Useless store, barely has any products, I tried to find a specific product at the electronic section and they only had one person in the section. There was another AT&T rep there but he was useless as well. Unless you know what you’re buying and you absolutely know it’s there don’t waste your time at this location.

I always shopping at Target and it is a good store. I never write a review but this target which is located at 3000 Potomac yard, the manager was so nice and helpful her name is Stacy, she helped me and she knows how to treat the customer nicely and equally. I want to buy a toy and they put wrong price for it, I talked to the cashier and she called the manger both didn’t help me. The cashier charged me for the the toy that I didn’t want to buy. I came to the customer service and want to talk to someone that I’m charged for the item that I don’t have it. Stacy was the one who listen to me and helped me.

I was sooo dissapointed to see that people vandalize and steal leaving products incomplete. I was buying earrings for my grandaughter and had to search deep to find a selection where someone had not stolen an earrings out of a set. MORE SECURITY is needed at the Target on Potomac Yards. PLEAse arrest those people. This is an expensive community and we are trying to keep a better level of citizens.

This Target location isn’t too bad. Selection can be spotty but it’s slowly improved the last year or two. Parking is a nightmare. The parking lot is always full even when the store isn’t. Grocery produce could be expanded and improved.

I have one item to pick up that I ordered . They said IHad to wait at least 2 hrs . Went to Best Buy before the arrival pick up for one item and they took care me of right away . It’s different levels ofCustomer service, obviously target isn’t top tier when it comes putting customers first

First of all, I think the floor staff at this location do a great job, but lately I cant help but wonder if there has been a change in management or other core processes that keep a Target running.This location has been out of stock on the same products for months, with no indication it was ever restocked.While this likely wont affect many people, ironically many of the things -I- would like to purchase are regularly missing on Saturdays and / or Sundays. Covid is not an excuse anymore.

Line is 200 feet long. This isnt Thanksgiving, New Years or day before Christmas. How is this acceptable? Hire more people, Target! $15/hr aint that much if youre bringing this many people in!

Theres a. Parking issue at this target. Residents nearby who lives in the apartments are parking there. Towing should be enforced. I cannot believe such a big lot would be over occupied. I couldnt find a parking spot. Yes thats right. Action is needed. No questions

If you expect to park anywhere near this store, dont bother. The ample parking lot in front of this Target has been commandeered by the construction site next door, the lot is packed with cars from early morning until quittin time. Store employees say Target has no control over who parks in their lot. One reason I shop in the suburbs is the ample parking. Ill be shopping elsewhere until Target takes control of their own parking lot.

I ordered items online for pickup at my local Target. Within 90 minutes,I received a notification that my order was ready. The pickup was a breeze, quickly & efficiently handled by a very friendly Associate. Keep up the great work!! THANKS!!!!!!!!

I just have to tell a story and I wish I knew the names of the individuals that helped me. I had an order pick up for Wednesday June 9th and when I got there, they couldnt find my order. They told me they couldnt find it and they were going to go try and find them in the store. As the two girls left, another girl approached me and asked if everything was alright. We explained the story and she began to help as well. About 10 minutes later, the girls came back with all my items -- I was so excited! They were so appreciative of me waiting and they were friendly the whole time (keep in mind -- returns and pick up was very busy). I will be going back to the store because the customer service was amazing!

Had a good experience, some spots in the store shelves looked emptied, staff looked limited, so finding someone may seem difficult. But other than that, wasnt bad

It was my first time at this location. Monday January 7, 2019. Usually I give 5 stars for all my reviews (except two now including this one). This store (and most of the shopping carts I saw) had a trash/rubbish problem. I picked a clean cart but even still it had 3 pieces of trash shown. Besides that everything I needed was in stock. Id come back again because Im sure it would be better.

