I was originally told to check them out because the service was so amazing but the prices might be on the higher end. Turns out they were much cheaper for my dishwasher than Lowe’s and Home Depot for the same model and the service was exceptional. The installers were extremely nice and helpful even going above and beyond to fix the cabinet the dishwasher was going into free of charge. HIGHLY recommend!

I would highly recommend Allentown Appliance. I purchased all brand new appliances from Best Buy 5 months ago and they never were delivered. I went to Allentown Appliance and within 10 days all of my appliances were delivered and installed. The service was amazing. The owner, Joe and his team truly cared about our situation and made sure we were well taken care of. I recommend anyone looking for appliances to go directly to Allentown Appliance!

I was somewhat disappointed with the service I received from Allentown Appliance. I ordered all new kitchen appliances plus a washer and dryer last fall. (Kitchen Renovation) As we all know, Covid put delays on manufacturing and shipping, so we waited quite a bit for our appliances. I know that the manufacturing and shipping delays were not the fault of Allentown Appliance.Before expressing my disappointment, I will say upon talking to Al in December, he did provide me with a loaner oven/stove so I would be able to cook at bake at Christmas, since that appliance was not going to arrive on time. This is the type of customer focus I expected based on the recommendations I had received that led me to make my purchase here.What I was disappointed with was their lack of proactiveness. I would have thought that with all of the delays, they would have made regularly scheduled update calls or emails just to stay in contact with their customers. Each month I had to call them to get an update. The update was often it looks like 4 weeks, but no guarantees. Month after month. Once I called about the final appliance we were waiting on, and was told they had 9 coming in, and the orders would be filled in order, so if I was among the first 9 on their list of 36 people waiting, I would get a call. When I asked, I was told she could not see where I was on the waiting list. I did get the feeling when I called in a few times that we had been bumped down the line. And as I read the reviews here, it seems like there are many happy customers who, despite all the delays I experienced, had limited delays.I dont expect to need a new appliance anytime soon, since we have replaced them all. So, I cannot say if I would shop here again or recommend them without reservation.

Outstanding service. From the sales experience to the purchase, we were able to find a washer and dryer set for a great price. We checked the same units at a big-box store later and saw they were priced about $50 higher each. We will return to Allentown Appliance for all of our appliance needs. Thanks!

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Allentown Appliance! We were calling around multiple places to find a dishwasher bc the style we were looking for seems to be hard to find. We originally were looking for scratch and dent places to save some money and even though they do not sell scratch and dent appliances we went there bc of how nice Cheryl was on the phone. We are so glad we did, she was wonderful! She answered all our questions, took the time to go over all our options (some we didn’t even know we had as options). Ultimately we got a great deal on a brand new dishwasher that exceeded what we were looking for. We definitely would come back to AA for our next appliance purchase and I will be recommending them to everyone!!

Horrible experience. Walked in and two people helping customers at a desk. However, neither one acknowledged me or made sure I knew where to sign in. Was looking around then came back to desk, now lady who finished with the customer proceds to do small talk with other customer who the other salesman had been checking out. She completely ignored me as I spoke to her. Then proceeds to look at a list and take the next lady that had walked in over me, even though I had been waiting there for over 15 minutes. Then she rudely told me she was ahead of me because I didnt sign in, even after I told her I had been in the other room looking at appliances. So I left and gave my business (a fridge) to Best Buy. Thank you Best Buy for great customer service. The selection in this place is not only small, appliances are overpriced and nothing listed in the flyer was in the store. Buyer beware bait and switch and rude sales people. Who apparently cant multi-task and treat you like a number.

I tend to buy from big box stores . But after waiting for 4 months I still did not receive my cooktop that I purchased from Best Buy. Unfortunately for me and many others, we tend to forget the smaller appliance stores. Big mistake. Allentown Appliance was courteous and prompt. They delivered when promised. The technicians were excellent and could not have been more courteous. For any future appliance needs that I may have, I will purchase from Allentown Appliance.

Do not buy. About to take him to small claims if I do not get a response. Fridge leaking since we got it. He promised to send a tech or replacement and have not heard from him. Sent him multiple messages today my dog is sick with the leak and has not responded. Yet he has time to post the same fridge type we were looking to be replaced. This 4 month warranty is no good! We have the receipt and he is not honoring it by ignoring us. Been 4 weeks after he promised my husband to send a tech that knows what they are doing to come help. If I do not hear we will take him to court this week for vet bills

Had a wonderful experience here. The salesman was great with my elderly mother and really knew the products, pros and cons and what she would be interested in. You cant count on the depth of product knowledge at the big box stores, and they have a greater variety of brands here. She got a nice, simple Speed Queen washer that will Outlast the other brands more than twice over. If we didnt live 100 miles away, wed be going here as well for our appliances. They also care about the quality of what they sell.

