked to ensure the repair was covered by the extended warranty, and arrange transportation for us (even ensured it accommodated our dog). The repair was extremely fast but Mike ensured we were informed every step of the way. Amazingly we were back on the road the next day. Yes they actually put in a new transmission in less than 24 hours!!! Needless to say Mikes fast response to addressing our repair was instrumental in us making it home in time for the Holidays. We are grateful to Galles Chevrolet and Mike for all they did to help us get back on the road.

Anthony Sedillo Took my truck to trade in Tuesday was helped by Anthony Cano was offered 3 thousand so I told them my situation about a job Im trying to get and wasnt ready to trade just yet so he comes with another guy who offered me four still couldnt do it for that price so he comes back with another guy offering me five thousand for my truck and a lot of other stuff like gap insurance so I agread cause they where telling me it was a good deal .so me trusting they where trying to help cause needed car for my new job signed papers .when I got home they only put 3 thousand for my truck and everything they made sound free added up to a few more thousand on top of the truck I bought wich was 42 thousand with 64 thousand miles was supposed to fix seat also when confronted Anthony he made it sound like that was the price agread didnt even try to make it right my first truck wich I bought from them was fair but these people take advantage will never buy from galles again. WATCH OUT BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE cant trust their word to do what they say seeking legal consul

I recently traded in my Ford Escape for a 2020 Malibu. Steve Gallegos sold me my escape and he helped me again selling me my Malibu. He is awesome at what he does and knows what he’s doing. I won’t go to anyone else! Lorenzo archuleta also helped me with all of the paperwork side in finance and was awesome as well. I will be going back there for anymore future purchases.
