This is the 3rd time we have taken our truck there. It took them 6 months to get it fixed last time we took it there. When we got it back there was grease on my dash, seats, and console. We just took it in Wed for a 2 pm appointment and here it is Friday havent heard a thing from them. My husband called and we were told call back we havent had time to look at it we have been way to busy. Then why set up appointments? Not very happy this is my only vehicle and they didnt have a loaner. Will NOT recommend these guys to anyone. Nor will my vehicle go back. Only reason it went this time is they misdiagnosed my warranty issue..
With two Ford trucks, I see these guys a couple times a year. Sometimes something broken, sometimes for the Fast Lane. Never a bad experience for the last 9 years.I feel they do their best to make things easy, are very accessible to ask questions. Its nice when you part company and everyone is still smiling.

We came in late on a Friday so we had to finish everything up Saturday morning. She came in even though it was her day off to make sure we were taken care of. Amazing experience. They messed up everything. Took the money from the bank (for a new truck) and kept it for a week so i had to pay interest on my loan. But I never got my truck!! They made me miss out on 3 trucks. l would suggest a different Ford dealer. The one in Gaylord is good (Bill Marsh)
I could not speak more highly of a car dealership then this one. Eddie put my son and daughter-in-law in a Chevy Tahoe and he took great care of them from start to finish. Terry worked with my father in law on a car and also spent time speaking with us as a family, he never rushed to talk or get away from us, he actually talked and listened. This will be the ONLY place we buy vehicles from for the rest of our lives!!’
On my First stop at this dealership, I was greeted with enthusiasm and asked if I could be helped. They got me in immediately for an oil and lube, with in 20 minutes they were finished and then proceeded to give my vehicle a wash and dry. During this time the Service Advisor asked me if I had the Ford Pass App on my cell and if not I could install it and by doing so my service visit would be free of charge due to the points on my Ford Pass from previous services.This will be my Dealership of choice from now on even though it is further away than my local dealership, because they cared.Highly Recommend!
Ok..I get the need to reach out and try to get a sale, but this dealership called me EIGHTEEN times in one day UNSOLICITED! I dont live in Alpena, Im not looking for a Ford and I certainly didnt give them my contact info. Over the weekend, I calmed down and thought maybe it was fluke and a phone number got mixed up. Then I got the mail. Letters trying to sell me a car, offers to buy my current car (with correct make, model and year )and a hand written note. And then more phone calls. Seriously...if this is how they handle unsolicited business, I certainly wouldnt step a toe on their lot! Pushy isnt even the word. A call, maybe a mailer is more than sufficient but that many phone calls? Complete turn off!

Never have issues with oil changes or service.
My dad and mom took their car yesterday to get a lot of work done. They had the car all day, we assumed they were getting all the problems fixed, they called at 10 till 5:00 with an estimate. Talk about poor service, never again.

First they never put my appointment in the computer so I show up and they look at me like I made the mistake but I showed them the paper that they wrote the date and time then after spending 300 getting it fixed my abs light now is going on but they say any work they did could not have caused it now they want me to spend another 50 to look at it and tell me how much more its going to cost to fix it I am sorry but dont you only have to hook up a machine to get the code from the car so it tells you why its on grrrrr. Money hungry is all that is.
Went looking for a pre owned F-150 or another Ford car and found 2 that I liked a 2016 F-150 and the 2017 Explorer that I and my wife decided to buy (Explorer), your sale staff was very helpful and not pushy about which vehicle I should purchase, test drove both and told your salesman Tim Potter that I would talk it over and get back with him the next day called and by the time I got to the dealership all the paperwork was ready and within I would say an hour I was on my way with my new Explorer and both of us are very happy with our purchase and will recommend your dealership to any one who ask, Thank you for your service and look forward to working with you again next time I need anything for my car or decide to buy another car or truck, .
Im from Jackson Mi and was driving home from Grand Lake. My truck started giving me problems and the check engine light came on. I had my family and my 73 year old motherinlaw in the truck. I stopped at Dean Arbor and asked if they would look at the truck. I explained my situation and they got me in right away and got me back on the road with a temporary fix. When I asked how much I owed them, they just responded, Nothing, just get home safe. Never have I had a dealership give me that type of response. What great people, I cannot say enough good things about them. When I buy a new or used vehicle, I will gladly drive back up to Alpena to give these people my business. Thank You, Dean Arbor Ford!!!

