This is a great store with awesome staff. The place seems to be owned by people that are well-versed in sports collectibles and memorabilia, and they’ve hired employees that are very knowledgeable on Pokémon, Yugioh, etc., so most of the bases for a store like this are well-covered. It’s very much a collectors store that focuses on trading cards and sports memorabilia, with some vintage toys and games here and there. They also keep a heavy stock of back-issue comics, but probably won’t be your best bet if you’re looking for new publications.I’ve seen some people in other reviews complaining about what were, in their opinions, unfair prices/sales, but I want to stress that it’s so important to know the value of your product before you try to sell it. I’ve sold to and bought from Collector’s World on numerous occasions, and I’ve had great and honest experiences every time.

This is my go to go store where I prefer to go to buy cards and sell my cards for a good price. The guy at the register is amazing in his customer service and is kind and helpful and never disrespect customers and this is an amazing store

Awesome selection. Wide variety of collectibles for all ages and interests. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Owned and operated by real collectors that are down to earth and fun to talk with. If you’re buying or selling, I’d recommend going and talking to Damon.

This place is a rip off. For buying and selling. They have prices so jacked up on cards it’s not even funny. Also do not try and sell anything here. I got offered $100 for over 300 Pokémon cards and Halloween Night Dance entire comic series. I had cards in there worth over 20 bucks a piece and the comics can be sold for 20 or more each. They acted like they were doing me a favor or taking them off my hands. This store is in a small town so I guess they think they can rip people off. Buy your cards in Chantilly.

Just recently started coming to the store. At first impression the store seems messy, but the messy works. They know exactly where things are and you seem to find little hidden gems within the clutter. The folks are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely coming back and finding that hidden gem!

Nice owner but just be aware that you most likely wont get what you want to sale your items for. More like less than half the price unless its a real rare item(s). If you want some quick sale then go here.

Great place. Tons of sports cards and memorabilia. Picked up a few packs and a hobby box. Spent time just looking around. Both workers working (guy and a girl) were friendly and talked about the items. Enjoyable time. Will be back!

It’s a nice hobby shop really. If you’re looking to buy don’t hesitate you’ll receive good customer service. If you’re looking to sell, I think you’d be better off at another shop nearby, especially if it’s sports card/collectible related.Before I came here I went to another nearby store, who sat down and we went through the 100 or so cards I brought, getting values and discussing what cards they would or wouldn’t buy, after about 30 minutes with them they offered $600 for about half of my cards. A fair offer but not quite what I was looking for.At Collectors world, when I was able to meet with the owner, he flipped through the same 100 cards in about 75-90 seconds and gave me a number $500 for all of them.I was bewildered by how quickly and nonchalantly what I had was paid attention to, how could one shop need 30 minutes to find values of 100 cards all from the last 5 or so decades, but this gentleman was ready to offer me less money for twice my product, after only 90 seconds.Needless to say I left the store. If I want to shop I may head back, but I won’t be trying to sell here.

I have been coming to Collectors world since Ron owned the store. I believe that the store is better then it ever has been with the new owners and management team and staff. They work with customers not for the short term but the long run. They treat me with honesty and professionalism this is a great place and if you dont try them you will be missing out on a great experience. I give them a 5 thumbs-up. I will be coming here when I am looking for collectable for many years to come. Keep up the good work, also they support the military I like that for sure.

I love this place i have gotten so many good things here on cards and other iteams hear and have sold a few things to them as well the staff are very knowable and friendly and it very clean. They do use C-19 precautions which very good if you looking for or you looking to sell sports cards and or other iteams look here the staff will treat you well i do highly recommend them to all.

This store is extremely crammed and has WAY to much stuff for a smaller space. Nothing is organized in this store except for the comic books. There is STUFF EVERYWHERE. While I was there the employees were knocking things off the walls because of all the clutter. On top of all of this, the prices on the sports cards are outrageous!!!

I thought I was the exception, but since another user also posted about price gouging, its ironic that when I asked the manager about the price of a product he RAISED IT per unit after I asked about a OPENED bag of the same top-loaders. (Does BCW really want to distribute to such disrepute?) Then he tried to misrepresent the products and said that SILVER age boards would fit into MODERN age bags. Uh, what? I proceeded with a limited purchase, but then he said he wanted to know my name, I asked why, and he said so I can ban you. Really? For asking about prices? After I said I didnt need to tell him my name, he concluded his sale (and likely illegal price gouging crime) and said, officially banned. Well Mr. Manager, I am sure that the owners of this shop will love to hear from me for the next few years until their lawyers get tired of it. And if you are one, know your customers before you give them attitude of your own. And some other stuff I noticed that will be reported in due time, but STEER CLEAR if you want any legitimate comic store here.

Big time price gouging here. I allowed my kids to go through and pick out some cards. My oldest found a Matt Ryan rookie jersey swatch with no serial number. Was charged 20 bucks for a card I can find for 9. On top of that, there are slight rips by the swatch itself, when I brought it up I got zero response. My youngest asked about three no name players loose in a box no protector and they wanted 4 dollars a card I mean get real guys.

I stop by this store every time I find myself in Northern Virginia. The guy that works in sports cards and memorabilia section of the store is a really great guy and knows a lot about the hobby and sports in general.If you are ever in the area you should definitely check it out.

This place, to me, is EPIC! Love it! The best. They hold comics for you, tell you if there are new releases, they have old and new comics. The cards, very vintage! A TON of collectibles! Rare! If I could say all this in one word, it would be WOW!

Really nice guys. Just went there to check out Free Comic Book Day. Arrived 1-1/2 hrs before closing. Supposedly was busy earlier in the day so we went at a good time.

Owners and staff are great! Fun place. They host special signing events with big name pro athletes. I found this place a few months ago and now Im a regular customer. I enjoy seeing their collection.

Comics and sports cards for which they are named are reasonably priced, as well as the action figures. The trading card games however, have their prices bumped anywhere from a 10%, to more often a 50-100% increase in price. Do NOT buy these cards from them unless prices are lowered.

If you like comics, both old gems and new releases, if you are into card collections, such as sports cards, Magic, Pokeman, YuGiOh, or associated figurines, toys, sports memorabilia and such, this is definitely the place you want to spent a few hours. There is so much stuff in this small shop, you wont want to make just a quick visit, rather, spend some time and browse.

This place is great. I am passing the torch on to my son of baseball card collecting. The gentleman who helped me was wonderful. He even gave my son a pack of cards on the house. I cannot wait to return.

I went in looking for graphic novels and what little they did have are in these piles crammed mostly out of the site. The employee there was very nice but he admitted he didn’t know anything about comics.
