Trying to pick up a prescription with my grandma as she just left the oral surgeon getting teeth removed. Tech was immediately stand-offish when she asked me what she was prescribed (which was listed on the form I had JUST handed her), I’m assuming because it was a narcotic considering her immediate change in demeanor towards me. Tells me flatly it won’t be ready for 3.5 hours, I guess we’re doing ibuprofen until then.
Won’t refill my prescription no matter how many times I’ve called. I am out of that medication and this pharmacy genuinely doesn’t care if you live or die. They flat out ignored the fact that I had it on file, lied to my face that I’d never filled it there when that’s the only place I’ve ever gotten it from. Every person here would rather you die than do their job.
I called the pharmacy on Tuesday Sept 14 to have a prescription sent to my correct pharmacy..I was on hold for over an hour. I called the stores main line twice to speak with the manager, Josh, twice..Apparently the pharmacist had called in sick that day and the staff and other pharmacist were swamped. As a healthcare worker myself I understand working short. But there was no attempt at customer service period. I feel sorry for the folks of Alcoa and Maryville who have legitimate questions or need help with a subscription..If you call Dr Zach at the 2931 Alcoa Hwy store in Knoxville, he or his tech will always answer the phone. I have never been on hold with that store for more than 5 minutes...
The prescription pick-up drive thru line is incredibly SLOOOOOW!
You wait 30 min in the drive through lane to the left to pick up a prescription….right lane says for drop off only. I called to ask why such a long wait….said because of covid testing “sorry but It’s like waiting at the doctor office” I ask why not open the other lane for RX pick up and she says the right lane is open for pick up. I tell her the sign says drop off only….she tells me “Well you can pick up there” 8 cars in line. This is what we get for following their request. CHANGE YOUR SIGN!!!! Annoying.
Everyone here works on there on pace on their own time. They answer the phone when they want to. Seams like thats the last of their worries. Answering the phone, helping people.
Alan in the Pharmacy omgosh he went above and beyond to help me. Gave me 4 pills of my medicine I have to take everyday. My Drs office is closed on Fridays. I normally use Pigeon Forge CVS since I leave near there. He rescued me. Thank you so so much Alan such a kind young man
The pharmacy is a joke the amount of time you wait on. Your medication is out of control. They are so slow and Customer service is poor ! Since this is the only pharmacy that I can go to due to insurance reasons . The local pharmacist that I used before was Lowes Drugs and it is an A1 all the way around, best customer service I’ve ever had wish I could go back to them but INSURANCE doesn’t allow.
Ive done business with CVS for years. Last night my husband had a bad accident and was prescribed a narcotic for pain. Were new to the area and I didnt know this pharmacy wasnt a 24 hour pharmacy. We went by to get it at 8:30 for them to tell us they didnt know when it would be ready. The pharmacist was rude. Its all because he was prescribed a narcotic. I will never do business with them again... any CVS. I work in the medical field, sad thing is, people like this particular pharmacist treats everyone as of theyre a drug addict! This is ridiculous!
The Wesite said Walk ins were welcome for the COVID 19 vaccine. My dad went in to get his and was instructed to make an appointment. They were rude and quickly dismissed him. They werent busy at this time and should have honored what the website had posted. I have a snapshot of the website that says Walk ins welcome, some of our older population are lost to scheduling on computers.
OMG!!! FIX YOUR WEBSITE!!! I LOG IN AND IT TAKES ME IN CIRCLES CONTINUALLY ASKING ME TO LOG IN. I AM ALREADY LOGGED IN!! YOUR I.T. PEOPLE NEED TO BE FKING FIRED FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE YOUR WEBSITE ACCESSIBLE FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE REQUIRED TO USE CVS!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Testing times do not work for the majority of 8-5 workers, dates only extend out one day so advanced booking is not an option. Waits are not as advertised as testing takes longer or people are still allowed to test that show before their scheduled time. Offer weekend, after 5 or speedier testing.
Horrible customers servicePharmacy can’t figure there life out
Expensive but clean
If youre going for a Covid test just know that the staff talking to you will remove their masks multiple times and wear their masks UNDER their nose. So if you didnt have covid, but just a cold... you might have covid now.Also- if you sign up for a covid test online and have a confirmation number and everything... they wont always be able to see it on their end so you might just sit in your parked car in line for 1.5hours.
