They always follow me every where I go I can never shop in peace and I always hear them talking about me on there walkies I don’t like that. It’s literally racial profiling me and my non poc friend went in separately just to test to see if they would do it to her and she got to shop freely. I am a regular paying customer there and that experience made me not want to buy anything at all. I never get this treatment at the ULTA in tikhatnu. I will never spend a dime there again smh.
I needed a new moisturizer and the staff really helped me find what I was looking for. At least three people helped me find something!
My daughter was scheduled for a hair appointment. They called me to cancel my daughters appointment and rescheduled for the next day. The Asian older woman guaranteed the appointment. We showed up and my daughter was never booked at all. Eric came to apologize but he did not seem to believe what I explained about the conversation I had with the stylist.Why are you hiring workers that cannot comply with simple task in scheduling? This happened twice already with the salon. It would have been our first visit but it’s our last. Thank you to Regis Salon in the same mall. She was serviced without an appointment.
The cashier was rude. Hire better employees that arent sassy and snarky.
The greeters and cashiers here seem totally miserable. The front facing staff has an impressively bad vibe that makes shopping here unpleasant.
I love Ulta stores. I cant walk by one of these stores and not go inside. And once inside i cant not buy something. I am a beauty lover and PT Youtuber so im always in here looking for and trying out the latest. These girls are very friendly i havent had a bad experience in this store. Online orders is another things dont get me started but thats a different story. They are great with returns and they alwayd have sales. I looove their reward system i wish more companys followed them. I have not tried the salon but thats only cause i dont have a good experience with any salon so i dont know if i wanna risk it and have my fav store tainted lol.

It was an aweful experience for my daughter and wife. We had to deal with a unkept sales person named Sarah. She appeared to be in her twenties. She had dirty multi colored hair and did not appear to wear any beauty products. She made rude comments to my daughter and wife and was very unprofessional. My wife and daughter will never go to Ultra again.

Eric is the only person I let touch my eyebrows. He has exceptional customer service and always makes me excited to see him again and again.
Never using their beauty services again. Had my eyebrows waxed and got an under eye mask. Eric was friendly but gave me the worst eyebrow job ever. I couldnt really tell while there because my face was so swollen and I figured I was so red because I just had hair ripped out of my face. The next day after the swelling died down I could see where all the skin had been ripped off. I now have scabs all around my eyebrows and one of my eyebrows is really chopped looking. And the eye mask was a waste of $5. Im only giving two stars because Danika was very helpful. Will NEVER use their services again.
Giving 1 star only because I cant leave zero. I went in 9 days ago to get my roots bleached out and the paper white color restored to my hair. I specifically asked the stylist before she even got started if she would be able to get my hair the color I wanted and she ASSURED me that it wouldnt be a problem. After bleaching my hair TWICE, I left the salon with my hair a dingy grey color that she ASSURED me would fade out to the paper white color I had requested. I paid a total of $205 to get a color that was NOTHING like what I had asked for and has not only not faded to the color it was supposed to be, but has already turned brassy on top of it. I called Guest Services the next day to let them know that I was unhappy with my service. Instead of having a manager contact me, they have the stylist I just complained about call me!! Then, after putting me on the spot for complaining about my service in the first place, she proceeds to inform me that the corporation doesnt carry the level of developer necessary to achieve the color that I asked for. Then, she gets me to make another appointment (which I had absolutely no intention of showing up for) so she can try to fix it. First of all, if she knew from the get go that she didnt have the necessary product to do my hair correctly, she should have said something before she ever even sat me down in that chair. Second, anyone who bleaches their hair KNOWS that you shouldnt bleach it again for AT MINIMUM 6 to 8 weeks after its been processed (and its even longer when its been processed twice). Third, considering I had just complained about the service I received from her, I wasnt going to let her anywhere NEAR my head again. I still have yet to actually receive a call from a manager (after 3 calls to Guest Services) and Im getting more upset as this progresses. I dont like leaving negative reviews, but I dont see any alternative in this situation. I really hope they get it together and do something about this soon, because Ive been a loyal customer since they opened up here and I really dont want to have to escalate this even further......

They were super nice and very friendly but they sure botched my hair!!!! Went in for highlights look like I got a leopard print. None of the highlights made it to the roots and all are at varying levels from the roots. I look spotted not striped. Very disappointed with my summer do. Hair done yesterday picture taken today. Im not sure why but my picture keeps disappearing from this review. Maybe SOMEONE is reporting it? If I owned this place I wouldnt want that picture up either.

I went here earlier today for a few items. I was not greeted by anyone upon entering and there were store employees everywhere. I had a hard time finding what I was looking for. I overhead two employees gossiping about personal stuff. I saw other employees look at me and walk off. I was ready to leave when a nice girl with glasses approached me and asked me if I needed help. She found what I needed and I proceeded to the check out line. The cashier was a male with really long hair and full face of makeup .He was rude with no personality. Management should stress the importance of good customer service to their employees here. GREET EVERYONE that walks in. Ask customers if they are finding everything ok. If a customer makes eye contact, smile at least. Jesus. Is it so hard to be nice? If it wasnt for the one girl I would give zero stars. Please do better.

Super helpful cashier, but there was a long line while two other associates just talked elsewhere in the store. About noon on Saturday. Wish the other two people would have helped with the long line instead of yakking.
I like shopping there. They have Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty products that I went there for. n i also got other products other than Kylie n Kims products. I will be going back for sure. I love ordering online with Rakuten as well. I love the deals that they offer on there. I would recommend to anyone n everyone.

