Went to drop off an Amazon with a pre paid UPS label. Followed the directions from Amazon as stated in the email. Was informed that I would not be able to mail from their location without purchasing a box from them, starting at $12.00. Now I get it, they have to make a profit somehow, but making up false directions isn’t how to do it.

I would like to share my experienced to everyone. I returned items to this UPS store. I accidentally left my small pouch wallet. I have cash and I have my important cards in there. The person named Bill who I believe work there is a very honest, very helpful and he is always friendly to everyone. He absolutely saved my day for returning my wallet. Only few people like Bill. I truly appreciate your kindness. Thanks again, Bill.

$2.00 to open a file and + .50 or .60 to print. Are they insane? This is for one piece of paper. Only books of stamps. I guess u less you are sending a UPS pre paid label this place is the worst and most expensive. I will never use UPS again to ship anything. That is sad they charge so much for nothing. Especially when theres FedEx, Staples, Office Depot and they dont charge rediculus amounts for their services. And on top the employee only mentioned it because I asked. She was perfectly happy to have had me email her a page to print and try and charge me almost $3. I should have let her so it then tell her no and have wasted her time and supplies. Rediculus. Bad company and customer service.

This store has great service on everything.They have a notary who assists with my legal documentation.I do not print color documents often enough at my home office to prevent the printer ink from drying out, so I have all my color documents printed at this UPS Store. In the long run, it saves me money since I do not need to buy the various color ink cartridges. The color prints always look beautiful since they have very high-quality printers.If a package for me is delivered from UPS, FedEx or the USPS, and it requires a signature, the team members are there to sign for it so I will be able to pick up the package at my convenience when I come to get my mail.The new management at this location keeps the store open for business on Sundays, which is convenient if I have a package to retrieve and/or I need some of their services at the last minute before my Monday morning meeting.Since I have a business mailbox at the UPS store, I have all my packages delivered there so the porch pirates strike out at my home.I like it better than a PO Box since UPS, FedEx and the USPS will deliver to a UPS store, 7 days a week – that is not the case for a PO Box.The store at Tramway & Central is located right next door to many businesses which makes it very convenient for me when I come to get my mail.I am always greeted with a smile. The associates are trained on every task so the high efficiency of the services make my time more productive.They have a multitude of shipping boxes, materials and packaging expertise. Therefore, when I travel for business, I use this UPS Store to package and ship my needed items to the destination city. I ask them to ship to the hotel or a nearby UPS store so when I arrive to the destination, I can retrieve the items prior to my meetings. This has been a huge time-saver and makes the travel preparation more cost effective for me.Frances, Jessica, Bell, Kayla and Francesco make a great team and back each other up to ensure the customers get great service. I see them work together with customers every time I visit the store.I’ve been renting a box there for 23 years and notice the services get better each year!Since we no longer have a FAX machine at our business, we can send & receive FAX’s at the UPS store. If they receive a FAX for me, I ask them to scan and email it to me so it saves me a trip to retrieve the FAX document; and I get it immediately no matter where I am.Two years ago, I needed to travel outside the country on a family vacation. I was able to get my passport photos from the UPS team at Central & Tramway.When I need a large colorful banner for marketing my company (for a trade show or similar), I create the file with PowerPoint and then email the file (as a PDF) to the UPS store. The next day the large banner is complete, rolled up and ready for my use.

Jan is a hard working individual who deserves respect. She deals with a great deal of problematic customers in a very matter of fact way. If you are kind and respectful to her, she is kind and respectful to you. I think we all need to stop thinking we can treat people poorly and deserve respect in return. Be kind to others, it will take you a very long way in life. I have been a customer for over six years now and have never had a problem with any staff. How is that?? Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Try it. It works. Attitude is everything.

We use this UPS store often to ship and send back. However this week when we walked up we were approached by a lady asking us for $30 in exchange for her coat. After working all day and paying for what we have legitimately this just doesnt sit well with us. Not stores fault but they definitely need to be aware of this type of activity outside.

Since the new ownership I don’t have my own mailbox; my packages and mail are piled up in a stack of other people’s packages. They signed for one of my packages then lost it. The staff was unwilling to try to find my package and told me to wait 3-4 days for it to show up. I won’t be renewing my mailbox. Terrible service.

