Love this place. Went in to look at Shotguns and found one that my son liked. Pricing was great and the staff is always friendly and informative. The options are always great and plenty. They sell quality items and have a great team to ensure youre getting what you want. Definitely will be purchasing again from them.

Absolutely great experience with BMC Tactical. I recently made two purchases and the staff was very helpful and I received my purchases very fast. Hands down BMC is one of my greatest finds for my tactical needs! Alissa, Chris, and Ben have all been absolutely great to deal with over the phone. I love to talk, and apparently they do too, lol. This is my absolute favorite shop in Albuquerque. Ive been to quite a few and BMC had made me feel more welcome than any other, especially as a female. Everyone was very helpful and inviting. I appreciate BMC Tactical and will forever shop here.

3/31/2020 Love the family atmosphere and have been going here for years. I highly recommend BMC Tactical. Stopped by today to just look around and ended up buying 2 more amazing guns. With what is going on they still have a decent amount of common ammo and a very nice selection of handguns and ARs in stock. Please support this family owned local business in these trying times.

This is the best gun shop in Albuquerque. Friendly staff, great environment. Selection is vast and prices are absolutely fair. No gouging. I will be shopping here from now on. The only thing that would make it better is a military/first responder discount.

The best gun store in all NM in my opinion. Fair on prices, and offers discounts. He only keeps great quality gun parts. As for the guns, he has a variety as required but he does keep the low quality weapons to the bare minimum which is good. He had older Kimbers and stop when they started to lower the quality then started selling them again when they picked up the quality again. He stays up to date with everything he can. Everyone is very knowledgeable. And they also have some of the best weapon painting people. They keep 2-4 painted weapons on display to see and are fairly priced on painting as well!

Great gun store, that have a lot of everything and the prices were fair. The one thing that really got to me was their customer service. I got a really awful person one the phone when asking about prices, and someone in the store sounded so annoyed about a certain pistol I was asking for. This was just my experience and I’m hoping it was just a bad for this store.

They made my experience so pleasant. Very knowledgeable guys. Attentive and patient ppl. I will definitely be shopping here again!

Very disappointing and a waste of time. Went to get a new rifle and no employee there shows any interest to earn business. Waited at counter 20 minutes trying to get process started and was never greeted or even acknowledged. Employees were too busy making small talk with each other and other friends instead of earning business. Surprised they take risks against fines with state inspections not following cdc guidelines.

Wide variety of parts from reputable manufucters, reasonable prices. The only downside is that theyre staffed by the usual type of old folks who will give you the stink eye and treat you with open disdian if you cant fondly remember the Jurassic period. Try to find a younger guy behind the counter, it usually makes for a more pleasant experience.

Hands down this is the best gun shop I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to countless others across the country buying firearms for over 25 years. The selection at BMC is second to none even during the pandemic and current threat of anti 2A legislation being passed. The shelves are always stocked with the most interesting and top shelf firearms such as the FN Scar, B&T, even beautiful Henry rifles and everything in between. There’s also a great selection of parts for ARs, AKs, and the ammo to match whatever firearm you choose. They carry knives, handguns and any parts you can dream of for rifles and pistols. You can’t go wrong with BMC. The staff is friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable and will do their absolute best getting what you need. You can’t ask for any more. These guys excel where other shops fall far short.

After a long time favorite of mine closed I was looking for a local place that treated me the same way. Especially after an experience I had at another shop that was terrible!I knew what I wanted because I did my homework.The employee who approached asked me if I needed assistance, not my husband.The worst mistake a shop employee can make in a firearm store is assume Im clueless.I got what I had my sites on and will definitely reach out to them on future purchases!

Transferred my gun here. People were very friendly as well as customers that were there shopping. Except for the younger girl that was working the register. She was very short and rude with us when we asked her questions. Like it bothered her that we asked her something. Shop was pretty busy but they were all being helped. Theres two cute pitbulls there that are very friendly. I got some cool stuff here. Plus some free Trump signs!! Ill be back in for some more stuff!

