Nice, courteous. Know what theyre doing. Not the cheapest place in town. But they are more of a specialized business. And...you get what you pay for.

Ive had issues with my ankle rolling since is had a bad sprain a year ago. I went in for a gait analysis. This is exactly what I needed. I tried on at least 10 pairs of shoes and walk in them until I found the perfect pair. Also, if youre on your feet alot & your feet always hurt, go check them out. Its so worth the money.

It was very nice! Lady was very nice, cheerful & helpful. Helped me determine my correct shoe size.

Even though I called and told the employee I would be there before they closed to look at a specific item, when I got there 5 minutes before their supposed closing time of 6pm, the lights were off, the door was locked, and I saw no one through the windows. If Im not worth their time, theyre not worth my money.

Great store. Even better service. They have everything . Lucky to have this in Alexandria. Highly recommend.

The staff was very polite and helpful. It was awesome to have a staff member help me and give me things to look for in my running shoe choice.

My daughter was there yesterday and when she went to try on shoes she was told it was a $25 charge just to try them on. She of course walked out without trying on or purchasing any shoes. She went in to buy 2 pair. We will be letting everyone we know not to go here unless you want to pay $25 just to try on shoes. So much for supporting local businesses.

After talking to several other people who have negative experiences I felt it is necessary I share my experience and maybe something will be done about the customers who havent been treated with respect while shopping locally here in Alexandria.Email I sent with no response:My name is Nerri Brown. On Saturday, April 2, 2016, I visited Run Wild to purchase a pair of running shoes. I believe in supporting local businesses and always receive outstanding customer service so I was very surprised by the kind of service I received at Run Wild, a store that was recommended to me by several of my friends who are runners.I came in and I was greeted by a brunette young lady. I told her what I was looking for and expressed that I have been having a hard time finding a shoe that fits me well and that I came in with intentions of getting fitting and buying a pair of shoes. I was told that I needed to purchase a pair of shoes to be fitted. I was then lead to the wall of shoes and told to look and see if there was anything that I liked and to let them know if there was anything that I may be interested in. I was okay with this initially because I was told this was the policy. However, soon after, another patron came in and received completely different treatment - she was fitted for shoes before making a purchase and had several pairs of shoes brought out to her with 2 employees helping her. I, of course, do not need to be waited on hand and foot but there was a clear difference between the way that I was treated versus the way she was treated. I, a black woman, was treated completely different than (and not as well as) the white woman that came in directly behind me. Rarely do I make things about race, but facts are facts. There were no obvious differences between the other woman and me other than our races.Despite this apparent bias, I purchased a pair of $120 shoes (no one offered to fit me after my purchase) because you were the only store in town that had the type of shoe I was looking for. I highly doubt I will support your store again and I will not be recommending the store to anyone else either. However, I felt it necessary to inform you of my experience so that you may have the opportunity to address the issue sooner, rather than later.

This store has to have the most asinine return/exchange policy Ive ever heard of. The max 2 exchanges per customer per month policy is ridiculous. My mom has been shopping here for years but will likely be going online to purchase directly from Patagonia.
