My first time there. They Fixed the ac in my car at a good price.Very happy with their work

Originally I posted as 3 star, NOT for mechanical service quality, but for Policy changes. There service has always been 5 star. Anthony rocks. I have used them for years.

I needed the carrying bearing replaced on my vehicle. Took it in to the shop and talked to Anthony. I was quoted a price and agreed to it. Left my driveshaft with him. He replaced it only to find out my ujoint was cracked long story short and 2 u-joints later problems arose to where they couldnt put the joint on. Anthony made me believe there are good people in this world still. The shop had my drive shaft for over a month replaced the carrying bearing as agreed on but he being the awesome caring person he is saw what a hard time I was having and found it in the goodness of his heart not to charge me anything. I am so beyond grateful and will forever remember the kindness he showed me when I really needed it the most!!! Thank you Anthony and all the people that work at the shop!

The team at The Shop worked dilegently to diagnose an engine light issue with our Suburban that always went off once we dropped it off to them. Their ability to address computer diagnostics problems helped repair our ( my wifes) Suburban and return it to us allowing us to drive it with confidence knowing it has been professionally repaired. They were upfront with us explaining procedures and costs so there werent any surprises. We are repeat customers and will continue to be customers of The Shop!! Thanks yall!!

This is the most trustworthy automotive repair shop you will ever find. They are extremely knowledgeable in both gasoline and Diesel engines. Top to bottom, bumper to bumper - they do it all. Admittedly (and regretfully) I’ve used other shops out of convenience but they don’t compare to the VALUE I get from The Shop. Their attention to detail, willingness to go above and beyond, and the value added benefit has earned them a customer for life!

They will take care of and back their work. They are my first choice when it comes to my vehicle issues.

The work crew at The Shop really took care of us! Honesly I thought $420 for a oil pan gasket and oil filter housing gasket which I was buying all the parts was high. But thats what they are charging for labor.

Very helpful and knowledgeable, with FAST service; was in and out within the hour when having an engine mount replaced. Anthony is very friendly, and he really will call you back if he needs to check on parts/pricing/appointment booking. Will definitely be taking my vehicle here for the foreseeable future.

I have had multiple vehicles worked on by The Shop over the past 10 years. I have always been pleased with the final outcome. There have been times I have had to bring my vehicle back because troubleshooting is the most difficult task in many professions. However, the effective communication and professionalism from a company that stands behind their work is hard to find. I dont search for the cheapest mechanic. I found the most reliable and honest to work on my vehicles.

Took my 2004 Ford Explorer there for an oil leak. They quoted for repairing a couple of sources of the leak. When they got into it they discovered that it was only leaking from one spot. They could have charged for fixing both and I would have known any different. Honest shop! I will be returning.

My family and I have used the shop for many years. They do great work and get you back on the road quick. For a while we had some issues with their staff but they have had management changes and are once again on our top list to get work done.

I have used The Shop for several of my different vehicle repairs and each time everyone was very courteous and efficient. My car was done the same day each time (minor repairs). When they first opened i took my car there because i blew the engine, the owner (Kris) worked with me and understood i was a single mom with limited funds, helped me find a place to get an engine for a fair price and installed the new one for a fair price. Highly recommend these guys...great work, fair price!

Went back in to get a mistake that I found fixed. Was told that they would fix it, no charge. No grief or denial, even though the work was done 3 years ago, they still were eager to fix the problem. This is an amazing group of people from every aspect of the word go! They went out of their way to help me and do so quickly with no hesitation! They charged me a fair rate and did not attempt to bam-boozle me with the change the blinker fluid trick because im a woman! Very honest and easy to deal with....would recommend to anyone! I even referred to my parents when my mother got stuck in galveston to which Kris sent a wrecker down to retrieve her suburban, repair her front end, and didnt charge a crazy fee to do so! The Shop performed excellent work on my company vehicle. My AC went out and I was short on time, they let me use a loner car while they repaired my vehicle and I was able to make my scheduled meetings. My AC is fixed now with no problems. Thanks ShopMike

In Oct. 2011, I spent $1,023.00 total for repairs at the Shop to repair the engine after the Timing Belt broke. 5 months later, the timing belt breaks again under their 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. At this time they are tap dancing around their slip shod work saying it was the fault of a mechanic they fired. They want to stick me with repair work despite the warranty because they didnt replace an idler arm the first time they repaired the car. If I cant come to terms with them, I will have the car taken to A+ Auto in Alvin where I trust the mechanics. Buyer Beware of The Shop. On Feb. 15, 2012, the General Manager Anthony refused to honor the 1year/ 12,000 mile warranty and wouldnt negotiate on repairs. I had my car removed from The Shop.

A little bit pricey, but fair and hard working. Probably the only place in Alvin that wont try to rip you off.