Not the first time we have had bad customer service from LISA who works in the pharmacy area as the cashier. She is rude, she is not helpful and she announces your medicine so everyone can hear what you are taking. So much for privacy. I also order our scripts from the online CVS site and twice they have messed up my husbands scripts. They tell us they have called the doctor like they are suppose to and they dont call the doctor. We end up calling the doctor and we know for a fact the pharmacy never attempted to call them. Not good.
Theyre very professional, but a little pricey.
The pharmacy staff here or in competent, RUDE.I’ll never use this store again, Stephanie is rude and the older women pharmacy tech. CVS, needs to clean this pharmacy up.
During this time of crisis when refunds arent being issued, communication broke down about a CVS sale. With funds being tight, panic struck as I was trying to make every cent count. Fortunately, Stephanie helped me and fixed the transaction. Thank you Stephanie!
The pharmacy staff at this location are very rude. They are very short with pharmacy customers.
Used the drive thru.. Super fast and friendly service
I wanna give the Hall Rd CVS pharmacy employees a major shout out for 100% super fantastic customer service!!! Twice in 6 weeks Ive had my prescriptions transferred there and this team of staff is remarkable especially Kelly on the register... They need to be recognized all over town!!!!!!!!!
I have used this location for my pharmacy needs since they opened the doors. They are always friendly and the service is efficient. Never had an error on a prescription. There is sometimes a fairly long wait to pick up prescriptions, which I think could be remedied with a few more techs. The store is clean and well-kept.
The pharmacy staff always treats me wonderfully; if I am wasting time while waiting on a prescription, however, the other staff (i.e. cashiers, regular store management) treat me like a thief. Ive never given them a reason to follow me, ask me to look in my bags/at my receipts (only for me to be exonerated while they look like bullies), but it happens almost every time.
This pharmacy is usually ok but recently they have been very unprofessional. I always get this one person when I come in here lately. She’s rude no matter what. I get it, working with the public sucks, but no need to be rude to people who aren’t rude to you in the first place.I have a couple of prescriptions that are always on hold until I tell them to fill them. I have to tell them multiple times to fill these before they ever do it.Recently, I got a new prescription. It was on hold several days and I asked for it to be filled several times. The last time I came in I asked about it for the fourth time. I got the same person who is always rude. She seemed so annoyed that I asked about it and after a few minutes told me it was out of stock and that it has been for a while. I was told that I need to get it sent to a different pharmacy if I wanted it. Ok thanks a lot for waiting several days to tell me this! Glad you all didn’t think it was very important to let me know that I wouldn’t be getting it.Just don’t act like you hate everyone. Maybe fill the prescriptions when asked. Tell your customers if there’s a problem with an order so it can be resolved asap. Don’t make them ask multiple times and wait around for something they’re never going to get.
Really nice staff always busy though. Corporate really needs to provide more staff in their pharmacy.
Other then this pharmacy being opened 24 I would never use this pharmacy. If I could give it a zero star I would.
If I could give a negative star I would. They are horrible. They lost a 2 month prescription of my sons adhd medicine. I was told well he will have to go without it for 2 months. Horrible business and workers. I will never be back.
This store has very high prices compared to Kroger across the street. And very high prices compared to Walmart. When i asked for a price match of a $15 item that was $8 at Walmart the lady told me they didnt do that. I told her i could show her on their website where it says they price match. She did not care. I guess when the website says and i quote Lowest Prices Guaranteed they mean Lowest Prices unless someone beats our prices then we wont do anything.
The manager of this store is awesome!!