This Target used to be great, but has really gone down the tubes. Items are either not stocked or always incorrectly marked. I picked up an online order and was told half my order was not in stock. The items actually were in stock so I had to come back to pick them up. I tried to use a manufacturers coupon but was told they wouldnt accept it. Since when are manufacturers coupons not accepted everywhere?Edited to add: How is this store still open? Against my better judgment, I placed a pickup order and half the items were missing. Who is running this location? I recommend shopping at one of the other locations in the area and avoiding this at all costs.

I love this target, but in the last several weeks parking is impossible here. The massive lot will be completely full with cars circling around. I have to shop with my one year old and the parking situation makes it really difficult.

Barely any stock on shelves. Employees walk in front of you or cut you off in the aisles without acknowledging you. Worst Target Ive ever been to.

Checkout prices of several items showed slightly higher than prices listed on the shelf. We double checked and found the correct labels and items on the shelves, yet the checkout disagreed. Insidious price gouging. I wonder how many customers check this. Considering how many items we were charged more for than listed, this store could likely be running afoul of some regulations or laws regarding inaccurate sales practices. This happened for all kinds of products, from health and beauty to food to clothing to stationary and housewares.

This is the nicest Target within 1 hour of DC.The store is neat, well organized and the staff are friendly, courteous and extremely helpful.This location is well stocked in health & beauty, paper products, pet care & pet food, greeting cards, home decor and furnishings, home lighting, home office decor & supplies, bed & bath linens, window curtains, cleaning supplies, kitchenwares, small kitchen appliances, china, flatware & serving pieces, kids bikes, work-out & yoga gear, boys & girls clothing and back-to-school supplies.The parking lot is a regular outdoor parking lot with normal sized spaces. I appreciate their kind and professional staff, as well as, stress-free complimentary parking.September 1, 2016 Update: I still really love this Target store. They really do have the nicest most caring staff from management to stock clerks to cashiers. However several of the Price Check kiosks are broken and have been out-of-service since April or May. 4 months is too long to wait for repairs or replacements. Please repair or replace. Thank you.

Target/CVS, I been here before but not the CVS. Long short story. My mom was out on her one medicine and the CVS on Beauregard Street were out si they told me to go to this CVS to pick up the medicine. I drove here and they did not send the prescription so the fantastic ( Emily) the pharmacist she helped me getting the medicines on time and my 40 minutes drive did not go waste . This target is clean and organized and all the staff are awesome and friendly. Good job guys.

July 2, 2021. My family and I drove to Target store in Alexandria at 6600 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306. The store assistant manager received a call from a team of stalkers including Alexandria police who followed us on road in Alexandria and stalkers are doing solicits stores and any merchant against us as targeted victims using false alerts, defamation, and false light methods. The stalker called the store about us making up a story about suspects as shoplifting. Target store employees at panicked and made a false alert by radio announcement using intercom system in the store. They are unfriendly with minority and ethics consumers. They are using defamation and false light method on targeted customers who are American Russian or Slavic ethical background customers.The store loves reports on customers because of rusophobia, prejustice, and persecution. My mother and we were shocked how they treated and humiliated us using defamation and false light methods. We (customers) are victims of these false alert, humiliation, defamation, and false light that happened in Alexandria, Virginia.

This is my favorite target. It sounds so silly, but it’s the first suburban-ish set of stores with parking (!) wherever you want (!) since I’ve lived in DC or Arlington.I also do a lot of healthy grocery shopping here. Meaning I think that their store-brand frozen chicken, fish, berries are cheaper and FAR better quality than a “normal” grocery store.

The store is always clean and orderly; and I can usually find what I need there.

I did not have any problem during my visit and there is nothing something special happened. My rate 4 star.

What a waste of time is coming to this Target. I spoke to 4 people in here to help me to get the size I wanted because the app was showing me they have it in the stock and to your surprise none of them were willing to check so I had to leave without it.

