Friday I had a COVID 19 Rapid test. The result was to be available by 8 pm.After multiple calls to the Minute Clinic patient support line and the store, on Saturday and Sunday, I still do not have the result on Monday -- 3 days later. While the Minute Clinic support staff could see the test result and that it was available Friday, only the nurse practitioner could release it. She still has not released it. Weird that no one else can release it.CVS Minute clinic support claims to have NO way to get this resolved - no supervisors, no escalation. CVS makes a tremendous amount of money for these tests, but does not take responsibility for getting the result to the patient.I will NEVER set foot in a CVS Minute Clinic for any reason. I can not trust my health or medical care to them.
Very busy and they always have the medication that others do not. The folks here work their butts off and have to deal with being over worked and cranky customer- so be patient! grateful they are in the neighborhood!
Canceled my covid test for no reason. Now I’m out of a job because I’m forced to get one every week and could not provide. Single father with 2 kids!
Horrible pharmacy service. They keep messing up my parents insurance information when they process a refill. My parents have had the same insurance for 30 years and we never had a problem. And for the past 6 months I dont know who they hired at CVS pharmacy that almost every couple of months or even less we have problems with the insurance coverage (usually if the refill is processed Friday-Sunday). To the point that Ive had to call the insurance in front of them to prove that the insurance is active. That after the pharmacist had the guts to tell me your insurance stopped coverage. Obviously the pharmacist has no clue how to enter or verify existing insurance information on existing customers or customers who have use this CVS for almost 30 years using the same insurance. I dont even understand why the pharmacist has to change the insurance information already in the system when a refill is due. It has happened 3 times already. I would say though that the pharmacy front desk people are excellent. They are the ones who have to figure out how to fix the insurance issues the people doing the refills are causing. Ana is fantastic for instance.
The store needs renovation. The pharmacy itself is awesome! The manager and staff in pharmacy are very friendly and efficient! Super service!
I waited under the CONSULTATION sign and no staff approached. Then someone newer than me comes up to the PICKUP sign and got waited on right away. So I got in that line behind her. Then a new guy walks up to the DROPOFF sign and he gets waited on right away. I’m still waiting behind the PICKUP sign and then the 2nd guy who just got in line behind the DROPOFF sign starts getting waited on. Staff needs to wait on people in the right order. Very frustrating
I got my covid test done here and it was an extremely positive experience. While there was a delay in getting to finally take my test, the organization was good. If the test is negative, patients have the option to be seen by the nurse. The person that was in the trailer that guided me through my covid test was so nice and kind. She and the nurse made the experience very pleasant. Kudos to them!!
Beautiful, clean and excellent customer service. No long waiting with the kios.
I am a couponer and this is my main CVS I go to. The staff (for the most part) are excellent! Many of them are very friendly with their greetings and ask if I need help looking for anything. Sometimes my coupons don’t go through on a specific items and the cashier are patient with me as I switch items or have to void at the self-checkout to go to the register.Wanted to give a shout out to these employees: they are my FAVORITE and we always have a nice short conversation.Felix — so sweet and helpful!Shankar — on night shift and is very friendly and patient!Abdul — so great! Very patient and helpful on making sure my transactions are smooth! Also wanted to mention a couple other people but not sure of their namesLan? Believe she is a Vietnamese woman. And there is a gentleman who is bald (sorry!) but unsure of the name! Not sure who the manager is (only because I am terrible with names and knowing what uniform the manager wears) but they picked a good selection of people.Wanted to mention that there is a pharmacist that walks around offering flu shots — something I LOVE and supportive of!!! I already got one through my job but I appreciate spreading health!
This pharmacy never has medications in stock, never has prescriptions ready when they tell you theyll be ready (I dropped a prescription off at 321pm and was told it would be ready in an hour, as of 521pm its still not ready and they dont know why), they cant even update a phone number. And now with the merger with Aetna I have no choice but to go to CVS unless I want to pay out of pocket for everything.
Worst CVS ever... Dont go here... Stay away
Staff at the pharmacy was extremely helpful with questions I had about a medication.
