My husband and I drove from New Oxford Pa to Altoona to the dealership.. Approx 156 miles. We spoke with the salesman, Ron, before we left our home and inquired about the 2014 Mazda Miata on the lot. We were told the car was a 1 owner, never wrecked, and it would be ready to go when we got there. We had check in hand. When we got there,, we looked the car over and went to the salesman desk. He took my husbands information and went to the finance guy. We sat and sat waiting. Finally this guy came out and told us there was a little problem with the title, just a few more minute wait! Then we were told to come back to the finance office. My husband inquired if the title was straightened out. We were told we would discuss it in his office. REALLY! This idiot wanted to take our money, send us on our way with a DEALER tag, no registration all the way back to New Oxford., We were also informed that if the title was not straightened out (which is on them to do) they could come and take the car from us!! Now keep in mind, they have our money! What the hell planet did these DICK HEADS come from? Did they think we were that stupid? I spoke with my bank and I have personally been in banking 30 years and never heard of such a crooked way to sell a vehicle. My banker said this deal sounds so shady! Dont do it!! What a bunch of crooks!! Stay away from this place!! They have no morals! I may follow up on other ways to file a complaint against them. This was more than ridiculous, it was very deceiving to us, the customer!! Very shady!!
