This Precision Team is extraordinary. They went out of their way to fix our garage door which is larger than many. They expedited the work. The best customer service I have experience.

I had a great experience, start to finish! I scheduled an appointment and one was made available to me within 24 hours of contacting the company. I like getting a photo of the technician and an estimated time. Tony arrived early and solved my problem in 45 minutes total. He gave me price ranges so I could decide what was best for my budget. I will definitely use Precision the next time my garage acts up!

We recently purchased a garage door and garage door opener from Precision Garage Door. We talked to 3 companies and got quotes from two of them. Precision was considerable lower than the other bid for the same quality door.and opener. They kept us updated on the installation day and actually arrive at the estimated time. The installation was done professionally. The package included 2 remote,s an outdoor key pad, and an in garage pad. The technicians explained how to connect the key pad demonstrated the two remotes and how to use the emergency door release, They also spent the time to touch up every small blemish on the door paint which they explained occurs during shipping of the product to then. When they left I was a VERY SATISFIED customer

He also on check point inspection, pointed out things not done right and he corrected them.I really appreciate the job done perfectly and more.I highly recommend.

My garage door springs broke in the morning, i called Precision after reading reviews on Google and other sites, the technician, Jeff Peres arrived at my house within about 4 hours. He took his time, evaluated what needed to be done to bring the door up to a good operation condition, gave me a written quote. He then proceeded to preform the work which i personally inspected. He did an excellent job. Jeff was very professional, friendly and took his time performing each step of the repair while explaining why it should be done. Precision is not the cheapest but they are certainly the best that i have used and i will call them the next time i need anything for my garage door.

Tony came up and replaced all of the mechanical components on our garage door after a spring broke over the holiday weekend. We called on the holiday (Monday), and he was here the next morning, saving our cars from being trapped in the garage! From a real person answering the phone when we called, to the quick service time on short notice, to the completion of the job, everything was extremely friendly and professional. I recommend without hesitation.

If there was a six star button, I would have used it. Gary, the business owner, came out on a Sunday morning to fix my stuck (up) garage door and install a new lift system. My door is troubled, due to a foundation issue and challenging to work on. Old school professionalism and work ethic. And friendly, especially for a guy who has given up his Sunday morning to help you out of a jam, literally :) Two other alleged 24/7 garage repair companies didnt even return my call. Gary was there early Sunday, after I called late Saturday. Couldnt ask for better service.

I called late in the day on Friday, May 7th. The receptionist was able to schedule the next morning with Gary at 8 AM. He did an incredible job fixing our door and installed new wheels in less than an hour. I highly recommend you use Precision if you want quality workmanship done.

Steer clear - false advertising on their website. They say same day service, no extra fees. I called, they said they could not get out until the next day unless I paid $143.00 for emergency service in addition to the prices for the repairs.

Precision was recommended by coworkers via quick e-mail. First time with a broken garage (cables, springs, rollers) and would not open once closed. Technician (Kevin) arrived very timely, communicating prior to his arrival. He wore his mask, was very personable and professional, explained what happened, providing cost and repair options to meet our needs and got to work right away. It was clear that Kevin was familiar with the trade. He had the right tools and parts and explained the details of what was repaired upon finishing including warranties, life cycles and preventive maintenance to prolong the life of the moving parts. When my garage door cable broke, the door wouldnt close, which is a security risk anywhere in Albuquerque. I called Precision Garage Door, whom Ive used before for tune ups. The technician came as scheduled and completed the job. He ensured everything worked to my satisfaction.

I backed my car into the rail of our garage door. It was VERY bent. Beyond repair. All I needed was one rail replaced. The repair guy that Precision sent, Jeff, said those rails are no longer made or sold. To replace all the railings would be over $900. He said a new door would only cost $1200. So he said he wanted us to replace the door. But then wed have mismatched garage doors. As soon as Jeff left I Googled the rail. They are easily found on the internet. I called another company. He said those rails are still made. Precision lied. The other company came out and replaced the rail in under 30 minutes. If you go with Precision they will try and sell you a whole new door. Customers beware.

One of the torsion springs on our garage door has been broken for quite awhile. We finally decided to get it fixed. We called Precision and were thrilled to find out they could come out the next day to fix it. Corey came out, diagnosed the issue and made sure everything else was working properly. He had the garage door up and running in about an hour for a fair price. I would definitely recommend Precision if you need any work done on your garage door!

