3 stars because of, never enough cashiers & super slow always. When I do go there its just for color tee shirts & long sleeved tee shirts. I wont miss itAfter it goes bankrupt. Real Artists shop at Blick!

This is the crafting store that I consider my source, even over online shopping. So many times I would rather look at an item in person before purchasing, but also have the ability to order online and pick it up curbside or mail delivery. I didnt really care for the timing of either during the pandemic at this store, preferring the Canton store pickup instead. I found it was worth the drive to get a more timely pickup which could affect the availability of items received. The Allen Park store has many women that have helped me with questions, esp in the fabric area. I do have some that I find esp knowledgeable and cut fabric straight without costing loss of inches of costly material. Yes, that does matter, ask someone who sews frequently, esp with the layout of pattern pieces. The store is incredibly neat, in my opinion, considering how many people go through the items and move things about.

Shoutout to the cashier, Khalid my phone died and he honored my coupon never have any issues with him! Also the lady at the cutting counter, I think her name was Vela was very helpful when I had questions about sewing this is my favorite store!

The Keepsake calico not enough of fabric to choose from other stores have more to choose from. Why is that ?

Theres a creepy older employee woman with red hair an glasses who eyeballed me the whole time i shopped. She stood directly behind me in line no social distancing. I was there around 6pm. Also the cashier was no better. He was a young man with dark short hair and bushy brows very snappy and had a attitude very disgusting. He snatched my item out my hand so aggresivley. I never have been treated this bad at any store. Customers beware.

A great variety of seasonal decor. A bit expensive honestly, but if you download their app, they usually have coupons, which helps a lot.

ZERO starts if I could give. Today I came here and was harassed by an employee it’s a older white woman with glasses and ginger hair who literally shoved into me in the aisle and yelled at me to move. She kept following me and staring. Also the cashier, his name is Khalid I seen his name tag he called me a derogatory slur and threw my bag at me because I asked him for a price check. Never coming again. This was on august 8th, 2021.

Ive always been able to find what I want at a very reasonable price.

Its all Overpriced and then you wait 30 minutes to go through checkout. Ive had 3 visits and they were all the same. Its very organized and the prices are easy to find, they also have a very wide selection and you will very likely find what you are looking for at least a 300% or more markup from other craft stores.

Spend your money elsewhere... Horrible customer service. The young Arabic male cashier was extremely unprofessional and just had the worst attitude!

I love the new summer classes! For kids excellent selections for both genders! Adults too cam fun in dabbling in the Arts. Phone service needs improvement.

This location is not well stocked and the employee’s act as if youre bothering them when asking for assistance.

Unfortunatly this location is so short staffed its not worth going to. You will have a difficult time finding any help if you cannot find what you are looking for. If you do find something it will take over a half hour to check out with only one register open. Its time to put this location out of its misery.

Charged $34 for a toy that was only $15 at Target. I had no problem returning it but dont buy your children toys there without checking prices at other stores!

Everyone was very helpful for what I needed for my new sewing machine.

No help one cashier called for 25 min., my wait in line, until someone finally came.So the one star is for the ceo and poor judgment not for the struggling employees.

This Joanns use t o be 5 star.I Have been going to this store for years.I love to quilt. But since the beginning of this year it has changed. The store is not as organized as it use to be or as clean. There are new employees that are friendly.

They have excellent door buster deals today. Lines are long but moving quickly. Love this place!!!

I love this Joann Fabrics they are always fully stocked. The lines are typically long because of all the crafters but they get you out of there fast.

They have a many sales and items crafts and art. They have blanket sale buy 1 get 2 free they like 24.99 adults size. The place is not crowd.

I needed some African inspired fabric for a project. They had some nice prints for reasonably priced.

They had a good variety of everything as usual.

Every craft that you can think to look for. Very helpful staff as well.

Went to the fabric counter and the lady there (Vela) was rude and it felt like she didnt want to help us. She didnt ask if we wanted two tickets for the fabric and gave us attitude when we tried to clarify. However, the cashier was very friendly and welcoming.

Staff is super sweet but a manager berated a young cashier for not calling for backup when the whole line heard her call for assistance multiple times. Don’t be snarky with your employees in front of customers, or frankly at all. Not a good look. Put more people on the schedule, that falls on management...not your 17 year old employee..

Great place for the small business person to get supplies. I buy my fabrics on sale. Tip: use your coupons

I love this place! Its Amazing! You can find everything you need for sewing and arts & crafts projects. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the prices were affordable. Im definitely recommending it to my family and friends.

This is one of my favorite Joann stores in the metro Detroit area. The store is laid out in a way that makes sense and the people that work there are very helpful.

