I never write reviews, but if I could give this place more stars, I would! Everyone is SO friendly & helpful. We had the easiest time purchasing a car from them as well as getting it serviced here.

My husband and I have gotten and serviced our vehicles through Wilmes for many years. Alicia and Jeff always go above and beyond to meet our needs and the service department and Moses are always so pleasant to deal with as well. 100% recommend them!

Words are hard to find to describe Wilmes Ford. They are THE BEST!!!! We always deal with Scott but any of the sales people are ready and willing to help. They go above and beyond to please you and make everything right.

Im about a angry with Wilmes Ford as I ever have been with any company. I took my 2020 Fusion (5,700 miles) in for maintenance because the shifter dial is very difficult to turn. (My wife cant turn it; I can barely turn it. We have to turn it all the way to drive before turning it back to reverse, or it will keep on going back to park on its own. )The dealer said it wasnt covered under warranty because of the debris (pictured, if you can see it. There isnt much. Photos taken while we were waiting for the paperwork at the dealer.) That amount of debris is what I call NORMAL USE, (edit - Id actuall call it pretty darned clean) and if that causes a malfunction, there is a defect.No more Fords. (edit - I had a great experience at another dealer, so ... maybe). No more Wilmes. (Edit - Absolutely no more Wilmes) (I didnt buy this one there because they has no SE models in stock; I did buy my 2017 Focus there.Edit /Follow up - I took may car to another dealer and they fixed it under warranty with no issues. I had them send photos of the removed part - no sign of any debris. I asked the tech if there was any possibility it was cause by debris, and he answered there was no debris.If you didnt buy your car at Wilmes (Altus AFB is right there - if you PCSd in and own a Ford) take it elsewhere. If you did buy it there, I still wouldnt trust them.

Have been going there for over a decade, and bought several vehicles from there. Salesmen dont give you direct and honest answers. Service Department is not on top of things when it comes to safety recalls going through the NHTSA.

Wilmes Ford Body Shop is absolutely terrible. Geico pretty much forced me to get the hail damage repaired there. The headliner was ripped up upon completion. The wrong rear window was installed, it should have been factory tinted but, the replacement isnt. By the way the rear window wasnt supposed to get replaced. The front window had silicone all around it and all over it. After the first major rain storm (Today) my truck is saturated, due to the windshield leaking. The newly installed door trim was falling off by the time I got home. What pushed me over the edge for both locations, was I took my wifes car to the Chevy house and they quoted $1400.00 to replace the water pump. After calling three different Chevy houses we received three quotes for around $740.00 everyone was consistent with the exception of Wilmes. I am completely done, and dont want anything to do with the Wilmess. They may be good ol boys but, that just doesnt work for me. Now I just want to get rid of my truck, I feel like I had something stolen from me. I dont even trust them to change my oil without either making a mess of it or overcharging me. I am not one to just bash people but, beware. Do yourself a favor and get 3 separate quotes before having any work done, the lowest bidder may not be the best but, at least you have something for comparison.Stay Blessed!

It’s honestly amazing to me that this shop is open. They’ve never answered my questions when I would call about my car. They treated me as a parent scolding a child would when I called to ask questions regarding why they hadn’t even started on my car for 7 days. Hire better people, hire people who can manage their temper, hire people who aren’t absolutely incompetent, hire people who can answer questions about their own damn job. Over the years, Wilmes Service Dept has continued to take care of my transportation needs by maintaining two high mileage (220K & 260K) vehicles. Both vehicles are continue to run as if they had 200,000 less miles on them than they do!

Jeff Wilmes backed out of a agreed upon deal because it didn’t make him enough money. They had already ran my credit and gotten the loan approved for a Consignment vehicle they had on the lot. I have bought several vehicles from Janet over the years but after this train wreck and completely backing out of the deal I will not be back! Can’t recommend a shady local dealership that is willing to treat a repeat customer this badly. I even offered to put the 500 dollars he was throwing a tantrum about back into the vehicle and go with it. They refused to deal with me. So my credit got dinged and the deal was approved by the bank but because we talked to the owners of the consignment car and they took 500 off for us Jeff refused to work with us. Completely ridiculous way to treat a local repeat customer. Well let me say a FORMER customer because we will not be back!

