They went out of their way to find us a trailer without a reservation. Truly good people who will work to get you what you need.

The customer service is horrendous. Every year I rent a truck to transport my plants. Every instant they billed my credit card twice for the same transaction. It took on the average 2 trips to the location to resolve each incident. I would encourage everyone to check your credit card bill as the first time they billed me over $900 for the use of a truck for about 3 hrs.

Had made the reservation for the wrong time. They helped me get set up with a truck rental for the correct time even though it was super busy

They told me they could put a hitch on my car. Charged me almost $400. Showed up on time, they told me that it would take 6 weeks to install. It took ten days to pay me back. Alaska U-Haul will never get any of my business. Or my friends and family.

Unlike other usual places in Anchorage that have charged me for gas when I returned the truck at the same gas mark, this place is honest. Customer service was friendly and they had what we reserved.

So far so good! The location we went to was very well stocked with everything you need to pack your home, tow anything lock whatever, tie something down, tape stuff up, pad stuffand just everything 😀 the person who helped us get our truck (20 truck) was awesome! Very friendly fast and helpful! I was very about this move but he was very helpful and like I said so far so good. Going from Anchorage 🚛 to whittier riding the ferry ⛴ to kodiak 🐻 so Ill update after we return the truck to the kodiak location. 👍

Staff has been helpful, knowledgeable and professional each of my 5+ rentals. I gave it 3 stars because they are woefully understaffed. Resulting in long waits for pickup and drop off.

Needs parking directions in the back sometimes you can’t get through. No ramp or elevator for handicapped people and difficult to move heavy objects up and down stairs.

We showed up a little early on Sunday to return a car dolly having successfully made it up the ALCAN. Raymond warmly greeted us, asked several questions about our journey. He then did a safety inspection so any upcoming users would have good quality equipment.We were checked out BEFORE the stated opening.I will keep using this U Haul dealer. Thanks Raymond for the outstanding service.

Horrible hitch install service. Appt was changed without telling me after I paid up front then I was told to reschedule another 2 weeks out. And the manager is out for a week during the busiest time of year!

Scheduled an hitch install, showed up. Was told we had wrong day. Through multiple days of figuring things out, a store Associate had Changed appt to day earlier but never called or emailed. When we showed up, he said “ oh looks like you missed your appt and the parts for installation were stolen right out from under you, your going to have to reschedule for another 2 weeks out” we had already paid in full! No options were offered and non existent customer service.

Quick and friendly service. Happy to use this location anytime I need move something.

The lines move a little slow but there selection is worth the wait just dont be in a rush or you might be in a pinch for time.

Not helpful and constant run a round

Apparently having a reservation for equipment doesnt mean anything here. I called ahead the week before, followed their instructions, reserved online with a credit card, got a confirmation number. The day before my move I stopped in to check on the trailer, and they said they had no trailer for me, and it became clear the reservation didnt actually matter at all.