Stopped by the other day to pickup and online order and decided to buy a few items since I was there :)There is ample parking in front of the store but the parking lot is generally busy given all the other stores nearby.This store is clean and well organized and it was easy to find all the items I was looking for. They are doing an okay job at responding to new shopping patterns in these times of Corona virus - in terms of - enforcing social distancing, contactless payment options, mask enforcement policy, and employees wearing gloves!All in all, a good location of Target - similar to other locations in the area.

I love, love, love Target. During this COVID pandemic I found that Target was one of the first stores that mandated masks. I accidentally left my mask in my car, because of a phone call distraction, and was greeted at the front door by 3 store employees who quickly reminded me of the mandatory mask while in stores. They were pleasant and understanding. I love, love, love Target.

The target always seems to be out of a lot of items and it also seems to be poorly laid out and oftentimes crowded. The shelf displays are also oftentimes messy and it can be hard to find staff for help with finding items. The home decor section is especially disappointing, normally I love targets home decor but at the store the selection is minimal and the shelves dont seem to be replenished frequently.

The Over Aggressive EmployeeI went to this location Sunday morning at opening made a purchase . Left and returned to the store later that morning to make another purchase. I decided to also pick up another can of microban spray from the shelf. There was no limit placed in the location they were placed, nor were they handing them out to each customer so I grabbed a can. I went to the register to pay, the cashier just stood there not saying anything, then walked off grabbed another employee, then the other employee proceeded to lecture me about purchasing a can now and one from earlier that morning. I said okay no problem but there was no sign up where they were placed. She proceeded to lecture me I replied You are acting like there was a sign up and I grabbed 5 or 6 cans. Its fine can i just please purchase my other items and leave ?( as my other items lay on the counter and the other employees and customers listened and watched this go on.) Then i was allowed to purchase my other items.Needless to say this will be the last time Ill be shopping here.Im written this because I called to speak to the manager or assistant several times but couldnt.Embarrassing.

Sloppy target, items don’t match price tags, general disorganized. Clean tho.

Target is the best store to shop in when needing practical items, and pricing is generally good.

Items are always out of stock, some areas are very disorganized. I wasn’t able to find anything I wanted, but it’s still a decent Target for your everyday needs.

The employees who work here are extremely rude, not helpful and condescending towards customers. I’ve had too many bad experiences with this particular target and I will never shop at this location again. I’d rather drive to a store further away than spend my hard earned money at a place where I am treated poorly.

You can pretty much get almost everything you need in one place and it’s always on trend. Checkout is usually fast, even if there’s a long line it usually goes quickly. They always have someone wiping down the carts or sanitizing wipes available. Been my go-to store for years.

Carl (Bicycle Dept) was an exceptional service member. He quickly addressed my problem, made the necessary repairs, and provided excellent maintenance advice. He was attentive and made me feel like a valued customer.

I did an order pickup where they got the order wrong, but due to a system error I would have to return to the store to return the incorrect items the next day. Without even asking, the service rep went and got her manager to approve me to receive a small gift card for the inconvenience. I really appreciated it and it made me a lot less aggravated about the mixup.

There were long lines at only 2 open registers today. Ms. Barb, a Target employee, walked by and I asked if she could see if management could open another register. Next thing I knew SHE opened another register. Target is lucky to have an employee who sees and acts on a problem. And thanks to Ms. Barb for shortening my wait time!

Unbelievably good customer service on a return today!I bought my sone a bike, back in August when they were near impossible to find, but this target had one. He was thrilled and has ridden it everywhere!Just the other day he was complaining about it and finally told me, Well, Dad, the brakes dont work and it really never changed gears.WHAT?? SO I checked it out and sure enough the brakes are inop and one of them is plain missing the adjuster. I took it to the local bike Coop Shop and he said it would be $175 to repair it. I said it was only a $120 bike to begin with (a huffy - wouldnt buy one again!) The bike shop manager suggested that I take it back.I was absolutely thrilled that Target returned it - ZERO questions asked. (I did have my receipt and original documentation that came with the bike.)I felt so happy w/ my experience that I felt obliged to buy another bike from this same Target, this time a Schwinn! Okay, I paid a litlle more, but I am a Happy Customer that will return again and again - and my kid is VERY HAPPY!! He now has brakes and gears that change!Thank you, Target!

