I was passing through town and the lift in my RV stopped working and for me that means I can’t get out of the RV. So I called them and they were great. The service manager took a look at it and easily fixed it in a few minutes. This could have been quite a problem but they solved it!I wasn’t a customer of theirs, either, but they understood the importance and I felt like a valued customer. Thank you United Access Albuquerque.
I recently rented a wheelchair accessible van from United Access to move a friend from southern New Mexico back to Albuquerque. Mary is the associate that handled my rental. She is outstanding. Professional, friendly and a joy to work with. Mary provided me with the knowledge on the operation of the locking straps and ramp mechanism and gave me the confidence that everything would work out fine. Which it did! I highly recommend Mary and United Access if you are in need of transportation for anyone with mobility disabilities.Thank you Mary and United Access!
If you just need parts for your mobility equipment you will pay a huge markup here. In our case it was 350% over what the manufacturer charges. The mobility equipment business is a money making racket. Most manufacturers wont sell directly to a consumer and you are forced to go through these companies. United Access is the only dealer locally for some brands so you are forced to pay whatever they want to charge you. It takes quite a bit of effort but there are other businesses that actually care about their customers & will do what they can to get what you need at a fair price. Not here.
Although they are the only place to buy a handicap accessible van in Albuquerque we are willing to trade in our 2010 Chrysler Town and country and they offered us $7000 even though they have a 2010 Dodge Caravan that they’re asking 26,000 our van has less miles than theirs and has more options very disappointed we purchased The van through themTwo years ago for over $26000.00 And for it to lose almost $20,000 in value in two years is amazing to me So how do I known the vehicles that you sell lose $10,000 a year in value I would’ve never recommended you guys to my friends
Very friendly staff! I have been going here for about 5 years. The service is great and i know i am always getting quality work for what i am paying.
Incredible knowledge and personalized service are how business is done here! A great community aware group of people invested in more than selling vehicles!
Very helpful to find and suggest things that you may need for transportation needs.
I had a great experience, again, with United Access Albuquerque!!! Service was excellent and the vehicle was perfect!!! I used United Access Albuquerque in 2010 and that experience was also excellent. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend to all who need a handicap van!!!
Really wonderful service that they provide, making handicap vans available for rent. It enabled me to take my dad out to many places he hadnt been since his stroke a year ago. Priceless.
They installed a scooter lift on my vehicle. Great installation, knowledgeable staff. They provide professional service to clients like myself who are going through a transition in our lives.I will use them for scheduled service and I can highly recommend them to anyone going through a transition. I am a retired First Responder from California so I have some working knowledge of the equipment they sell. I also have a son who is a paraplegic and I am encouraging him to take a look at United Access. Many of us look upon handicap vehicles and related equipment as something they will never have to deal with. Surprise, it can happen to anyone. You will be in professional hands at United Access Albuquerque.Preston GuilloryPrivate Investigator Emeritus Ret.
United access really good crew really good guys service department to help you with your special needs special assisted vehicles dont take care of you
Prior to ordering my controls I asked if they would be able to install in my car. The answer was yes. They have not been able to complete the install of the Veigel Commander. Received a call from the GM but still no follow up from the service department as to when they would be able to finish the install. Customer Service not the best
Customer service is poor.I have used United Access at least 6 times in the last 2 years. I am a quadriplegic and have a van that I can drive. I have never left United Access without encountering some delay or a need to leave my van all day for 2 hours of service. I have never had a bill of less than $700.00.Most recently I had to have my steering mechanism sent to Maine at my expense. I was told it would take 3 weeks to get it back. They have now had the steering mechanism for 7 weeks with no end in sight. I called the EMC office in Maine who confirmed that United Access has had the part for 10 days. United Access has not been able to confirm that they have the part and say I will need an appointment to have it installed. Next appointment is in 3 weeks and they wont schedule it until they can confirm that they have the part. Total estimated cost is over $3000.00. I will not have been able to drive my van for over 2 months. Its obviously very inconvenient to be without a vehicle that I can drive. Its also difficult to drop it off as that is the only vehicle I can be transported in.I will give kudos to the mechanic, Andrew, who is apparently their only EMC mechanic. He has helped me with advice over the phone. He seems to be very knowledgeable about the EMC system.
I have always had excellent service from United Access in Albuquerque! Good people, always a good job done!
From the beginning, Alex demonstrated professionalism and was prompt to respond to our needs. As a result, we traveled from Las Cruces to ABQ to get our van lift repaired. Alex met us on a Saturday two consecutive weekends to accommodate us. He was helpful, friendly and truly cared about us. I highly recommend United Access ABQ ! Thank you Alex and staff!