I love UPS and prefer it to the post office. Every time I go into one of the UPS stores, there is always a happy and helpful employee who takes care of the Amazon return (I shop on Amazon a lot) or other business-related things. Today I decided to go to the UPS store location close to my home. The employee at the UPS ForHill location had the worst attitude; he was rude, and I felt unwelcome. I did the usual thing, leaving the box on the counter and politely said that I needed to return the package to Amazon. The man asked me to put the return label in a plastic holder, which was fine (but I have never been asked to do this before), and I thought nothing more of it. When the UPS employee was finished closing up the package, he said we were all set. I asked if he could please give me a receipt since this is important in case the package gets lost, he did so with the grumpiest attitude. I am not the most fragile person and do not need special treatment of any kind, but I do appreciate good customer service. I think I will go to one of the UPS stores close to my office from now on.

Definite improvement! When I first started doing business at this location last summer, I completely understood why this location got such bad reviews within my first 5 minutes of being there. However, it appears UPS realized this problem and got some new managment and staff and theyve been working hard to make this location a better business. I am greeted when I come and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will continue to do business here and feel they really trying to bring this place up.

I have been making copies and shipping packages from this UPS store for years. Jan and her staff are always professional and very helpful. I particularly like the option of purchasing a copy card for self-service copies- its quite a bargain. For me, this is the most convenient and friendly UPS store in Abq.

Wouldnt accept my return package because of superficial damage to the box. item being returned had already lost all value. cost of a new box was equal to the cost of the item being returned. the cashier was very nice and let me use their dumpster. some responses from the owner are rather petty and honestly creepy, so Ill make a point to use other locations in the future.

Older lady with short curly hair is mean and rude. Never friendly, I go there frequently to shop packages and once I needed a single piece of tape and she threw a fit saying they have to buy their own tape because they are independently franchised. The rest of the staff seems nice enough but seem to be on edge when she is around. I go to the ups on Wyoming when I can afford the time because of her.

Ive only been here a few times, and the most recent time will be my last. The times when I drop a box off, they seem to have a really big issue with providing a receipt, saying that my tracking number is my receipt. No, a tracking number is a tracking number. What I want is a confirmation that I dropped it off with you. The lady there gave a poor excuse that they are in independently-owned franchise, and that they dont have to provide a receipt. Guess what? Even franchises have to follow rules. I called the UPS customer service number, and they confirmed that if a customer asks for a receipt, the UPS franchise should provide one. How is it that every other competitor can do this, even other UPS stores, but for whatever reason these guys cant figure it out.

I was shocked by the absolute disregard for customer service at this UPS Store location. The woman working behind the counter does not make eye contact, has a terrible attitude, and made countless comments that displayed a total and utter lack of business acumen. When I left, I truly felt as if I had just interacted with the most miserable employees. I will not be returning to this location and will only be visiting the Wyoming location moving forward.

This UPS store is a great place to mail packages and boxes, to scan and print important papers, and to send messages. The store also has cute cards for sale, and many paper products. The people who work in the UPS store are always friendly and helpful.

I need it for contracts who require Receipt. then I say in just going to email the picture of the Receipt and I dont want the coupon they are sticking it to. its a waste of paper. says store policy. AVOID this location. Went in to have a defective product shipped back to Amazon. I didnt have enough tape for the box so I asked the the woman running the counter to tape it and they told me it would be $5. Every other UPS Store Ive been in has quoted me $1 per 2ft of tape. When I brought this up the woman rudely told me that was their price and if I didnt like it to just buy some tape and do it myself. I did that and then I asked for a drop off receipt. She told to go online and find it through Amazon. When I countered that this monitor was expensive and I just wanted proof that I had dropped it off in case something happened to the shipment she responded by saying that it was my responsibility to keep track of these things. Im sorry buy these are basic shipping courtesies and I dont understand why the staff acts like the customers imposing ridiculous demands. Save yourself a hassle and go somewhere else.

Rude staff! I personally print out my own postage from their site and just drop it off. The point of that is to not wait in the long lines. At least that want I was told. I will be going to the other office in Albuquerque from now on. They are much nicer!

