Very hard to decide on which delicious morsel to try from the bakery!! Finally went with the strawberry peach muffin and a carrot cake cookie for later. Also got an oat milk latte which was lovely and some garlic basil bread and artichoke dip for dinner. My friend got an assortment of cookies and the recommended wine (it was actually good, which coming from me who really doesn’t like wine is saying something!). Staff was friendly and upbeat and the entire store had a cozy feel. Would love to return!

The Store definitely lives up to its reputation. I had a blueberry and cream muffin and I have to say that when it comes to muffins they aren’t muffin around! This was the absolute best muffin I’ve ever had. The first bite was incredible, with just the right combination of sweet, tangy from the berries and crunchy from the crumble top. I can’t think of a better way to enjoy a quiet Sunday morning. Oh and the coffee is HOT too.

Friendly staff, cold drinks, fresh bread, cookies and muffins, lots of bottled wine, awesome deli sandwiches before 2pm (wish these were available longer til 5pm). Space is tight and gets crowded if theres more than 2 groups inside. But easier than the bigger grocery store if you dont need much.

Everything there is absolutely delicious! The smell of a fresh bakery that wraps around you as you open the door is simply mouth watering. The food is the freshest and satisfies completely!

Okay...think about the best muffin youve ever had. Now, multiply it by two and add a quaint Anacortes storefront. Yep, youve pretty much got the perfect muffin. The Store - located literally a block off the main drag into downtown - is worth a quick side trip. Their muffin selection is off the charts, featuring flavor combinations rarely seen in the muffin-challenged PNW. Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake? Yes please. Several varieties of chocolate and/or fruit? Um, yeah. Not to mention, these babies are HUGE. Ive never actually finished one in a single sitting. Usually I eat the tempting muffin top first, then save the rest for later.The Store also has an incredible selection of wine (perfect spot to stop for a couple of bottles before you hit the islands), and other convenience store items plus a cute cafe in the back. They have coffee and espresso, and plenty of indoor seating if you want to enjoy your muffin on-the-spot (and avoid getting crumbs all over your car, dont ask me how I know).Oh, and did I mention the folks who work there are super friendly too? Win win!

The baked goods in this joint SLAP so hard. I got the praline and cream muffin and it’s the best muffin I’ve ever had. Literally so moist and delicious. I also got a turkey bacon cheddar sandwich from the fridge and that was also super good. HIGHLY recommend the muffins tho.

Yea I get muffins here whenever I’m mountain biking or going to whistle lake for some cliff diving. The prices are good and the food is better. Always a must if you’re traveling through and looking for an interesting selection of both rare finds and essential choices.

This is the place to stop before getting on the ferry or anytime you can. The coffee, service and muffins we had where excellent. We tried the Banana pie muffin and the Carmel muffin. Both where fantastic, I’ve never tasted such a great Banana muffin before this one.

These muffins changed my life... I use to not be a muffin fan, but once my husband convinced me to stop by this place and give them a try I was so happily surprised!!!! These muffins are fluffy, thick, and delicous.... packed with so much love!!!! My favorite are the cobbler ones, huge flavors and they dont skimp on the fruit.... Also got a black coffee and carmel machiato both were good!

My great uncle originally built this store (Jorgensens) in the early 1900s. It is now an excellent deli, wine & bakery & coffee destination. Everything is fresh & great, here!

My Wife and I stopped here to grab muffins and coffee the morning of our big day. The friendly staff asked for all the details and my giddy, soon to be, obliged. When we went to ring up, the wonderful employee said, “Don’t worry about it, it’s on me today!” We attempted to pay and decline the amazing gesture, but she insisted. What we didn’t realize was that she covered our tab and swiped her own card to ring us up. Yes, this place has great muffins and what not, everyone knows that! This place also has some of the kindest, sweetest, most selfless employees.

A visiting French couple joined us and brought bread and muffins for dinner and breakfast. The bread was amazing and truly reminded me of the quality bread I’ve had in Paris. Staff were great and were just bringing a fresh batch out of the oven when I returned a week later to buy more.

I will drive an hour to go here because its a beautiful drive and the muffins are THAT GOOD. They are fluffy and moist and sweet, nothing is bad about them. They have a selection of wines and some normal convenience store snacks. This place is a must stop by if you are in the area, or going out to Anacortes for any other reason!

Fun little place to drop in while in town. Easy access and the gal running the counter was super friendly. Got a couple of muffins and the rhubarb was great. Its open later which is nice as most things close in Anacortes when the sun goes down. We stopped by after 5.

This place has ruined all other muffins for me. I moved from WA to TX in 2012, but I still have dreams about their delicious muffins, even wondered if they would consider overnight shipping them here. I visited back in October 16 for a friends wedding and this was one of the first places I went back to, and made sure to buy a muffin for every day I was there. One of my favorites used to be the Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake, but they either sell out early or no longer make those. Chocolate lovers should try the Triple Chocolate Silk!

Yeah, those muffins blew me away! Extremely obvious fresh fruit and the flavors just blended perfectly to just a scrumptious bite. I kind of felt like I was in a movie where the person overreacts when they take a bite of something for the first time. lol. It had so much flavor! I was blown away! 😋

The Store has the second best chocolate chip cookie in the world!***It also has the best priced wine on the entire island.***You have to order 144 chocolate chip cookies in order to make them without walnuts

I was accidently overcharged and didnt think about it until we were on our way home, 60 miles south of Anacortes. I contacted the store thru an email and within 30 minutes the owner called me. He had researched my transaction and wanted to refund my money! The basil garlic bread is outstanding and so were the muffins! Most of all, the customer care and service is impeccable!

Best muffins in the valley. Note for newcomers - these are not your typical muffin. They are proper, large sized muffins with full sized muffin tops, and all the flavor you could desire.The place is also a small general store, but most I know go for their muffins. A bit on the spendy side, but they are well worth it, and they always have a huge selection to choose from.My only complaint about the place is that if you get there when it is busy it can be relatively uncomfortable. Many people get grouchy when you are in there way, but when there is a lineup at the counter, it is hard to get out of anyones way. Often other customers will get surly or grouchy when we go in with the kids to let them pick out their muffins, as it sometimes takes time. The behavior of other customers is not the fault of the establishment of course, but it could be alleviated if they could reorganize the entry area in such a way to allow more room for those waiting.
