Good business. People are easy to get along with and they help you with anything you need.

Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. They speak down to their customers and are very unprofessional. Once my fiancee and I were in the store and a group of three employees were talking negatively about another employee, who was in another room with the door open, in front of customers. They bring their personal lives into work as well and have no respect for the company. One doesnt even wear a name tag (probably because she is the worst of them). I will gladly take my business to another facility as the company itself is fine. Its just the employees in Alma rent a center that dont seem to have any respect or people skills. DONT work customer service if you dont want to work with the public. I also brought a laptop in there to be serviced and they told me they would call when it was done and I waited 2 weeks and went back in there and they said oh yeah weve had that laptop back. UNPROFESSIONAL. I hope they treat other customers better. I am surprised they are still in business.

Worst RAC ever. First red flag I needed a Washer/ Dryer set the one I wanted was on back order so they brought me a cheaper set. I called and called and was told for months that it was still on back order. Finally I gave up asking because I had already paid so much on the cheap set. Then a week before the 6 months same as cash date came around, I called got my total to pay it off. The day it was due I got online to pay it off (which is how I made all my payments) and the app wouldnt let me change the amount to pay, it would only let me pay in bi-weekly payments. Being after hours I called the next day to be told my 6 month date was the day before (same day I tried to pay it off online). I was told they would call their district manager and see what they could do. Never got a call back and now I have to finish out the contract paying $300 extra. Never again I will call another company next time.

The staff are professional and courteous. They really try and get you what ever you need.

Love the place but not happy about how much more you pay for things. Currently buying a laptop through them for triple the price I could pay online. I love that I can make payments it helps the buying process. But the overall price on the items are way to much

Im getting the run-around on getting our washer replaced. Rent a center.com says we either get washer of same value or we get money back. Weve gotten neither and its been over a week with the Alma, Michigan branch.

Had a complaint and I filled it out via website and email. Adam is amazing and he will take care of you. We are still a customer because of him. Hes a higher up. He care about you as a customer. Super respectful and kind.

Rent-A-Center is a joke you can come in put $20 down and then never make an on-time payment all you have to do is refuse them at the door and then make a payment whenever youre good and ready May hire idiots to work at the front desk who cant figure out their job after being there for 2 years they have district managers who dont know how to run a f****** business to save their life when a customer makes a complaint to the district manager all she did was give them anything they want it if a customer made a complaint against an employee she would take the customer side without any proof of the accusation all in all you can get great s*** there make payments whenever you want make partial payments half a payment here and there and theyll keep you on rent the entire time speaking from experience I just got fired there as a sales manager for 9 months I got fired because I told the customer that I will accept a $41 payment on a bill that was $77 and had previous altercations with this customer who was a repeat offender of late payments and partial paymentsthe entire structure of the company is a joke its based around giving people merchandise they cant afford with low income families knowing that theyll have to repossess it and then making turn around and rent it to somebody else

Got a gas dryer from them. It caught on fire the first time I used it. Now they wont return my payments. Even the one they took after I told them to come get the dryer.

They know us by name and are always willing to help. They have been very professional and have always been good to us. We have a couch set, tv and fridge with them. We wouldnt go anywhere else. Stephanie is yhe best.

Biggest joke of a business establishment ever!!! Me and my fiace went in yesterday to get a new bedframe and set only customer their and it took over an hour for us to get checked out after picking out the set we wanted. One of the managers Brandon went on to complain and complain about how no one liked him because he just became a manager and how nobody did their job correctly besides him. He was just arrogant and very dramatic. This ofcourse irritated us and made us uncomfortable but we just wanted the frame so we just bared with it until we left. Now cut to today with the severe weather our frame couldnt be delivered which we understood and wanted to move our account to the Mount Pleasant branch so we drove down to the alma store and my fiance goes in too just chaos. A manager walks out and the same manager we dealt with yesterday is even more arrogant and just not a good customer care person whatsoever. Begins to argue with my fiance and accusses him of lying afrer we cancelled our bed order and wanted our refund so we could move our business elsewhere. After finally the storr manager comes back and gives us our refund the snotty manager brandon or whatever his name was remarks that they send refferals between stores implying that because we changed our business he was give us a poor review. So angry and disgusted right now sorry for any grammatical errors.
