I liked this place. Good selection of craft beer and helpful staff. I would stop in to fill the fridge when I am in the area. I selected quite a few 4 packs and had them rung up. I handed my credit card over to pay and was informed there would be a 3%fee to use the credit card. Luckily my wife had enough cash otherwise all the beer we picked out would have had to been put back on the shelves. In todays market the use of credit cards is common and I find it odd that a business would find it necessary to inconvenience customers. There are other beer distributors that I will now be looking into which I had not thought of until this credit card policy was put into place.

The staff are all helpful, and they have the BEST selection of craft beer in the area.

If you like good music, good beer variety and great service check these guys out. I typically stop in once a week to pick up a beer that isn’t sold everywhere commonly. If you make it a point to ask them to get a brand you want or a specific beer they do a pretty good job of making it happen within a few weeks if it’s available. Seriously hard to beat their variety of quality brew. They sell singles and make your own packs. Best beer store in Altoona, change my mind.

Ive been going to brew zoo for quite sometime (50min to get there btw) fantastic craft beer selection from different states. I travel to there because I know I wont be dissapointed when I leave. Great store