So I never really come out to this location but I did and in the past couple of weeks have been to several different Jo Ann’s but I had the best experience at this location and they didn’t have all I needed so i still had to go to the ones I had previously BUT THE STAFF WAS AWESOME !!! The customer service was great she located what other locations had what I needed which led to to still buy items from there too instead of just getting everything from the other location!! Thank you for the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE FLOOR AND THE CUTTER (Janice) the young lady on the floor was unpacking she stopped stocking to help me locate my item then when I was in line and the was only one cashier she came to the front to get the line down which helped ALOT !!!! My NEW FAVORITE JO ANN’S

A ton of items at this location. The selection is vast. I went looking for molds to make candy. Had exactly what I needed and then some. Staff is polite, they assisted in finishing the materials needed. I will say check out was long as they only had 1 representative but other wise good location. Parking lot had some parking spaces that were open. No complaints but long check out

I really like this location compared to the Livonia location. The set up is a lot better, it doesnt look like a big warehouse. It is clean store.

Allen Park Store is overall clean and organized but I would consider not returning because of their cashier Colin. Not only is he absolutely rude with the worst customer service, he continued to huff and puff his bad breath in our face. He kept huffing and puffing his bad breath as if he was bothered he actually had to work. He shouldnt consider customer service if he doesnt enjoy it. He was bothered when I had coupons or asked a price check and even snatched products from my mothers hand. If that was my employee he would be terminated.

JoAnn in Allen Park has knowledgeable customer service people. The staff is patient and willing to take the time to help, even though a line is beginning to form. The cashiers try to work with customers to provide the most savings for their coupons as well.

Today I paid a visit to one of the local Jo-Ann Fabrics. I typically spend about an hour to two hours in the store each time I visit and Im always spending at least $50 every time I go, you could say my check goes to them because I buy material for my business to use. I myself love shopping here this is my happy place its where I get some of my inspiration especially when I talk to other people who visit the store. I enjoy making small talk, however my visit today was not the greatest. I had a cashier by the name of Fatima I believe, before I could walk up to her she look very angry I cant say that she didnt want to be there or that maybe she had something on her mind because I just dont know. I understand its hard to change your expression but if your personality meets your facial expression then to me you may be angry. No greeting, just started to scan a way. Anytime I visit this store the cashiers are very bland and not very interactive, it just seems as though they want you to get out the store as soon as possible. Hopefully my next visit here will not be so Bland. And this experience today does not hinder me from visiting Jo-Anns in the future.

Not one of my favorite locations however it is close to home when i need something quick. Customer Service associates are not always pleasant and dont appear to enjoy being at work. I can say I have encountered very pleasant employees at the fabric cutting counter. They are mostly the reasons I continue to return, otherwise I go out of my way to visit another location.

I love the selection this store has. I’m generally a fan of all Jo-Ann Fabrics stores. This one actually carries more than most which is great. It’s hard not to want everything in the store! However, I feel that the store is pretty unorganized & the signs are pretty unclear. It’s hard to find what you’re looking for usually. You’ll eventually find it, after you’ve picked up 20 other things in the meantime!

Everything is always findable here...Like really...Love the arts and crafts andthe different materials.

Never has what I am looking for however yesterday takes the Cake found fabric that was perfect seemed like there was 4 yard on the bolt couldnt be more excited until I got to the cutting counter.. it was in pieces ok fine I can work with that... The pieces however were two different shades of blue... Still ok needed a lighter shade thats fine... Nope two completely different types of fabric... Just got my beads and left. It was a wasted trip

Great store with lots in stock! It is a little difficult to navigate to know where everything is, and Joanns website isnt always accurate for whats actually in stock in the store. I would recommend going to the store even if something says not in stock online.

Very poor experience for the first time at Joannes Fabrics. I asked an African American worker ( with mustache) about the vinyl tablecloth . She rudely said find it on the back wall. I went twice but It couldnt locate them. She stayed behind her counter and didnt try to come out and help even though I was the only customer . When I found the big roll I tried to pull it but i couldnt because it was heavy I went again and asked for help all she said use both hands to pull it out! It was soooo rude of her! It was on Sunday 1/14/19 around 4 pm so if her manager read this message would talk to her and ask her to be nice to customers.

Friendly staff who are incredibly helpful, and they will even alert you to coupons available online to use during checkout. Ive saved lots of money buying very good craft tools and supplies. I couldnt find some specialty fabrics I was looking for and they were unable to order it for me, but that is to be expected with specialty items.

Went into Jo-Ann Fabrics looking for material to make a table runner. Always wanted to see if someone sold pressed leather skin. Found it there. Didnt have enough money. Will be back. Thank you Jo-Ann Fabrics.
