Just wanted to say a bunch of nice things about Sandy and the store in general. The other day there was a miscommunication - I had called earlier in the day for an item to be held, telling the employee that Id be by just before closing. This employee hadnt communicated that when he went off shift and the store sold my item (the last one in stock for many miles around) just minutes before my 6:45pm arrival (I had driven close to an hour to reach that store). I wasnt upset, my life is bigger than one item. But the reaction of your employees was critical. Had they been apathetic I would never have come back. Yet Sandys response was exceptional. Simply I knew that she cared and that she would do anything and everything possible to make it right. I was a person to her, not an inconvenience, and it showed. So yes, Harbor Freight mucked up; this happens sometimes. But Sandys reaction made me a customer for life. She blessed me that day. Thank you for a great experience Sandy!

The Amherst store is well worth the extra travel from Derry for me. Very helpful employees and the manager actually set my items aside until I could get there. I did not have good interactions with the manager at the Manchester store. He needs education on customer service.

I love this place, but today was horrible.I spent about $400.00/mth.so Im well versed as to where everything is. When an employee walks past you without asking if you need anything is bad.I was looking for some black tarps.He asked if i looked on the shelf...I will make sure not to talk to that person again.

The workers are so rude . They could care less if you was spending money In There . They complain about the manager and poor pay . I dont want to hair it . Pay them more or teach them how to talk to customers

A five star Harbor Freight location. Access is easy with plenty of parking. Good size store, clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful and I asked a few questions. Mind you, youre not going to find top quality professional tools here, but when youre looking for good value for light use this is the place to come. In addition, some of their hand tools such as wrenches and sockets actually carry a lifetime no-questions-asked guarantee. Not a bad deal.

Its an awesome store and it helps to get a free account with them and the people there are super help full and awesome

You know, this spot suits my own personal needs because I know what I want, I know what I dont want to pay and I also realize they have enough choices to save money, or to buy something that will last and is durable enough to spend the extra cash on. It doesnt focus on aproned people roaming the aisles, but also doesnt men you cut get help...its more of a soft customer service approach spot and in the age of information, do your homework, find the price you want, and go in and check it out. They do have a limited return policy and they gladly, seriously, assist in helping larger items to you vehicle. They have a lot of useful items that is worth a look even if youre a skeptic.

Honestly for a smaller hardware type place compared to the usual Giants they often have what Im looking for when Home Depot or Lowes dont. Its worth the 30 minute drive or more to get out to this place

Absolutely irresponsible, and unrespectful business practice. They don’t have too many of them around and it takes time to drive up to the store. I came yesterday over an hour before closing and they were closed. Today I came 2.5 hours after openning hour and they are closed. Somebody says they are cleaning. Come on! How about cleaning outside business hours and a little respect to your customers!

If you hate this place youre obviously just an angry person. Tools are broad spectrum. There are some honestly good buys here that will last you. And others we know what were getting when we buy it.The return policy here is wonderful. Some people treat it like a tool rental program. Except they give the money back to you 100%. The house of temporary tools and lifelong customers who cant resist cheap Chinese pricing.

Store (Amherst, NH) is clean, very well organized, and well stocked. Staff are friendly, well informed, know the store like the back of their hand, and always willing to help.

They have decent tools for the handyman or homeowner who needs to make repairs to home or vehicles. I wish they carried open Stock wrenches and socket components as sometimes I dont want a whole set.

Harbor freight has some nice people to assist you. I enjoy the low priced tools with very few problems with there products in the past 25 years (mail orders).

Purchased an air compressor at Harbor Freight in Manchester NH. The compressor developed an air leak. They had no more in stock, but the store in Amherst NH had one of these compressors in stock.No problem, they exchanged it for me. They were very polite, and helped me load it into my trailer.

It is what it is supposed to be. Clean, cheap tools, no frills, and good checkout service.

Great if you want to run in and out for a budget tool but it took 3 trips before they actually told me you have to order a toolbox and cant use the 20% coupon. Went to Home Depot and got a slight bigger one for only$20 more with military discount.

Cashier needs to pay attention to the chek out line. Shouldnt hire stupid people.

1st time there. Went for a bigger light weight tarp for modest price. Got it! I wont buy everything there. Seems theres quite a bit I will. Ill be back.

Id much rather shop here than Lowes or Home Depot when it comes to equipment and power tools. Their prices are much lower and there are folks available who actually ask if you need help. You get to speak with people who know about the stuff theyre selling instead of someone who just happens to be stocking that aisle at the time. They even go out of their way to mention possible savings that you may have missed. Great place to shop.

Always love the sale items, Ive had no problem with tools from harbor freight. Occasionally the line can get backed up usually caused by the staff being helpful. Sone more front end help could combat this, and provide a better flow.

This place is great! The stuff from here just works. Im not a professional and often times I need a certain tool or part and I always start with here because you never know what they have! From AA batteries to 30 amp pigtails for my RV. Its cheap, it gets the job done, and the tools are fairly decent for the price!

Well stocked, quiet, the help was there when needed but not pushy. They allowed me the space to do my own browsing, I like that. It gives me time to view different tools Ill need for upcoming projects. When I start them Ill be back.

Reasonable quality tools if you are careful to examine before buying. Some are actually terrific deals, some are junk. It is the really cheap stuff that is junk. I have my eye on the 20 ton shop press that I have heard is really a good deal at the price.

It is always fun to walk the aisles and imagine what I could bring home if someone gave a thousand dollars to spend. I would likely come home with a lot of cool things, half of which I either wouldnt use or know how to use. Most of the hand tools and power tools are cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot and many are good quality, but do a little reading of user reviews if you are buying more expensive items.

You get what you pay for. Dont be surprised if the $2 tool you buy doesnt work after 1 use... Or ever... They have buckets that havent failed me yet. So thats good I guess.

As a very new DIYer, I find their cheaper tools sufficient for me. Perhaps a contractor needs the $100-$200 and up tools, but those are out of my price range. Harbor gives me a chance to learn the tools and then decide if Ill use it enough to warrant a higher end tool. They also frequently have better pricing on accessories for the bigger brands along with a standard 20% off coupon that is easy to find.

Great selection of cheap tools. Some of the employees were not very helpful, almost refused to sell me a small tool chest because I didnt have a truck. Told me it wouldnt fit in my wagon after I had already verified the size... It fit easily.

They dont accommodate for the people who have clostiphobia and cant wear a mask and will yell at you to get out of the store and wont let me get the tools what i need.

Inexpensive source for run of the mill tools. Pity everything seems to be made in China, but then again much of the higher price stuff at Lowes and Home Depot are also sourced from there. Would be willing to pay a premium for US manufactured precision tools, but I suppose thats just a fantasy these days...