It was hard to find someone to help us, but when we did they were very nice and knowledgeable.
The cashier offered points to earn for buying Ulta products and I asked her if it is a credit card I do not want to apply for it and she said it was not a credit card and I told her I do not want any credit cards at this moment and she assured me it was not a credit card so I applied for I thought were Ulta points. When I checked out my items which were $40 plus in products - I told the cashier I want to use my debit card and she said okay its the one we have online and I said yes my debit card I do not want a credit card. So time went by and I was receiving letters which I thought were points notices - I opened the bill and found I had a bill to pay and late charge fees. I went to the Ulta store on Dimond Blvd. and said this is a mistake - I did not want to charge to a credit card and I would pay for the items I bought and they gave me a customer service number to call and said they do not handle credit card errors at the Dimond Ulta store. I called the Ulta comenity bank and have been trying to work with them as my late charge fees and past dues add up to $398.18 but have not heard back from them since April 30, 2019 so I paid $84.00 last week just to try to get my credit score better.I used to buy and loved Ulta Beauty products from Ulta Beauty but have not been there since this happened...I should be compensated for all the time I put trying to fight this - people and companies get away with things like this and its not right!

Nobody ever around to stop and ask if you need help. Most employees are busy stocking and giving you the look of dont bother them.its better to just shop on line because you get better info on the product than someone who works there.

A few weeks ago I went and buy stuff as usual because I liked this store, when I was about to pay I ask the lady who was the cashier, her name apparently is “ Sarah” as it appears in my ticket with a very bad attitude, I asked her if she can redeem my points and I just realized that she never did anything . I had good amount of points and she said ok, but very bad attitude, rude and mean .... I said thank you ( thinking that she did what I ask for ) and she didn’t even say anything and turned her face to the other side. If she doesn’t like to deal with costumer service, do yourself a favor and find another job .
I thought it was going to be more like Sephora but it wasnt in a good way. Its way bigger and they have more items than Sephora and more brands/price points. This is my new place for all things beauty and make up.

I scheduled my appointment for styling my hair one day before it and Flor Sandoval, one of the hairdressers, gave me a price for my style. So I go there next day and she gives me another price because the last price it was only for the service and she didnt mention it. I accept that and then she starts working on my hair. When Im about to pay she gives me another price once again because it took her more than 45 minutes for just simple curls and theyre supposed to charge more for that. At the end, my price raised from $21 to almost $100 just for curls that were all messed up after 1 hour. If youre dealing with clients you gotta let them know everything and be clear about the service that youre providing them instead of skipping or hiding details just to get your appointment
I achieved PLATINUM status with my Ultamate account EASY within 4 trips. The staff was very helpful. And I attended the Lancome event and learned about skin care I ended up buying Lancome products, MANY Lancome products that are exactly what I needed and what I was looking for. Thank you Ulta staff for helping me each time I came in (Im not from Anchorage but the staff was very helpful!!)😍

I love Ulta and the products they carry, but the people who work at this location are very rude! I was looking at/testing some nail polishes one day and a guy came up to me and rudely told me that they werent testers and I couldnt test the nail polishes. I dont know if Im the only one, but Ive always tested nail polishes before I buy. He just went about it very rudely and could have been nicer. They missed out on a big sale because I had a lot of stuff to purchase and the one rude comment made me put everything back and leave. Took my business to the other Ulta location and had no problems. Would definitely recommend the Muldoon store over this one any day.

Vary disappointed with my experience at this particular location .Me and my husband went in tonight to look at hairdryers. We went straight to the back where they were located and tested out the two that I had been looking into getting. When your about to spend 200$ its nice to compare to see which one is right for you. Soon we had a snarky employee who came and asked how we were doing when we replied fine HE said, looks like your just playing games. EXCUSE ME if I was playing around the first place I would go to wouldnt be the expensive hairdryers second talking to anybody like that is UNCALLED for. While HE made HIS rude remark he was walking away from us. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL . Unfortunately the dimond location hires employees with disrespectful attitudes and maintain their reputation for providing a less than comfortable experience for their customers. I will NEVER go to this location again. Dimond employees need to think about how they talk to their customers .
I have not been to Alta here in Anchorage, but I have been to the Las Vegas store and the Wichita, Kansas stores. Maybe its just a thing that the employees are kinda rude. My experience in Wichita was much better in than in LV. Yeah. Getting help there seems as if you are bothering the employees rather than feeling welcomed by them.
The woes of shopping as a man, are personified here. Ive only shopped here 6 times without my wife, and its one of the few ahops in town that seem to assume one of two things; I know everything about the products here cause im a man and come here all the time, or Im not here to buy anything and just wandering around like a lost puppy for no reason. I have NEVER been approaches by an employee, I have only been GREETED by security when they use to have it at Tikahtnu location. Looking up to have 3 enployees already looking at me and not offering me help, it really makes me feel like I dont belong there and my wife is better off receiving beauty products from anywhere else.
I havent worn make in so long and needed help, my 13 year old daughter also needed help. We were both given tips and makeup to use.
Employees are pretty friendly and helpful. The store has a large variety of products as well!

Overpriced makeup feels the same as Walgreens makeup. Ulta is unprofessional, they gossip about other staff and are just annoying. They are also selling used makeup which is very unsanitary