Big store with most of your needs.

Very small target but that is ok. It is organized. But what bothered me was the Starbucks employees. I was sitting in line for a very long time. When I finally got to the counter, employee tried to totally order his own drink. I sat there for a good 8 minutes waiting for him. I finally left not trying not to get angry. Disappointing, I really wanted a Frappuccino. This happened around 6:10 PM. STARBUCKS, please check out you employee on that shift.

My pick-up was smooth and the Target staffer was very pleasant and friendly.

Terrible customer service at Potomac Yard Alexandria location- asked about returning mail order items thatwere the wrong size. Woman at customer relations was incredibly rude, could barely understand her with all the beeps and Bella and other noises going off. Told me I had to come into the store to make a return- I told her I’m immune compromised and she told me I’d have to still come into the store. Asked to talk to manager and she said no - he’ll just tell me the same thing. Wow! Never had someone be so rude and disappointed by lack of understanding of those who are immune compromised and do not want to risk coming in to fix an error that appears to have been Target’s

Whoever is doing shipment at this store needs some training. You don’t put things wherever. Match the barcodes and the planograms please. They’re there for a reason! As a result, this store is hard to shop especially if you’re in a hurry. The household cleaning aisles were the worst followed up by the candles. It’s neater and more organized at the HomeGoods next door.

They way they were sending people in the store today was unsafe and didn’t make sense. They held everyone in long line and then just released several people into the store all at once. Other stores are letting customers in as customers leave. How does it make sense to force everyone to enter and get their carts at the exact same time? Why not stagger it so you can get your cart without people all around you? The way they were doing this was actually making the entrance more crowded.

Worst customer service,one guy in the cashier clearly does not want to be there, looks so bored,and said that he’s closed, but let the other woman go which was behind me. What’s up with that??? The other lady that I went to next,does not even want to be bothered, where do they hired all these people???the rating should not be 1, it’s just too bad there’s no 0 to choose because it will be negative zero!!!

Sold meat that was expired two days prior. Reached out to the store for a refund and was told we do not issue refunds and you should have checked the expiration date on the package.DO NOT buy produce, meat or dairy from this store! Dry goods only - even then I would check the expiration date.

Its the normal Taregt with the normal stuff. It has mens, womans, and kids clothing. It has electronics. It has a decent size food area with frozen foods. It also has some produce. The bathrooms are clean. It also has a Starbucks. So the normal Target store.

I always find what I need and want in target, plus more. Today my experience was even better than normal. Associate Donna was extremely helpful in helping me locate a specific holiday candy. Online it said they had it in stock however it wasn’t stocked in the aisle where it said it was. She went out of her way to find the candy in the back and stock the shelf with the candy. She even located me in the store after I had moved on to give me the candy. I appreciate this above and beyond customer service. Great job!

Earlier tonight one of your cashier’s overcharged me for 3 items I did not purchase and back out/erased $45 worth of gift cards that I gave her for my purchase. Also she did not scan my wallet on my app as I requested and now I am not sure if she’s stolen money from another gift card that I received for my birthday, so I have to check it to ensure she didn’t steal from that card, too.

I won’t be coming to this location anymore. It used to be nice however a majority of the employees are rude and so was the manager that I spoke to today. Both were argumentative and all I asked for was an exchange for an undamaged/unopened mattress protector that I had paid for minutes earlier. This is why online retail is the picking up vise coming into stores.

Ordering by internet, and picking up the delivery is the best. Somethings require one to go into the store, but for the most part, I love this way of shopping.

