Great experience buying from Lexus of Albuquerque. Its tough finding a new car these days and not a lot to choose from. But Frank Valencia did a great job tracking down a brand new ES300 hybrid that we really like. Hes very knowledgeable and upbeat without all the foolishness thats common at many dealerships. I highly recommend Frank Valencia as well as Lexus of Albuquerque.

The entire staff down at Lexus Of Albuquerque was extremely helpful and very nice to us, we didnt come down to buy a Lexus, but I felt as though they treated us like we were buying the most expensive vehicle there but we werent just a very fairly priced mini van which we love it, it is perfect for our disabled son to get in and out of easily. I asked for a quote on my trade in late one Thursday night, by 8 am Friday morning I was contacted by Crystal. She not only sent me a trade in value for my car but set up an appointment with Isaiah for me to see a car that same day. Isaiah was so easy to work with, as was everyone else. After a test drive and some paperwork I was on the road with my new Lexus and couldn’t be happier! Lexus of Albuquerque is by far the best car dealership in not only Albuquerque but in New Mexico.
I had an amazing service department experience today. I made an appointment online yesterday, and was able to get my vehicle in for maintenance at 9 am this morning. I was able to request for my vehicle to be picked up / dropped off so I didn’t have to miss any time at work, and I didn’t have to sit at the dealership on my day off for my appointment!!!!Huge time saver, excellent customer service and efficient crew! I highly recommend this dealership, not only for the sales portion, but also the service department!

Wright Zimmerly is everything that needs to be standard in car sales. He set the standard for the industry and wow we were impressed. He understood our needs, the industry, the products he was selling, and everything in between. Ultimately, a Lexus was not the right fit for us. But honestly we seriously debated buying a Lexus just because of Wright, even though the vehicle wasn’t right. I would recommend anyone to Wright. We cannot say enough good things about him. Lexus, you snagged one of the best in the biz, don’t let him go!

I was treated very well. I bought an older car with very little to no profit to the sales person Mike. Didn’t matter. He was very professional, had the car cleaned, then he gassed it up and delivered to my house. Also he had the detail boys color a worn spot on the drivers door panel. Honestly best service Ive ever had. This is my third purchase at a dealership and I must say it was the best and most comfortable experience ever had at any dealership Ive been to. I got my dream car thanks to Isaiah my sales guy and words cant even express how helpful he was and there literally throughout the whole process until I got my car. I purchased my vehicle and he called me literally everyday giving me updates until he gave me that call that my new car was ready! Or salesperson Diontray showed a a few options while taking our feedback to narrow the search. We ended up in a LS460 which we love. The purchasing process was convenient and streamlined. Best car buying experience I ever witnessed/been through! I recently purchased a used Lexus Ux at the Lexus of Albuquerque and was extremely surprised with how everyone was professional, knowledgeable and attentive! My family and I have had our share of bad experiences from other car dealerships and this experience has blown them out of the park! I highly recommend Chris Montoya for any car buying needs! The second I called him, he was professional, respectful and understanding of my needs! He was able to find the exact car I was looking for and we made a deal over the phone. From when I came in a few days later, to take a look at the car and get the ball rolling, he stayed true to what deal we made and did not hackle me for my bottom line or trade in! I was very surprised, I thought I would have a different experience when finally coming in, but no he stayed true to his word! Not once did I feel uncomfortable during my purchase experience. Daniel Poe in financing was also amazing. when we were driving off the lot we were greeted with a woman who hadn’t even dealt with us and she cheered me on and congratulated me. i couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me. if you need or want a car new or used car, this is the place to go!
Buying a car has never been fun. However, with Lexus of Albuquerque, what an easy process. All of the staff were great to work with, no pressure, they did all that they could for us and we are very pleased.
Chris Montoya helped us from the beginning. He was not pushy at all was very attentive the entire time. Answered all of our questions and very focused on OUR NEEDS. We went in to buy a used vehicle from them and he wasnt trying to make us a buy a newer vehicle. He was very down to earth and didnt make us feel pressured into anything. He offered us drinks and snacks and constantly addressed any needs we may have had. He was open and honest about everything didnt try to hide anything from us. He was an open book! She has done all of the service on and got me a good deal on my car and she puts forth the best effort she can. The rest of the staff members are also very polite and respectful. I had a great experience with the service department at Lexus of Albuquerque. I live in another state and driving through Albuquerque on the way back home. I was introduced to Daniel Perez and was treated very well. My wife and I had taken our RX330 in for a maintenance and check engine light (which as you can guess is very scary not being in your own city!). The lead technician for Daniels team was kind enough to allow us into his work area and had shown us hoses on the motor that were cracked and leaking causing the check engine light and would be an easily fixed problem. We were able to make it back home safely without any other incidents. Thank you everyone at Lexus of Albuquerque!

