I really like this place, they are friendly, fast, honest, professional, attentive and sharp with the service they provide. I have been taken my car here for the last 2 years for smog check and tire rotation and they do a great jog. I definitely recommend this place. theres even a coffee machine so you can make your own coffee while waiting, I dont even get to finish my coffee since they are really fast and at the same time they do the job right. prices are really competitive (fare prices) for the services they offer. they even have zen music in the back ground which I my self also enjoy at home. so as for me, I do recommend. 👍

This business and the owner is the best place I have ever been for my car issues. The owner Mr. Truman truly cares about his customers, he is a very honest and kind man. I was jump-starting my car and my keys fell into my radiator and I was freaking out that I couldnt find my keys. I was driving around hoping to find a pep boys and I found J & V, not only did he took out my keys he also fixed my tire that had a screw stuck inside it. When I asked to pay he said he wont accept payment because today wasnt his work day and he was there to clean his shop.This man is a true gift in our community here in Anaheim, someone who truly cares and is spiritual on his daily life and interaction with people.I hope all of you bring your car to this guy who is honest, kind and very experienced. I am convinced he wouldnt never lie and he would support you in however way he can. Thank you so much for today and your kind heart.

I came here to ty and repair the engine on my jeep cherokee. Truman was straight with me about what the problem was and how much it would cost. Even though the cost was more than I had bargained for, Mr. Truman, the owner, was very helpful in assisting me getting the car towed to the junkyard and even helped me out financially. Good great honest place, fairly price and ran by the owner

I was sharing a drop off ride from enterprise car rental with another rider, a lady who was having her car serviced here at J& V Auto Repair on Lincoln Ave. in Anaheim. She told me that the people here were very nice and friendly and did really good work. I had just received quotes from Pep boys to do a Heater Core the week before, and I decided to give these guys a visit for the same quote. Their quote was, much, much better and I came back the next day with the part, along with a new drive shaft for them to install. They did a great job installing the heater core and the drive shaft. Quick service too.That was last week.Today, I stopped by to ask about a whirring noise that I thought was coming from the wheel bearing on my drivers front side. The Owner wanted to test drive it, and when he came back he said that he didnt hear anything. I offered to drive it with him as a ride along and the sound was there, but not as pronounced as when I drove it on the freeway alone.When we got back, he offered to check it out and within 20 minutes of looking for the source he found it. It wasnt the wheel bearing it was the differential. He lifted the rear end of the vehicle and spun the rear wheel and the sound was clearly audible. I offered to pay him for the diagnosis and he refused payment and said, just bring me work when you need something. Great guy, I found out talking to his wife that he is actually an accredited engineer. I could tell from my experience with him that he was really knowledgeable.Sorry, but I cant mention the free lunch that they bought me when the owner Truman was was checking out my vehicle, because Its not something that they offer on a regular basis. So, forget that I even mentioned that. I just happened to stop by while he and his wife Anna were having lunch, and they had an extra box lunch from Portos and graciously offered it to me. However, they do have free sodas and water for their customer in the waiting area.Great people, great place. Great prices, great service. What can I say this place is amazing I had a check engine light my boyfriend recommend we go to his favorite mechanic so we did I was expecting the worse no way!!! The people there are so nice and so focused on getting the job done for you I was so happy with my service I would recommend highly to anyone needing honest work done

I went in today and asked him to check my car and got the best service. The family that runs this business is the best. They are so thorough and do an excellent job. I even tried tipping him and he wouldnt except it. Im Definately pleased with them and would recommend them to everyone!

Came to this place for smog check in February paid him the 30 for the smog and the ten for the certificate even though it failed smog. Figured I would just have it prepaid and I would do it with the free retest. I did the repairs and I came back a week or so later for the retest and the tech said I hadnt completed the ODB cycle and would need to come back. So I came back 2 months or so later because this was when I could get off of work, only to be told the retest will no longer be free. Fine. Its outside the ten days window he marked and I did the repairs myself so he was probably steamed about that. But then I get charged again for the certificate, silly me thinking a business in 2018 would have actual records of what they took in. So forget this place. Ive told any and all people I know to go elsewhere. All over 10 bucks

Went in for check engine light repair. Got the car back and still had the light problem plus they made the car worse. Now the engine lost its power and is miss firing. And now they say its something else.