Unfortunately, I had to give one star to leave a review. Otherwise, I wouldn’t give a start. I chose to switch from Walgreens to CVS because it is closer to my house now. Big mistake! I had an unpleasant experience the first time I walked in and it hasn’t gotten better. On Thursday, at approximately 4 pm, I stopped by CVS to give them my kids and myself insurance information and to confirm they received the prescriptions from out doc. During this time, a lady that works behind the counter in the pharmacy (blue scrubs) was kind enough to help me. The whole time she was helping me the pharmacist kept bugging her because the line for pick up was getting long. She was one of three ladies working and to be honest they were busy. Hello! Hire more personnel if your that busy. Your a pharmacy and it’s flu season! Duh! The pharmacist told the nice lady that she didn’t need to be getting my insurance information because when the prescriptions are filled they will get that. First, of all that makes no sense because the insurance needs to be billed first. Otherwise, how would you know to fill it!? Secondly, the lady was helping me enroll in text alerts so I will know when it’s ready. Oh and even though she did that the text alerts NEVER worked!! Later that evening, after get NO notification that our meds were ready (my poor kids get worse at home), I decided to drive out at 7:30 at night to get our meds. The lady at the drive in window was completely rude when she informed me our meds weren’t ready, and they had to order 2 for my kids. She informed me they would be ready the next day and I would get a text (all the while being rude). It is now Friday (the next day), and I’m currently waiting in the lobby for our prescriptions. Still not ready!! I originally used the drive threw. The lady asked me who I was picking up for, so I gave her all 3 of our names. Of course she rudely interrupted me mid sentence to inform me she needed one name at a time. How about asking me how many people I’m picking up for first??!! Then ask me the name one at a time??!! Or is rudeness a standard at this pharmacy?? So, I’m inside. They didn’t apply insurance for one of my daughters prescriptions (eye roll). I don’t even know why I’m surprised...their customer service standards are clear to me know. Here is some customer service advice. Your dealing with sick peole how about being nice! Also, please explain to me why Walgreens (by foothills mall) can fill my prescriptions in hours (same day) and it has taken this place two days!!! Absolutely ridiculous! I will not use this pharmacy again. Even if it is convenient because of location. I’ll drive across town where the service is better and they actually know what they are doing!
Very unprofessional staff at pharmacy... I had stopped shopping at this store 6 mos. ago for similar attacks... Thought I would try again dummy me...nothing as changed or improved... Young lady waiting on me seemed to be a bother as she was more interested in talking to the guy delivering meds...she did call twice for Lonnie to assist me but to no success.. The rest of the staff were somewhat busy and could care less...way to go CVS....your still terrible with customer service.,.. I give you a thumbs up for being consistent.... So long forever..
I stopped going here years ago because of their rude pharmacy staff. And today proved I was again right in making that choice. My husband unfortunately still gets his one monthly prescription filled there. For tax purposes I called for a print out of ALL we have paid them. As i was explaining this to the pharmacist I was EXTREMELY and rudely cut off mid sentence and asked very bluntly Just tell me what you want!. In a small town in the south you would expect better manners. But lookout CVS. Your reviews arent good. Ive checked. And you have a LOT of competition in this town. Im sooooo glad I changed to the pharmacy that was voted the #1 pharmacy in Blount County. They treated me as they ALWAYS do like I was a human being when I made the same request of them. CVS you are in the wrong town to be dishing out such HORRIBLE customer service. There are too many other places we Blount Countians can go. Check your reviews. You are sorely lacking in the customer service area. You might want to think about that. It effects your business financially. Shame on you.
Its a good store people are friendly
Filling in their pharmacy is terrible. With the prescription drug abuse in the state if you have a controlled substance prescribed to you and are young over half the pharmacy techs there treat you like a drug addict. They speak poorly to you. Unfortunately if thats one of the only pharmacies your insurance takes you are screwed and cant switch pharmacies to a diff cvs because they have a limit on people
Horrible service. Normally I get pretty good service at CVSs but after today Im changing pharmcies. The pharmacy techs were rude, unapologetic, and gave me some incorrect information. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but there is no good reason for what happened today. Think twice before getting your medicine here, you may regret it if you do.
I will NOT be using the CVS in Alcoa again! My step-sons (ages 18 and 23) ran out of gas in their dads truck and coasted into the side parking lot of CVS. (they ran out of gas because the gas gauge was broken). They were not in the way of other cars, but the manager came out and told them to push it even closer to the curb and then pointed to the gas gauge and said very sarcastically, this thing right here tells you whether you have gas or not. The 18 year old is graduating this month - 4th in his class and his goal is to be a dentist and the 23 year old works full time in a bank - THEY KNOW what a gas gauge is. They called AAA and gas was soon delivered. The 18 year old took a $50 bill into CVS to get change to give the AAA driver and the manager said she could not open the drawer for change. Really? Since when can a manager not open a drawer. My step son purchased a pack of gum and got the change he needed. First, if this had happened to me (yes, I have run out of gas before and the gas gauge WAS working - people make mistakes) the manager would have NEVER told me to push my car just a bit farther, she would have NEVER spoken rudely to me and if she had I would have corrected her then and I believe she would have been able to give me change. Why she chose to treat these nice young men this way is inexcusable. I can promise you they will not spend money in this CVS store ever!
Employees are super nice.