I bought a used BMW from Edward (Michael) Torres and his willingness to accommodate my requests made the experience truly enjoyable.For example: Being an out of state buyer, I requested photos of the car and Michael sent pics of the sides, front, back, interior, as requested.He also brought the car to the independent service center I selected for a pre-purchase inspection. Michael then had the two recommended repairs done by a Certified BMW tech at Lexus of Albuquerques affiliated shop, Sandia BWM.Finally, Michael picked me up at the airport.This is exceptional service for a used vehicle purchase, and speaks to Michaels and Lexus of Albuquerques professionalism and customer service orientation. We recently went looking for a used Honda Odyssey Mini Van. We were lucky enough to have had Joe Ramirez assist us with purchasing exactly what we were looking for. It was by far the BEST experience we have had with a dealer. Despite the the inexpensive choice we were making, Joe treated us as if we were purchasing the most expensive vehicle on the lot. He was kind and caring and did not try to sell us something we did not want. I had just received my second vaccine and was feeling pretty awful. Joe streamlined the process so that we could get me home as soon as possible. We would highly recommend Lexus of Albuquerque and specifically Joe Ramirez and we will be return to him for any future purchases.

Still waiting on a parts expert to get back. Its been well over a month. Spoke with them to get assistance both over the phone and online. Each time they said a parts expert would call me with prices for my items by the end of the week. Guess they mean end of the same week but in 2022
I was in the market for a new vehicle and had been researching Lexus for a good period of time but wanted to physically go and see the vehicles and test drive them. I was so pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful experience i had with the Lexus team here in Albuquerque, NM.The person had the opportunity to work with was Isaiah Polansky. From the time i arrived, he was incredibly polite, knowledgeable and no pressure. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He was very transparent and i appreciated his approach and demeanor. In return we were transparent about our concerns and requirements before purchasing. Isaiah worked with my requirements and made the entire transaction seamless, no pressure and incredibly hassle free.Even once i arrived back at the dealership to complete the transaction, Isaiah was well prepared and had all the documentation prepared expediting the process and the wait time minimal. We had a extremely satisfactory experience once in finance and worked with Sean Greathead. He was well prepared, explained everything with great detail, he was patient, and was thorough. Another great attribute that added to a great experience.This was by far one of the best car buying experience I have had. I was in and out and got an outstanding quality vehicle.
Service was done. Oil change and basic maintenance. It took around 8 hours. When I called to ask what time it would be done Juan replied “should be done before end of day” which to me is not an acceptable answer. I mentioned that my gas light doesn’t go on. Juan originally told me the gas light on those cars comes on and you still have “over 100 miles left”. I told him I saw my range listed as 12 miles once, and the gas light had never turned on. He then told me it would turn on under 10 miles left. Again I don’t find this truthful or helpful. Also when they cleaned my car the drivers side window was left filthy. I had to go and wash it so I could see out of it properly. All in all I think they provided poor service because of these reasons. Basic maintenance with oil change on my Lexus was $219.

