First visit to the Allen Park office in June 2021. Got a much needed exam and two pairs of glasses. Service was excellent. Can see so much better. Staff helped me picked out frames and I am so happy.

I have been going to the Visionary for many years. Looking to save money, I purchased my last pair of glasses elsewhere. Huge mistake! I’m back to The Visionary. My recent eye exam and selection of glasses was wonderful. I haven’t been able to see this well in quite a while. You get what you pay for. In this case, i am extremely happy with my experience and highly recommend The Visionary for your next eye exam and glasses!

We have gone there for a couple years and I’ve always loved it. HOWEVER, a few days ago my son got a piece of mechanical pencil in his eye. I called and they said come in by such in such time. I showed up exactly at that time. The optometrist casually saw patients while we waited. Now, I am not a person with a sense of entitlement, but you would think there would be some sense of urgency in getting it out. Then, when she tried, she lost patience with him because he was a) freaked out, and b) someone was coming directly at his eye with something. He got anxious, she said you’re not cooperating and gave us the address to an ophthalmologist office. THEY were so patient and took as long as needed to get that thing out.I understand we interrupted the entire flow of patients at the visionary, but emergencies happen. Plain and simple, we were not a priority at all. The ophthalmologist was shocked the actual eyeball wasn’t scratched due to the amount of time it was in there. I’m doubtful that I want to continue to take my family to The Visionary in the future.

Highly recommend. My family have been cared for by the Doctor and Staff at the Visionary for more than 10 years - caring and professional. If you looking for high quality care and products this is it. The Visionary!

This place is top notch. I was referred by a co-worker that said they are the best. He didnt lie at all. Great customer service, very thorough exams, very helpful, and they even just followed up with me to see how things were going with the new glasses that I got from them three weeks ago. Ive never had an eye doctor follow up like that. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone in search of an eye doctor!

Im very happy that I switched to the Visionary. (we formerly went a big chain brand) Dr. Ciak was very thorough. Jessica did an excellent job picking out frames for me. My wife was very happy with that! So, I got the sunglasses too! Now my family goes here exclusively. The whole team makes us feel very welcomed and comfortable. I recommend The Visionary.

The staff at The Visionary is excellent, always greets you when u come In and ready to serve you promptly. My eye exams are spot on when I get my new glasses . They also have a big Selection framed and the staff will is willing to select frames you might not realize you look great in! This is the place to go and see and be taken care of!

Asked for lens reduction, they stole my money. Did not reduce anything. Went to my old optometrist & they did a fantastic job.., sadly they’re super far. Do not recommend.

I have been bringing my daughter to these amazing ladies since she was 3. They have such patience with her and make her feel like she is their only patient and give her their full attention in helping her select new glasses. Not an easy task with a child! We now live 45 minutes away and still drive here for all of our glasses needs. Wonderful place and amazing staff!! A++++++++

The Doctors are great and the staff is wonderful. The prices are worth a little drive. They will never try to sell you glasses you dont look good in or something you do not need.

I have been going to the Visionary for years and love their service. I moved about 30 minutes away and still continue to use the Visionary for my eye care needs. They staff are friendly and helpful. Their appointments are always on time. I would recommend the Visionary to anyone.

Came here because of the reviews. I had glasses previously from another place which i accidentally stepped on one night. I had progressive lens with my old glasses. The Visionary did not recommend them. I asked the doctor at the exam about it even.I am the type who reads a lot of reviews on Amazon before purchase. I tend to take my time when I make a purchase. Well, when I arrived.. one female was sorta helping me find some glasses. I say sorta, because she didnt really do much to recommend glasses that work with my face shape. She seemed to just be handing me the more expensive glasses. When I didnt pick something right away she moved on to someone else. So female #2 comes over and pretty much picks up where she left off. I ended up feeling rushed and ended up with some frames I wish I wouldnt have got. Then to add on top of it, to read like a book or something on my cellphone I have to take my glasses off because I cant read anything close with them on.Once again I went because of the reviews... next week I have a new eye appointment with a different place. I went today to look at their glasses and they recommended glasses that would work best for my face shape. I well much more confident about the frames i picked this time. This is what I was expecting from the Visionary.

I have ordered regular prescription glasses and had them help me with a pair of prescription sunglasses. Every single time I have gone I felt taken care of, and like they helped me explore all my options. I am a very picky person and can be quite particular, they were more then happy to put up with my indecisiveness and steer me in the right direction. I have worked with almost all of the employees there and everyone was great and fun to work with. There is clearly a culture of positivity and support practiced at this office. Wish more places followed their lead!

I love this place! My glasses are perfect and I actually was fitted with contacts that I can see out of! I had quit wearing contacts because reading with them in was a problem. Not Anymore! Thank You Visionary!

I was having issues seeing my computer screen and hadnt been to an eye doctor in many years. They were able to get me in the very next day. They were all friendly and professional. I did have to order glasses and they were in within a week. I would highly recommend.

I love being a patient here. I moved out of state a few years ago and didnt even go for an exam while I was gone. When I moved back to Michigan, I went back to the Visionary. Then I moved farther away and went somewhere else...that was terrible. I drive over an hour to get my exam and glasses at this office. I have never had a bad experience here and I love the staff.

I am a new patient and now a big fan. I was in a bit of a dilemma when I was headed for vacation and learned at the last minute that my long term eye doctor no longer prescribed contacts. I didnt know what to do but when I called The Visionary, they were so accommodating I couldnt believe it. I got samples based on my previous rx and scheduled an appointment the week I returned. The eye doctor listened to everything I said and the exam was one of the most thorough Ive ever experienced (Ive been wearing contacts for at least 40 years). I was fitted for both contacts and glasses. Couldnt be happier with either the customer service or the medical care I received. I highly recommend checking them out!

I had my eye exam in May, Shortly after receiving my new RX I began having problems reading. Anette readjusted several times with no improvement. She suggested a re-exam. RX changed, new lenses and I could read again. Thank you. Deb