Horrible experience gotta bunch of wanna be Rambos, cant even answer basic questions . I went to RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS off Montgomery an Juan tabo. I spent my $1,800 bucks here instead.

Recently had some work done to rebuild an AR-15 from another place out of state and had some really terrible work. Came here from a recommendation from a buddy to have it looked over and immediately got answers and help and within a small amount of time had it fixed properly along with some nice upgrades. Their armorers really know what they are doing and I highly recommend them.

The place is pretty nice, an ok selection also does custom work. Also, have a nice dog. The reason I only gave 4 stars, is the website is pretty horrible, it seems like they dont even try to have products they have on there. I know I can buy any firearm, have it sent here for me to pick up and finish purchase procedures. However, I like to see what is on hand. So I dont have to drive 20 minutes to see nothing I am interested in.

Expect delays if doing an FFL transfer. I saw several reviews saying that, but was hoping they were just unlucky. Unfortunately, it seems they regularly delay FFL transfers by multiple days. Despite calling and going to the store several times, on the third day I told them I would wait for them to do the check-in, and finally was able to pick up my property. At this point the fee they charged me was more than I had been told over the phone the week before ($25 vs $15) but I was just happy to be done at that point. Also no one working at the store was using a mask.Two stars since they do appear to have a good selection of firearms and ammo, but if you are doing an FFL transfer I would not go here.

Not a good place to use as an FFL if you need anything delivered to you. Had a Rifle over nighted to me for an extra $200. Was not contacted by BMC to be informed it had arrived. After contacting the manufacturer and confirming it was delivered. I called to see if I could come pick it up, the employee took my number and assured me Id be called back in 30 minutes. He never called. 4 hours later I drove to the store and waited in line for 30 minutes. I dealt with three employees while there. One being super polite and helpful. The other two being very rude, and both appeared super bugged by the fact they were having any business at all. They informed me that they would not transfer the rifle over to me for 48 to 72 hours. As they where behind on transfers and where too busy to open my package, confirm the rifle was in the package and enter the serial number into their books. All of which could of been completed while I was completing my paperwork and background check. Rather they informed me tranfers where done on a first come, first serve basis and that I was SOL on my $200 shipping fee. Weird. I thought standing in front of your register counted as first come. It felt like I was in a Californian gun store. Anyway, after leaving without my Rifle, I called around to some of the other Gun stores here in ABQ to see if they where backlogged on transfers aswell. NOT A SINGLE one said they where behind on transfers. ALL said that receiving a firearm and logging it into the store was no more than a 10 min process. ALL said that while the stores where indeed busy, they could of easily transferred my rifle to me the day it arrived. Perhaps BMC places more importance on the larger profits coming from all the nervous first time gun buyers I saw standing in line, rather than the profits they can get off of a transfer fee. When hard times come, BMC is completely unwilling to work with you and try to get your property to you. HOWEVER the folks over at The Right To Bear Arms, Omni Arms, ABQ guns and The Shooters Den seemed more than willing to help you out. I recommend doing your business with them.

These guys are great. I have a fairly extensive hunting rifle background but as close to zero AR-15 background as a person can possibly get. These guys patience with stupid questions was absolutely boundless. They know their stuff and love to share. I wouldnt buy any AR related gear anywhere else. Thanx guys.

Excellent shop...some the best group of guys I have meet in a long time...they never pressure you into buying anything in fact I find myself sitting there after I buy something to shot the breeze with them...they have an armorer that has over 30 years of experience and an awesome inventory of top notch items...and not just the high priced items but also quality and affordable items as well....

Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have ARs on display that were painted by a guy they have in house. They are fantastic! The best part is that they are still functional after being painted.

I went there with a question with my rifles performance, the Armourer checked it over and sent me home with a solution and no charge... That is unheard of is this day and age. it was worth the trip

Disappointing experience. I was shopping for a Glock brand firearm. I told the sales person I was a corrections officer. Sales person did not explain there was a discount from Glock for law enforcement. Quoted me the everyday price.