Called to ask about having 2 tires mounted and balanced and they said $40 i mentioned that the dodge dealer would do them for $25 and they just blew it off as well thats what we get paid so i will wait until there is availability at another shop. Price gouging because they have the available time and techs will never do business with them after that call

Buying my new truck was a truly pleasant experience. The truck was prepped and ready at the appointed time, my salesperson Steve Vam came in on his Saturday day off to complete the sale for my convenience, and no one in the dealership tried to pressure me into up scales for things I did not want such as extended warranties and insurances. The whole process was very pleasant.

We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful when we leased our 2019 Escape, but we were really impressed when we found ourselves locked out of our car when the entry code erased itself. We were on vacation, 6 hours into a 10 hour drive, and on a whim we decided to call the dealership. All of us, including a 3 year old, were stranded in a restaurant parking lot. It was our lucky day, because George was working. He answered the phone and after verifying our identity, was able to provide the master code and we were able to unlock our car. George saved the day, and our vacation.
The sales and service staff are A+ at Dean Arbour. We have bought or leased our last 8 vehicles there without a hitch. Always taken care of like we were rock stars, alot stemming from our excellent salesman, Dave Reed. The financing crew are top notch also, with all paperwork going fast and smooth.
Barbara and Kasey were wonderful. We told them exactly what we wanted, we didnt want to spend the day at the dealership. We did it all on the phone, came in, signed, and drove away 45 minutes later. Everyone was wonderful.

I didnt make an appointment for an oil change on my 2018 F150, but the service in-take person accepted my vehicle right-away. Oil change done, tires rotated, and basics checked and inspected. And vehicle washed. All in about an hour. Also a reasonable price. Thanks Dean Arbour. Ill will be continuing to come back for future vehicles and service.Just leased a new 2021 Ford Explorer. The whole lease experience was very smooth and easy. This is the 2nd vehicle we have leased. Mark was outstanding in handling both. All those who we have dealt with are very good people. Did a great job repairing my Ford Flex. Repaired some parts that were worn out on the rear suspension. Had to order the parts and called as soon as parts came in and scheduled an appointment and made the repairs and washed the vehicle!! Very satisfied!!! Recently had my 2013 Ford Edge in for the oil change, tire rotation and complete checkup. Jeff and Cory are great guys!! Explain the service being done to my car get me in and out very quickly and the car is even washed!!!

As always my experience here was excellent. The prices are MUCH more reasonable than the dealership I must deal with when Im in Florida. Dean Arbour recovered my entry code at NO EXPENSE compared with the Florida dealership that wanted $60 to do so. I do not have any trepidations dealing with Dean Arbour whether it be the sales staff or the guys doing maintenance.

The assistant service manager reviewed my vehicle when I brought it back in just the day after it was service. We had some problems that were addressed by lifting our F-350 up on the hoist to repair. Repairs were satisfactory, but in doing so the top of our roof was dented in beyond being able to be pulled out. When the assistant service manager got up in the back of the box, he was showed the damage that wasnt there when we brought it in. He stated he knew what happened, he had seen it before. He proceeded to get us set up to have the repair man fix the dents. When the vehicle was brought in for repair they said it was to deep to be extracted. When the Service Manager called to explain to us the problem with fixing it he told us that he was just trying to help us get it fixed, that his shop was not responsible for the damage. There were no dents when it came in. We have a shop of our own, with no lifts and its a quanset building. There are no edges to make dents. We are very unhappy with this outcome and it makes us hesitant to bring the vehicle back for future repairs. Now we have a nice truck with dents in the top which deflate its value.