I had a new garage door opener installed about 2 years ago by Tiler. He did a great job. Yesterday, my wife indicated that the door didnt always go down (it went part way, then back up). So, I called Precision and much to my delight, Tiler had an opening and came over. It turned out that I had bumped the sender unit on the bottom of the door and knocked it slightly out of alignment.Tiler checked out everything, gave me some good advice on keeping everything in good order, and did a great job. Great service. Easy to call and schedule. Reasonable call out fee. They let you pick the best time for you and let you know when theyre on the way. Jeff was friendly and fast. The problems that need attention were remote died and was not working, keypad was mounted on the wrong side of garage, remotes and keypad reprogrammed differently. Than I call the company and the manager was telling me is my problem because I do not have any guarantee. Just installed 4 years ago and got broken in two parts so any job they will do for you. Appointment scheduled very quick. Technician arrived on time. Needed to replace 2 torsion springs and repair opener that was over traveling while opening and closing. Technician was pushing to get new opener installed instead of actually troubleshoot, determine root cause and repair.I am extremely disappointed that I ended up with a new opener without even knowing what exactly was bad with the old opener. Technician wasn’t able to tell and explain the issue: motor, board?? I proved sprocket wasn’t the issue as he told me first.Based on my experience, please just be aware if you call for a repair they will try to sell you a unit instead of repair yours.

Mario and Robert did a fantastic job installing my new door and opener. They were able to get to me before my scheduled time and called to make sure that would be ok. They were very professional and polite when they arrived and quickly got to work taking down my old broken door and opener and installing the fabulous new equipment. Do not use this Company, After 3 visits my Problem was not fixed . The technician told me 3 times i needed a new Motor . Being a pricey option i called another company to review my garage door an within 5-10 min he fixed my Problem needing no new Motor . I saw this as a Sales move by Precision Garage . I called the CO an spoke to GARY WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT MY ISSUE AN BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. . I will not be using Precision again. ZERO STARS was not an option.

Without a doubt, this is the Company to hire for your new or replacement garage door installation or service. As a homeowner for more than 35 years, I have had to deal with garage door companies many times for service, repairs, and new installations. The order was placed at the end of August 2020 with a knowledgeable representative who answered every question fully. I was told it would be 8 weeks. 7 Weeks later, I received a scheduling call for of all things - the next week. The crew of three arrived ON TIME and within an hour had my old doors (I have a double garage) removed. Over the next five hours the little army of well coordinated workers assembled, installed and tested my new doors. Amazing to watch. The icing however was the fact that the Owner, Gary Lange was onsite at the end to personally verify the workmanship. Five stars Gary for this unexpected level of customer service. Incompetent & irresponsible. Ordered very expensive Martin garage doors. Gary, the owner, took the measurements, ordered & installed the doors. They dont close flat. Top portion remains beveled, not closing all the way. Doors not centered to fit opening so bright silver metal bracket on door edge visible from top to bottom of opening. Cosmetic door hinges mounted in wrong place (after clear instruction to not put them close to side rubber flaps to avoid damage - mounted there anyway), wall remote doesnt work. After 2 months of angry emails & unreturned calls Gary returned to fix the wall remote & center the doors. Says hes unable to get the doors to close properly even though he took the measurements & installed the doors himself. Nothing but hostile name calling. Its the manufacturers fault, its the customers fault, or the floors not the right height! Tells me to just Learn to live with it. There are so many competent installers out there. This is not one of them. Avoid the aggravation... and doors that dont close. Zero stars would be more accurate.Reply to owner: This was not a communications problem. The doors dont even close. Pretty basic and obvious. Buyer beware. Dont let this happen to you.

We had Precision install our new garage door and opener two years ago, and it is still the quietest door weve ever had. I needed an additional garage door opener to replace one Id lost (my reason for todays visit), and they took care of me quickly and thoroughly, guiding me through the steps to sync my new opener with the garage unit. Ive used other garage door companies in Albuquerque prior to having Precision do our replacement door and equipment, but Ill never call anyone else but them for repairs or replacements.

