Great prices, I often find thier pricing better than even Amazon, together with a great friendly and knowledgeable staff, thier my go to store!!!

I’m a new grower and did a lot of research before I started gardening about a month ago. I needed some supplies and didn’t have any gumption for the risks Amazon carries so I looked for a local shop for my needs. Low and behold I found these guys and let me tell you all the positive reviews are true! Nathan and David are wizards at this stuff. They knew off the top of their head any inquiry I threw at them. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and the prices are in line with Amazon. No need to worry about packages getting stolen or buying something blind without seeing it first. The selection is top notch and interesting too! (Ask to see the carnivorous plant that eats bugs).I also used some of the Fox fertilizers from here on my trees and yard plants and they look fantastic...so much so that I have to either prune or stake the tree on the side of the house because it bloomed so much. A few months ago I thought it was dead! Do yourself a favor and check these guys out!

This is the only place I buy my soil and plant supply from. The staff here are very informative and helpful. I am of course coming back soon!

After my hydroponic store closed I had to find a new place for supplies.This establishment was recommended by a friend.From the moment I walked in I was in heaven.I went in for net pots and came out with another grow light, fertilizer and rocks.The live plants they have are beautiful. I asked how much they were and was told they weren’t for sale. Then the clerk said that she would be glad to give me a cutting. It is now at home and doing well.The technical support on the items I bought was top notch.I wish I could remember the representatives name, she was great.I’ll be back

Very kind people, the most educated and historical gardening supplies center in albuquerque, ever since it big stores came in and took Rowlands away and anything like that AHL has been the only place to go for quality locally. and from beginners to expert (although we are all always still learning something lol) they can help you and will with a smile. Dont feel anxious like some stores (on san mateo) might make you feel or like you cant ask questions they encourage it actually and seem to really enjoy helping customers with whatever your needs or whether youre growing mushrooms for your salads or your standard vegetable garden outdoor or maybe some indoor cannabis plants. Everything from CO2 systems lighting feeding regimens what kind of food what will work best for what kind of system everything from aeroponics, sorry about spelling, lol to hydroponics to soil and all of the newest tech as well.You can go and feel comfortable asking questions and with the prices as well as knowing that when you get home you will be happy and so will your ladies.I have been going to AHL for almost 20 years, wow I feel old. I revisited recently and they are just as nice and helpful. I would never order online or go elsewhere. I always get what I need, local if I want even, I am supporting a local business that has amazing values and takes care of customers.As I said for 20 years I have depended on them for quality, fair pricing, advise from experts, and it has led me to be a better grower. My gardens flourish, and my cannabis tents as well. They are always friendly and offer 100% Organic means of boosting and keeping your garden healthy, or if you prefer mainstream like fox farms and others they have it! They have a 40 station cloner for like 50 bucks right now and it works so well. I get all of my castings, my fixings for my compost teas when needed. Lights, and like i said if you have questions they are amazing and can help you with such an abundance of knowledge.I personally feel like I am a experienced to professional grower however every time I go into and have a conversation with one of the gentleman, I believe Nathan is the one who helped me last and he was great but I always learn something new despite having wonderful outcomes Im always learning more about new tech as well as just standard ways of doing things. I can proudly say that I feel comfortable calling myself a green thumb and AHL and my experience and experimentation has been responsible for thatlargely.

The reason this place is the only to go to is because of the managers and staff...they are really good people and take the time to get to know thier regular customers even enough to remember your name and do whatever they can to help you find what you need... very knowledgeable and professional Id give them 10 starts if I could if your looking for a go to store for your gardening needs this place is the one to go to. There are closer shops to my home that sell the same products as here but I go out of my way bc the difference is night and day when it comes to making sure the customer is provided with the knowledge of products to help you find what you need

First time going here, it was a good experience. Great products and they had the soil I was looking for. They have this huge Ivy plant that will blow ur mind at the size of it. If you need grow supplies AHL is a great starting place!

Went in to get parts to repair a ballast. They had the parts I needed and were helpful and friendly. I was able to fix the ballast myself but they offered to help repair it with no issues in case I was unable to.

I hate coming to this place and won’t be back one of the most racist places you can go if your not white. Walked in with a white buddy they greeted him but didnt greet me acted like i was invisible but said hi to everyone that walked in then it was time to check out I had to ask these people to help me instead of them asking me this while I’m standing at the register waiting for five minutes to be helped wasn’t the first time I was treated like this but it will be the last time
