This is one of my favorite gun stores. They have the ammo I need at a great price. Have come here multiple times and will continue to come here. For guns and ammo. Their selection is great from shotguns, rifles and pistols. Range ammo and hunting rounds all the way to home defense rounds. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Made a purchase here today, the salesman (Neil) was extremely helpful. He showed me everything that matched what I was looking for, from inexpensive to top dollar, explaining everything about each as we went along, he was very knowledgeable. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they were a very welcoming group of people. Thanks guys!

Great place. When no one else has what you want, these guys probably have it! They wouldnt throw in a box of shells for my shotgun, but I wouldnt buy lunch either...lol

JCT is a welcome resource for all gun owners between Old Town and the Southwest side of Albuquerque. The staff is extremely polite and knowledgeable, and the store doesnt seem to project any strong sense of political bias one way or the other. As of the time this review was written they had the most plentiful and diversified selection of ammo Ive seen in town since pre-2020, and all the weirdness that year implies. JCTs ammo prices are still about 50 percent higher than what they were pre-pandemic/election, but thats understandably more of a measured market response on their part than than anything else.

Purchased what was supposed to be a brand new Beretta 3032 Covert from JCT off of Gunbroker. They sent me a gun that has very obviously had at least a few hundred rounds through it. I reached out to them through various channels, multiple times. They have completely ignored all of my inquiries. Emails, unanswered. Phone just rings and rings, then disconnects. Based on other reviews, Im not the first, and I doubt Ill be the last. Do you want to be next?

So, these guys are a true treasure for our town, with recent shortages on ammunition. It was hard to find the rounds I was looking for and these guys have had them through the entire pandemic!

Waxing on ammo prices. Went twice and they charged more than the price listed on the box. Possibly the highest prices in town on ammo. Lots of firearms though definitely a solid selection.

Wish I could put negative stars!!! Talk about price gouging! I understand ammo is in short supply but a supposedly legitimate business shouldnt be ripping its customers off!

The gentleman I dealt with for my purchase (the man with the gun in back holster) was great. He asked for my price range I wanted to spend, was able to answer all my specific questions, and was knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice selection of guns and actually had ammo in stock. The guns I was considering to purchase were averagely priced based on some of the research I did prior to going, albeit on the high end but it wasnt too excessive so I made the purchase and was pleased with it. I only have one bone to pick, Im fairly certain that the bigger dude with I believe it was the canik on his side, was trying to over charge and price gouge me on the ammo. The gentleman who I will be going back to see told me the ammo was around $40, which was kinda expensive but due to the extreme shortage I was ok with paying and that bigger guy cut him off and told me $50, which automatically turned me off from buying them. A couple weeks later I came back because my other place was out of ammo and that big dude straight up told me $80 for the fiochi ammo he recommended and when I told him he said it was $50 last time, he said it went up and he told me the sigs were similarly priced and I felt as if he didnt really want to tell me about the other ammo they had in stock for my caliber and now I know why. Thank God this always respectful and nice older gentleman rung me up because I ended up paying $80 for 2 boxes instead of one like he was saying and what do ya know the reg ammo was going for around $40 like the other guy originally told me. I left feeling like he was trying to take me for all I got and kinda angry honestly. Ill go back there because the other men were really great, but I will wait hours if need be just so I dont have to deal with that greedy fool. And by the looks of the reviews, hes trying to burn other people like that too, if it werent for the other gentlemen, I wouldnt be going back!!!!! He almost deterred me from buying anything at all, I cant stand people who are greedy and try to take advantage thats not a good way to win over a customer...

Ive never had a bad experience at JCT. Ive always been able to find the ammo that I am looking for at a fair price. Definitely one of my favorite shops. The staff that Ive dealt with have always been helpful.

I was not very impressed and I knew the chances were slim that the specific item I was looking for would be available.I did my research and knew exactly what I wanted.That being said once we were looking in the case where it would be the person behind the counter asked me if I saw the item. Then the is this It? game started from the employee.Wont be going back there.

JCT Arms screwed my GunBroker order up! Item description said I was buying Window PMAGs but they shipped something different. Called and emailed several times before I was able to get someone on the phone. A month later Al said hes gonna make it right, hopefully itll happen, well see.

Ordered a handgun off of gun broker on Jan 6th. Never received any communication from the store after purchasing. I had to reach out to them a week later after contacting my local gun shop to exchange FFL info. I still couldn’t get ahold of anyone at this store. I sent an email to the contact listed on gun broker requesting a refund if I did not hear from them by the end of the week. My gun shop reached out to me the next day stating they had sent the FFL info and JCT received it. I again contacted the info given on gun broker and this was nearly two weeks later. A guy Named Al told me I was good to go and the lady in the back was boxing it up as we were speaking and getting ready to ship it. I had specified in an email that since communication was made to disregard the refund request and to carry on with the order. Almost 4 days later I called again asking to speak to James Tafoya since I was not receiving a tracking link as promised after the sale and was told someone would get back to me with more info. A day later I got a call from AL and he told me they had already processed my refund almost 2 weeks ago and that whoever told me the gun was supposed to ship to me lied and the gun was already resold to someone else....this is unacceptable communication. Not sure who is running things over there but they never responded to a single email and they were near impossible to reach. Being told I was good to go a week after cancelling the refund only to find out they processed the refund anyway is complete horse....This store is a joke, I would advise you stay away from it. I get better communication from my dead family members. If I could rate zero I would. I know have $730.00 floating around in the mail somewhere since they couldn’t refund me back on the card I used for some reason? They told me a check was being sent and I should receive it in a couple days...Well it’s been 3 days and no check. Guess I lost $730.00. Either way a lawyer will have to get involved I think since I believe my money was stolen and I didn’t get to purchase my gun. This place is a complete joke. Someone tell James Tafoya to maybe answer an email or get engaged with the customer...being told every time I call that he comes in at 2pm and 4pm is a cop out. Answer your emails and get engaged with the customer. could’ve avoided this hassle.

Good prices, beautiful 9mm taurus g2c for 279 stainless steel with 2 12 round clips. Of course you can buy cheaper online but I dont really like buying guns online. The price of your gun is the price of my life so I guess mine is 270 because I have NO complaints. Couldnt be happier!!

I made a purchase from JCT guns from gun broker. I purchased two boxes of 44 cal projectiles and they never shipped them. I have reached out several times to try to get the problem resolved and they have yet to contact me back. They are a bunch of scamming crooks!

Bought Sig 9m on Tuesday. Returned on thursday due to slide release did not work correctly, gun was never fired. Ask for an exchange. Didnt have same gun, so I asked for a refund. He would not refund the whole amount paid. Ill never go back there again. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!! Poor service.

Every time I want to check out their shop they are closed. These guys don’t like to wake up early. They are lazy which makes me believe they certainly lack in many other areas. Don’t do business with these guys. Waiting to see how long it take for them to go out of business.

Extremely over priced ammo, 50 Rounds of blazer 9mm for 50 dollars. You’re better off ordering online or going to sportsmans warehouse and buying ammo for way cheaper than what these guys are trying to sell it for

This is a great gun shop staff is great prices are really good right there with online fair for sure it doesn’t get much better always treated me and my wife good purchase have been great have a lot of items you won’t catch at other gun shops like imports and more special items that you look for I would recommend you go in and bring you cash you won’t walk out empty handed