Easily the best service experience we’ve had in ABQ. When the spring went out on our garage door we thought about replacing anything from just the spring to the whole door, and called Precision for an in-person estimate. Gary was prompt and personable for our consultation, describing our (many!) repair and purchase options with no pressure. Ultimately we decided to replace everything but the door itself – opener, spring, cables, rollers, etc. Our budget is tight, but Precision prices are competitive, plus we’re willing to pay a little extra for guarantees on parts and labor, and for excellent service. Gary was able to do the work right then, surprisingly quickly, and he even threw in some new weather stripping at no extra charge. Before leaving he made sure we were both present, to walk us through safety features and operation of our new opener, remotes and keypad. We’re very happy with our new opener, and would recommend Precision to anyone!

The door was installed quickly after a three week order time frame. After a few openings and closings the door did not work well. It was noisy, the weather stripping was twisted, the frame shook when the door was raised. Precision sent a technician out 2 days after I called and complained. They sent Jeff (who originally bid the job).He had to make several adjustments on a single size door. I wish that Jeff had been the installer in the first place. So lesson learned, if you want an excellent experience be sure to ask for Jeff.

Tyler was terrific and very professional. He diagnosed several issues with the older door and system on the house we just purchased. Now, we have working remotes, and a MUCH better working, and quieter, door. We would highly recommend Precision.

Another excellent experience with Precision. My opener went out on a Friday evening and I had the option of a replacement that evening or waiting until Monday. I opted for Monday and Lorenzo showed up bright and early with the new opener and had it installed in minimum time. Thorough instruction on the working of the new opener coupled with quick service and clean up made for a highly satisfactory install and overall transaction. Highly recommend.

Recieved a call directly from owner after issues over the phone with answering service. He was very respectful and listened to my concerns.Asked to talk with answering service to clarify potential future issues with customers. He agreed to do so. I trust that he will.For reference you cannot install certain aftermarket products such as MyQ smart garage door opener device to certain (if not all) precision garage door products).

I have done business with Precision Garage Door for several years and spent several thousand dollars with them. I was very disappointed today when they could not get back to me for 1.5 hours to tell me that they were unable to service my sliding gate. I totally understand that they do not work on gates but I thought it would have been courteous to let me know sooner so that I could find someone else to do the job. I called back later to speak to the owner, Gary, and to my surprise he yelled at me and told me that I was insulting him. I pointed out to him that I was trying to explain to him that I would have liked to have been called back by one of his staff instead of having to wait for his call back to tell me that they would not be able to service the sliding gate.If Gary had acknowledged that, yes, we should have called back sooner, I would have been fine with that response.But yelling at me and accusing me of insulting him was over the top. I was upset when I spoke to him but I did not yell and I did not use any foul language. I thought that as the owner of the business, he would be better at responding to a clients concern/complaint as well as acknowledging that I have been a paying customer that has given them plenty of business in the past. I will no longer use them and will be calling Overhead Door (who I used in the past) to take care of my garage door needs and well as my gate repair.

Tyler was courteous, prompt and explained everything that was wrong with our garage door. He was able to fix the door with no problem. I would give him 5 stars! A job well done.

A spring was broken on my old garage door, and I decided to replace the door and the opener. I was very much impressed by the speed and efficiency of the two workers, Kevin and Robert. I would not hesitate to recommend them and the company.

Precision was at our house less than 2 hours after calling to make an appointment! Matt Papas was very friendly and super fast in servicing both of our garage doors and replacing all the rollers. This was our second time using Precision and they are fantastic!!

Craig and his team are amazing - our old garage opener units sounded like they would wake up the neighborhood if we used them and the new ones they put in work like a charm. They are professional and so easy to work with. My 2 year old son especially loved watching them work and they were super engaging with him, which was much appreciated!

Theyve kept our 35 year old door operating well without having to replace the door itself. Weve called them out twice over the years for major emergencies and both times we were very pleased with the quality of the work. Both times I expected it to cost way more than it did, theyre very fair in their pricing for parts and labor. Will not hesitate to call them again if we need door repair or replacement.

Kevin came out the same day I called, even earlier than scheduled. He was professional and installed the springs and bearings within 45 minutes. I didnt have to wait days for service and this was terrific. The cost was a bit high but worth the quick fix. Thank you Kevin!