Chris P has been helping me buy vehicles since at least 12 years ago and just like Rob ALWAYS goes above and beyond. I had the pleasure of working with Frank Valencia and I’m SO happy with how it all went. I live in Florida... a pretty long stretch from Albuquerque LOL, so I was a little sketched out of buying a car from this dealership purely because I wouldn’t be able to see it and ensure it was in what I deem to be “good condition”... but I really wanted the car so I took the leap of faith and Frank made sure that all my questions were answered. Any little doubt or concern I had throughout the whole shopping and buying process was dealt with in the most professional way I’ve personally come across ... and I dealt with at least 8 dealerships across the country trying to find the perfect Lexus RC f sport... a lot of dealerships I actually ended up turning down solely because of how lacking in the customer service department they were, but not at this dealership (: I’m super thankful for the experience I had.. best experience a young first time buyer could have. OH- not to mention I never once saw the car in person till it got delivered to me and it was just as Frank described it.. AMAZING condition. Ugh, I’m just happy hahaha... don’t hesitate in buying from here, and ask for Frank Valencia if you want an experience like mine :D
The last time I went through the process it was awful, so I was skeptical about another bad cars sales experience. My time with Lexus was great though. I presented the letter of preapproval for a loan from my bank, along with clear instructions to fax or email the purchase order to my bank for my purchase. I was thanked for doing the work of getting preapproved by the finance manager. However, my request was denied and consequently a credit check was done, even though I asked them not to, my overall credit score dropped & I was told to work with my bank regarding my request for a different payment date. It was not made clear to me that a new loan was being done- the documents I signed had my bank info so I thought it was documents from my bank I was signing. I notified the corporate office of this issue, who forwarded my complaint to the dealership, who apparently swept it under the rug since I never heard from them. Their failure to follow my request & use my preapproved loan was unethical & extremely unprofessional. My bank confirmed all they needed to do was provide the purchase order, personnel are available even on a Saturday, when I visited this dealership. Very disappointed in the financing to say the least.They registered my warranty over a month after I paid for it & after I brought to their attention it wasn’t done. I was told that they’d notify me when it was activated. They didn’t do that either. I had to make sure it was activated myself.I was told that my case would be used for “training” because this “shouldn’t” have happened to me. Management never returned my call.These folks provided the definition for BUYER BEWARE. Horrible service & a pretty damn lousy experience!
This was my second time using Lexus of Albuquerque for my service needs. The first time was not good to keep it simple. I had little to no communication on what need to be done on my vehicle or the cost. I had to make several trips to the dealership over the course of several days to get information about my vehicle.Recently I was in need of an oil change and thought it would be good idea to have a company that sees my make of car often give it a once over incase an issues came up. Once again no communication and lack of service quality. I spent over 3 hours at the dealership waiting. I have been to other Lexus dealerships where this process at the most takes 2 hours. I was the only one waiting for my service to be done. Finally after 2 hours Rob Jordan who helped me both times came out and said they would be pulling my car around shortly. After waiting for another hour someone had to go and see where my car was.The service, communication and atmosphere is terrible. I would say if you are looking for good quality service in a friendly environment go anywhere else. I hate to say it but i felt that if I wasnt a young African American man my experience would have been different.I know that my business didnt matter to them in the first place but regardless they wont be getting it again.
Scheduled oil change online and arrived 10 min early. Advisor initially made it out to be a huge inconvenience that it was the end of the day; once ironed out with service was very nice jc. MP inspection looks like it was pencil-whipped. Green on everything, brakes yellow v.v. Inner CV joint boot has huge tear with grease everywhere (noticed two days after oil change, since it was driving strange …before and after visit). I had asked to really check the vehicle out (standard mp) since recently purchased.

Lexus of Las Vegas, where we purchased our GX470 in 2007, ALWAYS excellently serviced our SUV.Today, at Lexus of Albuquerque we had a different service dept. experience. During our standard inspection/oil change, I asked for the 3rd row seats to be removed, to which the senior technician would charge a 2 HOUR labor chage! Took me 1 minute. Sheesh!

