My first project using a live edge slab wasnt sure how it would turn out was quite happy with the end result. Metro millwork has a great assortment of slabs to choose from.

Dont feel bad about not being able to do the sawing for the lumber I brought in. I found a woman in the south valley who can do it for about the same price.

Great cuts of wood all different sizes, wouldnt reccomend working here though.

Was a huge waste of time. Set up a meeting to see about materials. Arrived and no one was at the property or answering phone calls. Waited half hour. Called back several times to finally be told I would have to wait 3 months. Other mills in town were much more help. I definitely showed up and walked around the property near the corner of comanche and Broadway for about half hour. Knocked on the doors of your small building.

I was looking for some wood to fool around with. I wanted to learn to cut dovetail joints. I didnt have any goal -- maybe a bird house or jewelry box. Most of the stuff they had was way too thick for my uses, but we found a few pieces that I can try to resaw on my bandsaw. This is the place if you want big wood for table tops or spectacular architectural features...
