Well stocked, clean meat and veggies look good

Counters are empty of most goods i buy and name brand goods are not being restocked. I have special ordered canned items in the past and Carla was real excellent in helping me receive these. These items are not available anymore.

Great service, Friendly, respectful staff. Meat prices are a tiny bit below average on the street prices.

Enjoyed picking up ingredients for our homemade italian dinner!!! Pasta and sauce and meatballs were homemade but we did get the premade garlic bread!!!

Not bad prices and I love that I can find gluten free stuff but the produce is not to my standards. Its just a 4 out of 5 for the produce. Need more variety. Need to throw out some of it and replace it. I worked in produce in other grocery stores and we threw out if it had any blemishes. It actually sells better that way because then you sell more and faster. They said if I bring in barcodes of items that I need that they dont sell they could try to get them psk thats a plus but some items are more expensive then aldis. But for the most part its not bad and the staff is so friendly. They do a great job and the sushi is fresh and its a 4 out of 5. I think they try really hard but its not their fault what gets sold there. So hopefully they can get in what I need . But all in all its nice to have around and so i give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Small, but nice commissary. The staff was friendly and they had plenty of stuff on the shelves.

Not bad though they are out of stock alot just after mid day on quite a few of the basics (bread, egg whites etc).

Small but fairly well stocked for its size. The best fresh fruit and vegetables in town. Meat section is very good. Great stock people, very helpful and knowledgeable. Cashiers are great as are the carry out people. Facilities are clean and newly refurbished.

I enjoyed todays visit. People were very helpful, plite, all with a smile on their face. They had a map that was also very helpful, to let you know where things are.

Altus Commissary while being smaller than some other AFB Commissaries offers big service and friendly help. Recently they have even started offering fresh made Sushi. Try out the deli for amazing cut meats and cheese and the bakery for super awesome custom decorated cakes and delicious breads and rolls.

Better dairy, meat and poultry prices compared to in-town. They also have better cut choices. Ice cream and deli are comparable to United Supermarkets [the Texas kind, not the Oklahoma ones...]. The staff are very pleasant and helpful when you are looking for particular items. I havent had a bad experience there yet. Even with surcharge, sometimes it truly pays to shop at your DECCA Commissary.

Always proud to use a benefit I earned! The commissary is one of the best benefits we have! Needs to be maintained a little better. (Attention to detail, even the small details)! But the staff is friendly, courteous, and eager to assist.

Kinda small, yet decent Commissary. Wish they the sell by date wasnt within a month away on some goods. Usually still have to go to Wal-Mart anyways to get some stuff we need. Wish they opened at 0800 on weekdays instead of 1000. Staff is great and very kind, except for a couple. They could be a little more respectful and kins.

Always clean but they have less items now and I end up having to go to Walmart when I wanted to only have to shop one store instead of two.

Definitely cheaper than Walmart and a solid selection. Deli sandwiches were a little lighter than I’ve experienced at other commissaries. Where’s the meat?!

I stopped two workers and asked where an item was located and they both pointed me in the right direction, with which side of the isle and even what shelf, they were both spot on. The carry out man was very helpful and friendly and so was the cashier.

The renovations were a much needed improvement. When the small wrinkles get smoothed out I will review again.

Clean, love the prices, but some of the shelves needed stocking. And this was probably due to the recent government shut down. Its ashame that our heroes and their families have to suffer every time the government cant make up its mind about something.

All items needed were present, vegetables fresh, meats cut to desired portions. Exemplary Commissary at Altus Air Force Base.

There was no notice concerning retirees are not permitted to shop at the commissary. I was not aware that needed a special letter to shop. More publicity should be put out on base rule changes during this crisis. Thank you. I believe I served my country well.

Im grateful to have one however, when we do our weekly or bi-weekly visits we end up still having to go to Walmart. Selection is okay but could be better. Lastly, the sell by dates on the shelves are close to my purchase date. Need better stock rotation.

Small Commissary with a friendly staff. Selection is what you expect from a small store, but they are working to improve it. Quality is great, and prices are better than down town!