Went to ABQ dealership on 04/02/2021 around 3pm to look at three different vehicles but was interested in buying a 2018 Honda Accord with 7800 miles. everything was good with Tony our sales guy. Had gone to Garcia Honda and were treated awful I told this to Tonys finance manager and he swore up and down he was going to take care of us it was all a lie. Wife and I accepted for the dealership to run our credit. Tony took my information and started filling out the credit application. Tony asked my wife to sit in his chair and fill out her work and reference which my why and i though was weird. here we are doing the sales persons job. Tony ran our credit and said great and left to the finance manger office. After like 10 minutes he came back with a white paper that showed the breakdown of the trade in amount and title and license fees and it also showed three basic payment options with no money down and with $500 down or $1000 down. I told Tony we were currently pay $ 275 a month for our car and wanted to have affordable payment for our kid that was graduating from high school. Tony said these are the options you. Wife and I thought okay will start negotiating at this point but Tony got up from his chair told us thank you and left to his finance manager office basically slammed the door. I told my wife okay I guess that is our cue to leave. So we got up and left. Listen I have a top tier credit that what we also been told and we bought a Lexus LS430 about 10 years ago from and we werent treated this way. We felt we were targeted possibly because we are Hispanics and not given a equal fair treatment. Lexus should be ashamed to have employees that do not display pride in commitment to their customers and hire employees who lack helping customers find their dream car like it says on their website. Listen I get it this is a business I am not asking to give the vehicle for free but at least try to find a solution maybe another car. I had doubts about writing this review but at the end of the day I didnt go into the dealership to ask for freebie I was going to pay for the car and the fact we were treated this way I felt like other people needed to know. If the dealership wants more info they can contact me they have my information saved in their database
I want to give a HUGE Shout Out to Lexus of Albuquerque! They went Above and Beyond this last weekend when they accommodated us for a special photo shoot for our team! They cleared out the entire show room and strategically parked 5 white Lexuses for our R+F team picture. It was truly an act of a 5 Star Dealership!If this wasnt over the top enough, Kassandra Muldez joined us for our evening festivities and helped arrange our cars on site at the party. She tracked my keys and took care of us above and beyond all expectations! I am so proud that our company chose to partner with Lexus... I went for a routine oil change. Lexus always offers to was your car with any service. I was going to opt out because my dog had shed hair all over the interior. I assumed Lexus was always washing the outside of the car. Much to my surprise the inside of my car was vacuumed and cleaned as well. I know this has nothing to do with my car and it’s operation but that is why I chose to leave this review. Service is hard to find these days and I really appreciated the surprise is sitting in a clean car when I didn’t expect it. This one act alone solidifies me as a loyal Lexus owner for the rest of my life. It’s really nice to leave a business and say wow.
From the time we purchased our Lexus to now dealing with the service department, this dealership has performed far below the expectations we had a for a Lexus dealership. The certified Lexus we purchased had multiple cracks in the windshield upon delivery to us, the service department charged us for an oil change when we had those included at no charge, and the last time we had an oil change, the service department notified us the vehicle would be ready in 30 minutes and when we arrived to pick up the vehicle we waited an additional hour beyond the 30 minutes for it. We love the Lexus but cringe when we have to deal with this dealership so we will not buy a Lexus again. We will stick to a Toyota as I’ve been treated great with my Toyotas every time I’ve dealt with the Toyota dealerships here in Albuquerque.
I went in after leaving work one day last week and I rushed to get there because they close at 6. I arrived at 5:35...I didn’t think it was too bad. I just wanted to see the car real quick. I’m helping my son find a Car and he wasn’t able to get off work in time to come to dealership himself. I walked in (no one came out to see if I needed help) and stood there with SEVERAL workers walking right by me (a few at desks right in front of me) no one offered to help me for about 10 mins. Finally after standing there (and contemplating leaving) that whole time, Chris came and asked if I’d been helped. I told him no and he apologized for having me wait. I though to myself, “it’s fine, he seems nice enough”. I explained to him that I was helping my son look for this specific car and had seen one available at their lot. I apologized for arriving so late and told him I didn’t need to drive it, but that I just wanted to check it out. He assured me it was no trouble at all and he took me to where the car was located. We went to see the car and the windows were tinted pretty dark and I wasn’t able to see inside, so he told me he was going to get the keys. He left me waiting out there for 15 mins and I started getting cold because the sun had started to go down. I walked to my car to get my sweater and waited there since I was parked right in front of the door and figured he’d see me when he walked back out. I sat there in my car with the door open waiting for him another 15 mins...watching other workers leave for the day...HE NEVER CAME BACK OUT!!!! I’m not sure if he couldn’t find the keys, forgot, gave up and went home or what happened, but I’ve never experienced a car dealership that had so little interest in helping/selling a car...EVER. Horrible experience.