They lure in people showing an item is in stock according to their own website, even though there isnt even a tag/empty spot on rhecshelf for it ... and when you ask one of their employees to lookup in their system if its in stock ... youre met with rudeness and an incorrectly worn mask. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

I really really really loved a male african american employee here. I was coming in to buy something then return an item and I swear I didnt even have to lift a finger or walk far for anything. This gentleman had been standing to greet guests and he asked if I needed help. I did tell him what I was looking to do, and from start to finish, he helped me with ease. I genuinely felt pampered. ....and in a target? Who wouldve thought its somewhere you can feel pampered. I then came back another time and saw the same guy helping another person out with the same smile, ease and shiftness. It is so nice to see. And nust because of his, this store is now a 5 out of 5.

Clean, organized and fairly stocked. I think the things missing cant really be found anywhere right now so they are doing their best.

Curbside is very well organized and their CS is above all! I love this Target!

Holy moly I was beyond impressed with the efficiency and accessibility of this process.

My customer services representative was awesome and very helpful! The whole process from checkout to the store was very seamless for me! I am a little rusty with online shopping so I encourage you to search for a while. I found the perfect product for me, but it took me a day or two to stumble upon it.

If you live in SE DC, this Target is one of the most convenient locations to go to. Its off the highway with a large parking lot (its refreshing to not worry about parking after living in DC for so long).Its a large Target that sells most items other Targets sell from groceries to clothes to toys.The service is decent and the lines usually go fast. Also, the returns staff have been helpful in the past!

I love Target! It has almost everything I need every time I go and the cartwheel app gives me the lowest prices. When I visit my mom, we love going to the nearest Target to purse the discount clothes. Also, there are 4 Targets with 5 -15 min drive of me and the one in Potomac Yard is my favorite.

This is a really good store compared to the other stores in the neighborhood and to other Targets I have been to. There were so many people at the checkout but then also they were managing so well in sending people to different counter. The only thing I saw was that there were not many personnel to help people near clothes and all. Seems like everyone was busy helping people to check out quickly.

I was given the wrong item by a disinterested associate who barely spoke during the transaction. I would have been better off walking through the store to find the item myself. The whole point of me ordering store pickup was to save time. Now, Ill have to waste even more time to return and get the right item. And this was at 8AM, right when the store opened.

Love this location, especially since they renovated it! The store now includes a Starbucks and expanded wine & beer area at the front. Usually not that busy and they added a lot of self check out kiosks that move quickly.

Only reason for no 5 star is a couple of bad employees however always clean and great selection.

I love Target and there in-store items just as well as there online items that why my score is so high!!

I actually really love this location! Ive always had excellent help at the customer service desk (I do quite a few returns) and whoever is at the self checkout is always awesome. Well stocked, not cluttered - these guys are rocking it!

This Target is great. They recently added a whole new section, more parking and Starbucks. The store is always clean, I haven’t had any issues in 5 years I’ve been living in Alexandria.

Multiple staff members had their masks around their chins, including the gentleman that was assigning shoppers to the checkout lanes (approximately 3:08 PM) . Two out of the three CVS employees in the store didnt have their masks on, nor did a woman stocking the snack shelves (around G25-30 at approximately 2:40 PM) Date of visit 05/22/2020

Their customer service counter lacks just one thing, service. I went to get two refill bottles of Sodastream CO2 and they only had one at the counter. The girl said she would get someone to get the other from storage and took my money. I waited for almost 20 minutes and no one came with the extra bottle. I asked for my money back for the other bottle and was basically told to pound sand. I finally got my refund after a further 10 minutes and a call to the manager. Never again. BTW, Staples sells Sodastream cheaper and has them in stock just two stores down.

Target carries a nice variety of stuff, for your house, your kids (toys, clothes). This store is laid out nicely, mostly spacious aisles, generally ready to find what youre looking for. This has a grocery section, which is mostly useful to get a few things -- I wouldnt do the bulk of my grocery shopping here.