Don’t waste your time or money here (Ford body shop)! I had a vehicle with deer damage that was relatively minor. Had to wait 3 weeks to get my vehicle in the shop then it was there for two and a half months. They tried to give it back to me multiple times with a missing seal, jerry rigged workmanship on the fender and a dent where the deer hit. When I finally got the vehicle back it still wasn’t right and there was bird poop on the vehicle of which they did nothing about. This should have been a one week fix, no problem. Also one of the courtesy cars they let me borrow broke down. They did do a good job getting to me right away and dropping off a different courtesy car fairly quickly. When I finally got the vehicle back they did not apologize or anything. Overall they were dishonest, performed very poor workmanship on my vehicle and would not keep me in the loop about the status of my vehicle unless I called them. I heard good things initially but was very disappointed and after more research realized they’ve done this to many other customers.

Brought my car in two weeks ago to get the air conditioning checked out due to it not staying cool and blowing hot air. Two weeks later I bring it in for an oil change and to have the air conditioning checked again due to it still not working right after them telling me it had no leaks the first time. They only changed my oil after forgetting to even come pick up my car like scheduled. Then when I come get the car they havent checked to see why my air conditioning isnt working right again. So after waiting two hours to get the car we are having to wait again due to them not looking in the first place...

We use Wilmes Ford service for both of our Ford vehicles. The service is always done well and at a truly reasonable price. The people are wonderful and treat customers with importance while explaining the service needed or done in detail. Have been a customer there for 17 years for a reason.

I have a four month long horror story revolving around a lemon F-150 purchased at a different dealership in April. A different Oklahoma Ford dealer sold me a brand new truck that ended up having interior trim problems, rust all over the rear-diff and suspension, and eventually a failed cam-shaft phaser (mechanical in the engine). Wilmes Ford fixed the trim problems and diagnosed the engine problem. The rust could not be corrected because the Ford warranty wouldnt pay Wilmes to remove it. Wilmes Ford loaned me a car for what ended up being two months. Those two months were filled with Corporate Ford stringing Wilmes along with replacement parts for my original F-150. Wilmes needed just one part but big Ford would not supply. This story ends with Jeff and Scott Wilmes taking it to the man for what is right. They peeled away the bureaucratic layers within Corporate to satisfy the customer. It was VERY clear, early on, that Wilmes Ford prioritizes customer loyalty. I was witness to some of the tele-conferences held by Jeff with Corporate. It was a serious battle. Wilmes Ford was able to fight and get me a replacement vehicle - one that was built as it should have been in the first place. It wasnt an easy fight, and Wilmes went out on a limb to make it right for me.Two more side notes: first, my selling dealer refused to take on the buy-back/replacement program for the lemon the sold me; and second, that lemon is still sitting on the Wilmes property three months later waiting for a part from big Ford. That should tell you something. I recommend Wilmes Ford and the team for your future Ford needs.

My car was bought used but the previous owner also works there. I wrecked my car in October and its just like brand new thanks to them. I have learned more about my car since I wrecked. Like the fact my car has remote start. The body shop guys and gal are awesome as well as service, they get my car in and out when I need an oil change or other services!

Had an EGT sensor replaced in my diesel F350 under warranty. They did the job in a day, whereas a previous sensor repair took 3 days at a Ford in Sante Fe NM. Its working fine now. Good Job.

Took my husbands car here about a month ago. His car wont start. Said it needed an upper cam which had been replaced a week before. They wanted to charge us $600 for it and said it looked old. They fixed something with the key and they car turned on but then died again once at the house. I heard bad comments from all wilmes places in Altus. Heard they replace parts on cars for old ones and break things on cars to get you to come back. My husbands car is currently sitting in our drive way, a town away. It wont start and we have a newborn at home.

Was told I would be given a pickup to drive while warranty work was being done on my 2017 F250. Instead I was given a Ford Focus with 100,000 miles that was dirty.Nothing like driving a $60,000 truck in and leaving in a $600 cracker box.

Had a vehicle towed there had to have it towed somewhere else the next day. Wish Chris would have told me they didnt have time to work on it before I had it towed there. Whatever you do do not ask her service department questions they get pretty rude on the phone.