We bought our first Lexus here about a month ago. We went out to just look at different vehicles and get some test drives in and out experience here made us get our new RX450H many months earlier than planned. We weren’t harassed by salesmen as soon as we exited our car, in fact we were able to wonder around at our own pace looking at different style and models to get an idea of what we wanted. It almost seemed like magic that when we were ready to test drive we were met by the team and off we went. Isaiah took us out on a test drive and was nice and friendly and knowledgeable and answered my questions before I could even ask them in the order I was going to ask them. He even gave us his honest opinions on the different cars we were going to be comparing. After the test drive we left to go to another dealership and before we did the sales manager Jason Gates talked candidly with us for a couple of minutes and prepared us that we probably weren’t going to have as good an experience at the other dealership. We took that information and was sure every dealership says that about every other one. However, we had the absolute worst experience at the other one. We left that other one and went straight back to Lexus of Albuquerque and bought our RX. Kassandra was so nice and walked us though every model we even remotely considered wanting and compared them all side by side so we knew exactly what we were getting. We ended up getting the one we test drove and couldn’t be happier with the decision. The entire team at this dealership made us feel like family. We were never pressured or talked down to or made to feel like we didn’t belong, which as a younger couple we were a little afraid of going into this process. Nope. Got the complete opposite experience. This is the best team in the business hands down. If you’re looking and have any doubts, look no further you’ve found the right dealership.

Just bought a new Lexus SUV hybrid from Lexus of Alb. Everyone involved in this purchase from my first looking around visit, to the final transaction was polite, helpful and attentive. Salesperson Kassandra worked diligently to find exactly what we wanted, despite our requirements being rather demanding. After a couple hours of effort she never rushed us. Even the dreaded finance guy, Daniel, proved to be helpful and actually saved us a considerable slug of money by suggesting an alternate payment approach. The tech instructor, Jacob, came out to our house and gave me a solid course in the miracles of the cars electronics. All these folks gave me cell numbers to call them directly with questions (which I probably will do). Overall this was a lot better experience than any previous car purchase Ive made.
I wish no stars was an option, I’ve owned Lexus vehicles for the last 10 years and thus is by far the worst service dept. I often drive to Santa Fe or even a Toyota dealership for better service. They fail to check what coverage you have, I was told things were covered under my warranty but somehow it is in Santa Fe? Too rushed and in accurate here
I heard wonderful things about Lexus customer service and I brought my car for its first oil change. After 2 hours of waiting for my oil change I asked the service representative where my car was. He came back and said it would be another 20 minutes. I told him I had never waited 2 hours for a scheduled oil change before and the situation wasnt remedied until I went to find a manager to ask about my car.
I cant say enough about Kassandra Muldez. She was incredible. She was patient, knowledgeable, and very interested in knowing what I was looking for/needing. I am very pleased with my car and look forward to many happy miles and a continued contact with Kassandra as the need arises.
Today, 2/27/21, we had an appointment for a test drive with intension to pick a car for us (I had a pre-approval letter for car loan from my lender with me). I made an appointment online. First of all, I was told that in contrast to, for example, Carmax there is no option to reserve a car. To the moment of our appointment, the car I was interested in was gone. But there were other cars that may be interesting. I got an appointment confirmation text message from sale representative Timea. Also, I got an email from the General Manager that assured us that “We look forward to exceeding your expectations.” When we arrived today to Lexus of Albuquerque, we found that nobody waits for us. Some employees ask if they can help but said that sale representative Timea will be here soon and disappeared after that. One employee who aske us had his face mask on his chin. Another employee had a heavy coughs just in the customer lodge. We forced to retreat immediately outside. After 20 minutes of waiting I made a call to the number from that I got the appointment confirmation letter. That was Timea. She said she will be in a couple of minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting time since out appointment time, five times of “a couple of minutes”, I made another call to Timea, nobody answered. At this point we left after wasting of 30 minutes of our life. I can not imaging what is included in the service with “regular expectation” in Lexus of Albuquerque.