I have to agree with some of the negative reviews of this place, though I’d stop short of calling the employees “rude.” Although the hours are great, and make dropping off packages very convenient, it is very obvious that the employees are not interested in people like me who aren’t funneling money into their company by shipping with them, or using their other services. Every single time I go into the store with a package, I ask for a drop-off receipt. Every single time, I am told that my tracking number is my receipt. This is total BS. I don’t know about you, but I have had packages go through the entire shipment process without ever having an update logged in the tracking system. My worst fear is that I will drop off a package, not get a receipt showing that I dropped it off, and then it will get lost. Let me ask you something UPS Store: If I drop off my package with you, and I don’t get a drop-off receipt, and then UPS loses the package, and there is no tracking information, how the heck am I supposed to prove to UPS that I ever dropped the package off to you?I just dropped a package off today at this location, and asked the employees there the very same question. They looked at me like I was an idiot, and repeated several times that the tracking number is my receipt. Either they didn’t understand what I was trying to tell them (not likely... I doubt they’re stupid), or - more likely - the owner hates paying for the paper to print drop-off receipts. Sorry, but that’s just the cost of doing business. Bad reviews aren’t worth saving a little bit of money on paper.Stop giving me a hard time about asking for drop-off receipts, or get out of the business of accepting packages for drop off for UPS. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, even after all of the bad customer reviews. I was always kind to the employees. The two younger ladies were very pleasant, HOWEVER the manager is absolutely intolerable. I go in to drop off prepaid packages for my local business at 6:29. I understand it’s a bit of s crunch, but if your hours are from 10:00 to 6:30 then those are the hours you work and provide services, simple as that! I was then promptly told that they had already done the paper work and were not accepting any more packages, as I see the driver loading up boxes behind the counter. I was also told that they accept packages “until now” not 6:30 but when it was convenient for them. SHE ALSO CALLED ME RUDE FOR DROPPING PACKAGES OFF AT 6:29?! If you would like to be treated with respect and kindness, AVOID this place at all costs. I can not stress that enough.

An unfortunate experience. A piece of tape long enough to seal a prepaid return box would be a very good investment in good customer relations. To charge $2+tax for a 30 inch length of tape is price gouging, plain and simple. I will make sure that everyone I know who uses UPS knows about this practice at this store. I advise everyone to avoid this store and its rude employees. There are plenty of other UPS locations in town with more helpful employees - be sure to use those. Reward the good, avoid the bad.

Extremely rude staff. I asked for a receipt when dropping off a package and was told the tracking number was my receipt. When I explained that I just wanted proof that I had delivered the package to the store for return, the employee told me if I didnt like it, I could take my package to the real UPS location because this was a locally owned store. I just wanted a receipt, it only takes 20 seconds to print it out. I dont see the need for such hostility.

Simply very rude employees. I came to drop off a pre-paid package that I had not tapped the label onto. I understand that they do not get paid for these, but I was told very unprofessionaly. This is the only UPS Store that I have issues with ... staff seems to come and go from this store but they all seem to exhibit the same lack of customer service (rude, argumentative and abrupt) and my thought is it all stems from the owner. They will absolutely argue with you about providing a drop-off package receipt. I went in on Saturday and the man behind the counter started to argue with me when I asked for a drop-off package receipt ... he started his canned response of you should already have the tracking information, when I cut him off and equally abruptly informed him that I did not need a tracking receipt, but I wanted a drop-off package receipt showing that I had indeed dropped the package off at this UPS Store. I insist on this because this store misplaced a package I had dropped off a few years back and ironically the store owner asked what proof I had that I had dropped it off. Needless to say, after that experience, I have insisted on drop-off package receipt. I try to use this location as little as possible, but every now and then I have to drop packages off there, even knowing that it is going to be a hassle every time. Stand your ground and ask for a receipt and if they refuse to provide it or give you a hard time, then report it to UPS Customer Service. Its ridiculous that this behavior has gone on for so long. If it weret for the location of the store, I think they would have been out of business a long time ago.

Jessica is rude and doesnt give out correct information. After I was told one thing and asked to call the customer service center I did, then when the customer service center called her she said stuff was already picked up and there was nothing she could do, she advised me that they dont get paid if they dont send packages back when they arent picked up in 5 days. So it sounds to me like she was more concerned about getting paid rather than giving me 1 more day to make it to a city that is an hour away and I have been unable to get there. Thanks Jessica for your obvious unconcern for customer service. you should in a different profession that doesnt need to have anything to do with helping people.... maybe go into collections so you can be a inconsiderate person like you really are.

The two women who work here are always so rude. Today I asked for a receipt and one of the women told me that they cant afford to give people receipts and the paper is too expensive. Once I dropped off a package without receipt and the item was never scanned. When I put the tracking info there was nothing as if I never dropped it off. It took so much time and effort and I was not able to receive a refund. If any of u two are reading this, anytime I go there, I WILL be given my receipt. If u cant afford the usual costs of running a business then maybe you should leave it to someone who can.The owner response is unacceptable. I will be reporting this business.

This place will nickel and dime you death. $2.50 to use a computer for less than five minutes and a quarter to print a single page.