Last month (November 2019) I purchased a washer, not much to say about the sales since I had decided which one to buy. Got installed about a week, the work of those guys who did installation is professional, quick and clean. $50 for towing away old one and installing the new one, I was quite satisfied.

They were willing to sell me the display model of a freezer at a discounted price so I could get an immediate replacement. Loaded it in my truck. Excellent service..highly recommend them!

I was very happy with the purchase and service we received from the staff at Allentown Appliance. I was pleased with the assistance I had when choosing a new oven. The salesman was very helpful by informing me of options to consider while choosing the new appliance. I was also very pleased with the installation of our new double oven. The technicians were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They installed the ovens and did the necessary adjustments to make them fit into my existing cabinet. It looks great and they left my kitchen as clean as it was when they arrived. I look forward to dealing with Allentown Appliance again in the future.

Recently purchased a dishwasher from Allentown Appliance. They were incredibly helpful at choosing a dishwasher which would fit our kitchen. They offered the best price we could find and the install crew was great. Wouldnt recommend buying an appliance anywhere else!Update: I tried ordering a refrigerator from them, but the eta was pushed back two months. In an effort to cancel my order, I tried calling, but they have an awful phone system if you arent dialing to a particular extension. It just constantly circles back to the menu and nobody ever answers the phone. Very aggravating experience.

Initial visit and subsequent visit to store to purchase induction cooktop were absolutely wonderful! Had to call multiple times to get install scheduled. No one at any time let us know what needed to be done by us prior to installation, even though multiple people asked if they were removing anything. My husband took a day off from work for them to install, only to find out that we were supposed to have the countertop cut. When my husband mentioned to the guys installing that we werent told that, he was told that they werent surprised in the least, customers are often not told important details. Multiple calls and emails still have us without our refund, although at this point it may only be a measly $16, due to them having to now charge us tax, even though it was their error. Initially raved about this company to family and friends only to now feel totally duped. Installation schedules need to make sure that customers are fully aware what needs to be completed prior to installation. Very disappointedUpdate: 12/27/19.... still have had no contact from company regarding any type of refund regarding installation or even taxes... guess Ill have to make a stop into the store personally....

These guys are great. Purchased a washer/dryer combo there a year ago and the service/delivery/install was excellent. Their prices were exactly comparable to the big box stores with the added benefit of installation. Ill be getting all of my appliances here going forward.

Salesperson was very nice. Process went ok - Was disappointed that I was not told that the GE range I bought was a discontinued model. It was on sale for $1,295 down from $1,700. After I got home I went on line and saw same range for $999 at 3 different places. Was also unhappy the slide in range could not slide all the way back(which past ranges did no problem). If I had it to do again, I would have not bought the GE range.

This store carries overpriced appliances and dont realize that clients in this economy shop. Yes, we have the right to shop - both to find what we actually want and at a price were confident is fair.I have built many homes over the years and never run into the kind of obnoxious attitude the people in this store exhibit when they dont win the bid for a full kitchen of appliances.Eleven (yes, 11!) years ago I approached this company to outfit a custom home kitchen. At the time they didnt carry one of the items I was looking for, so I went to another company and bought everything there at the time and at a substantially better price. I have purchased several smaller items there in the last few years. I went to Allentown Appliance today to purchased 3 or 4 more pieces for another home I am building. The owner threw paper at me, yelled like a child, berated and insulted me over the fact that I didnt buy his overpriced pieces the last time. I calmly ask why he was carry an 11 year old grudge. He yelled louder. For the record, I saved over $2000. from the other company the last time, and got the exact items I was looking for, not substitutions which was all he could offer.You know what? Hes right, and I will never darken his doorstep again! I hope you wont either. Any big box store, Keifer Appliance or another small business would be more than happy for your business, but Allentown appliance clearly doesnt need it!

Purchased a $4,000 cooktop for christmas present for wife, they could not deliver or install on such short notice,witch is understandable. picked up cooktop and installed christmas eve as surprise for wife also so she could make christmas dinner for multiple guests. they gave me a conversion kit to change from ng to lp gas witch we installed on cooktop. to my surprise the cooktop did not work !! the parts the salesman ordered were the wrong parts ! my wife was devastated that she could not cook for th 16 people we had for christmas ! called store on the 26th and told my salsman al what happened ( had to give him the right part # i got from thermador (i called myself to get part # ) no calls back only an email telling me there looking for part and we can use 1 of the 4 burners!!! really, cooking for 16 people on 1 burner !! called again no call back, had to talk to manager and she informed me the are trying to get from different supplier, (after i found 3 companies on internet that could send overnight and told salesman al ) understandably upset especially since were having 10 people for new years !!!! final outcome they are supposed to get part tomorrow dec 29th i will follow up and let you all know the outcome. P.S. i know mistakes happen but to not know the product your selling and worse not return phone calls is unacceptable!joe pisarriUpdate Dec 29thGot a call from Ed 7:30 am said he was delivering parts to my house, he came around 8am thank God!