We couldnt be more happy with Lexus of Albuquerque and Kassandra our sales consultant. We have bought 4 cars in 3 years so definitely have worked the system multiple times. Her knowledge of the line and her quick responses back to us make all the difference. Service with Rob is always a pleasure. A loaner car is always available or we sit with the newspaper and a yummy danish and coffee while we wait. This is the nicest dealership around.

Lexus brand is amazing and the sales team is great. When you have to get serviced make sure that you plan an extra hour or two to be not waited on, even if you have an appointment, and be discriminated against. Also be aware that the lady at the front desk doesnt care. All she does is mess around on her phone.

I went in for a recall on my lexus. that went okay but the un - attention i got when i returned to get my car made me decide l won’t drive all the way to ABQ again. will see if Santa Fe is more accommodating
After bringing our Lexus back TWICE, they still didn’t fix the issue. All the negative reviews about the service department are accurate. The first time they had my vehicle I found a post it note with slushee orders written on it. They had permission to diagnose my vehicle and drive it to do so but not to get food or drinks in it. My husband spoke with Anthony, the service manager, and arranged another drop off and provided us a loaner. We were looking at possibly trading it in for a newer Lexus and the sales department was quick to call us yet we couldn’t get the service department to return a call even during their 4 ten hour shift schedules. Then, my car was there for 2 weeks and the only time we got an update was when my husband physically showed up at the dealership. For being a “luxury” dealership the service department is not. Very disappointed.
The reason we continue to purchase from Lexus of Albuquerque is because of the outstanding and consistent customer attention from Service Consultant, Daniel Perez, and his team.
Don’t hesitate to bring in your Lexus for service to this shop! These guys always take care of me when it comes to the service department. Granted I do a lot of my maintenance myself but there’s things you gotta leave to the pros! Bets in Albuquerque, NM. The service department for the second time has forgot to notify me when the car is ready. Literally sat for an extra hour after my car was completed. I asked the cashier if she had my keys, she looked for them frantically. Went to the back of the service department came back and ignored me. Didn’t tell me if she found the keys or not. I finally went up to the counter for the third time and she acted puzzled and confused why I was asking for my keys, again looked for them. Then she finally found them on the counter. My service adviser never told me the car was ready. This is the second time this has occurred.
This dealership has the absolute worst customer service/service department I have ever experienced. They constantly give you the runaround, hang up on you, and put off your very important maintenance on your vehicle. I wouldn’t put it past them to void your warranty due to the tardiness of their services. Also if you pay $30,000+ On a car don’t expect it to come with Floor matts, and when you ask for some they’ll say they will get them for you and never actually do.
I bought a used SUV and they made the experience quite easy. Even though it was used, it was very nicely detailed when I got it.
