I bought a used 2017 Striper 22 foot cc and I’m very happy with the product and the service that I was given. The Sea Trail was very informative and professionally done. I am very happy with the service I was given by Captain Joe and Captain Tim and I would strongly recommend buying a used boat from them.

I just got a nice Fishing Boat from captain Tim from the Boathouse of Anaheim. Fast easy transaction and the boat is everything as it was described. Took the Striper with Yamaha outboard out on Sunday, a day after trailering it home to San Diego, and got into calico bass off the kelp beds. All functioned great and the kids had a great time. I changed out the anchor to a Delta plow after the trip, but other than that, I can’t think of anything else I’d change. Captain Tim, and owner Captain Joe, are very knowledgeable and are a notch or more above the competition. Thanks again!

Called Saturday evening about the availability of a 2015 Yamaha AR190. Guy named Joe stated theyre not taking deposits and its a first come first serve basis. Joe furthermore stated theyre closing in five mins and if we wanted to come see the boat they open Tuesday morning at 9am.On Tuesday my husband and I drove over an hour to see this boat. We waited in the parking lot 30 mins for the shop to open. We were greeted by a woman who stated she does the paperwork there and they do not open until 9am & Joe would arrive shortly. She said someone started paperwork on the boat, however she didnt recieve any money from them yet. She went to check her office and confirmed there was no money recieved and that its first come first serve & we still had a chance at getting the boat. At 9:03am Joe arrives and we introduce ourselves. He outright tells us he took a deposit before we called on SATURDAY and the boat has been sold and will be delivered to the buyer this Friday. I dont know why he lied and stated its first come first serve when he took a deposit before we even called and made us waste our time for absolutely nothing. We were looking to finance and take the boat off the lot, same day. Will never return. I do not recommend anyone wasting their time with this place.

We were hesitant about selling our boat with the Boat House of Anaheim only because we had found better price points with other dealers. Tim Jones not only matched these other dealers prices but Tim sold my boat in only a week. Let me repeat myself - Tim beat other dealers prices and he sold my boat in less time than I know the other dealers wouldve able to do so. He sold my boat at the higher price range for which I would NOT be able to do on my own and he did it in far less time than expected. Im VERY happy with my selling experience. I was also VERY happy with my buying experience.Basically - I purchased the Boat a year ago, used it every weekend with my wife and friends. Now Ive sold the Boat a year later for more than I originally purchased it for. I am head over heels in love with the Boat House of Anaheim.

I was trying to sell my five year old Bayliner through a broker, and was getting nowhere. I was referred to The Boat House of Anaheim by a guy that made trailers, and liked them immediately. Captain Joe and Tim (owner) are straight up guys that tell you how it is. They keep their promises, and operate their business in an honest, straightforward manner. They sold my boat in a relatively short period of time, and the business side of it was handled very easily. I cannot recommend them highly enough for anything to do with selling or buying a boat.

Very knowledgeable

Had my boat serviced there a few years back and they did a wonderful job. It was a pretty major service and they where less expensive than the other shop that gave me an estimate I took it in for a gimbal bearing and find out that I needed a new transom salt water got in from the bellows and just ate away the transom where the bellows clamped to. If was a bad deal but they did the job and did it for the price that they quoted me even though it was a lot more than they thought first they could not remove the drive the drive shaft was frozen in the bearing so they had to cut the drive shaft to remove the drive unit. Once that was removed the that still would not come out. So they had to drill out the transom to get the bearing out with the rest of the drive shaft then they could remove the engine. Now they could remove the old transom and install the new transom and start getting.the boat back together. When I put it in the water the first time after the service it had never been this quiet and I bought this boat new. Its going on three years and it is going in for a service and I would not think of going any where else they are honest and do great work.

We just were there this morning for the service of our boats engine which has trouble to start. The gas supply is not pumping to the engine, and Tim has spent hours his time to troubleshoot to find the cause.Finally, the problem was found, there was a clog in the gas tube, it fixed and free of charge for the labor. If I could give one star, i would. I bought a boat here in November of 2017. My boat is still in the shop. Engine had complete salt water intrusion. The warantee that they sold me wont cover any part of the repair. Its almost a year now and I took my boat out twice before if failed. Im now looking at 9k in repairs! This isnt over! I have never been so mad!

I have conducted three business transactions with the boat house of Anaheim in the last three years. I had them sell two boats for me and purchased one from them. Both Tim and joe have been a pleasure to work with. All three of my transactions were handled extremely professionally and more importantly honestly. Tim is a no nonsense guy. He tells you what he can do for you and what he can’t. Tim is a true professional and when he tells you he is going to do something, he does it. This is an honest family owned business. Purchased a 2005 Monterey Boat 18 foot.When visiting the boat yard that they have in the rear we were not pressured in any way. It was a very nice experience. Everyone was polite and friendly. We made an offer and it took some time to get approval which tells us they were trying hard and our offer was approved without further haggling. When we picked up the boat they did all of the DMV paperwork for us and took us on a boat orientation ride at one of the local bays. Even though we owned a boat in the past we learned a lot on our test drive. The pitot (Small plastic) was broken and they offered for us to come in so they can replace it or send it by mail. We chose by mail. Captain Joe, Captain Tim and Linda were exceptional!

I was there today looking at one of their used boats today and there where countless things wrong with it.I could go on for ever to name them but the best is when I asked Joe to start the boat for me ( so I can here it run of course) I guess it was Tim said he didnt want to flood the back lot !! Then Tim asked if it was cash and if I wanted to make an offer !! What a bunch of rip offs !! Why would I make any kind of offer on any boat and not hear it start ? Dont trust these guys !!

I came to look at two boats I had an interest in, a 25 Wellcraft and a 26 Striper. I Had a wonderful conversation with Tim today about the pros and cons of each and inquired about pricing and sales process. Unfortunately the boat I was leaning towards ended up being spoken for. Tim was very reasonable and extremely knowledgable. I will be coming back in the near future because of Tim.