I went to this location for Covid testing and of the CVS testing experiences I’ve had (3 prior to this), this one has been the most disorganized. The line was really long so I wasn’t seen until 25 min after my appointment time even though I showed up early. Each car ahead of me took at least 10 minutes to get through. When I went up the window I realized it was because they were totally disorganized and unprepared for appointments. They asked for my confirmation number and then asked me if the DOB they had was correct (it was not.) So then they left for 5 minutes to figure out who I was, despite having my confirmation number and ID. When the test kit was finally ready, the woman at the window saw I’d done testing at a CVS before so she handed me my kit and walked away. I’m no expert and I prefer the other experiences I’ve had where they count down for you and ensure you’re doing it correctly.
The three ladies working the pharmacy tonight were rockstars. They were working their tails off filling prescriptions, taking phone calls and fielding in store customers. They were so efficient and all of them were exceptionally professional and friendly. What a great team even though they were clearly over worked.
Bad bad service! The female is so horrible!!!! I mean the lady work in pharmacy, not the whole cvs
Very bad service pharmacy service. I don’t think what they are doing. I have a prescription for medicine they even can’t read. They want my doc’s license number. For what??? I have been filling for whole my life. I’ve never had experience like this. They need to hire people who knows their job.
People theyre hospitality.
Always a long wait! The employees seem overworked and don’t have patience. CVS do better for your customers and your employees!
I should of read the reviews before coming here. I needed a simple prescription for eye drops and they managed to drop the ball on it. Zero communication between the staff and customer. First they couldn’t find my prescription, then they tell me that my Dr. needs to write a new prescription because my insurance won’t take that brand. I went to the minute clinic inside this CVS, and they still managed to not get the proper prescription HOURS later. I come back and what do you know? No one contacted the Dr. NEXT DOOR and got the right scrip. So it was clear they completely forgot about my situation. They finally decided to do their job, after a 20 min wait in the parking lot, I got it. This place is a joke. I will definitely avoid it at all costs.
Bassam assisted us.. And man.. what an experience! He was fantastic and knowledgeable. Will be coming back to this specific CVS just got him. If youre reading this Bassam. Thank you thank you! Made my shopping experience very pleasant especially during this COVID19 pandemic. Stay safe sir!
This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I had a prescription filled two months ago and they had trouble accepting my insurance card. I was told that it went through, I paid and moved on. Fast forward to last Friday, and I needed ear drops as I got an ear infection. First they couldn’t find my prescription, then they yet again could not look my insurance information up. I was told that they did not have the medicine at that location and had placed an order and would be there by Monday. (Keep in mind, I had to keep calling to get any of this information.) Now it is Monday and when I called I was told that they tried to find the generic brand as the medicine I was waiting for was $250. This is great, I would like to pay less, however, the reason they even looked for the generic version was because and I quote “you don’t have insurance”. I replied that this was not the case and provided my insurance information yet again and asked why they did not already have it on file. The representative could not explain why. I then explained that I needed my medicine today as I have been waiting on it all weekend and it was painful. He stated there was another CVS down the street. I was able to go there, show my insurance card and was out in 5 minutes. So let’s recap. The first experience I had here, I ended up unknowingly paying out of pocket for my medicine. The second experience, I ended up waiting all weekend for medicine that was never even being filled because they stayed I was uninsured.....I showed them my card and they still gave me the run around. Do yourself a favor, and drive the extra mile to another pharmacy with people that treat you better and have the competency to do their job correctly.
Not sure why the reviews of this CVS are so low. Ive always had a decent experience there, and the guy who took my passport photos did a great job.
The pharmacy staff are helpful and very busy. Ive seen two different nurse practitioners at the minute clinic and both have been friendly and able to help me with what I needed much faster than going to my regular doctor. All parts of the store have a clean, well ordered appearance.
Poor customer service!
Horrible!!! They ALWAYS screw up prescriptions. Even if you call in advance to make sure all is filled. They STILL find a way to screw things up. Worst. Pharmacy. Ever!!! Do not use them if you actually need medicine on time and in the correct quantities. You will end up going back, and back and back.
Clean, well organized and well stocked CVS
Great customer service!!!! Especially the beauty department..... extra nice n very customer oriented woman.....wow impressive!!!!
This is the worst pharmacy Ive ever visited. I kept going back as its most convenient to my home, but on three separate occasions the pharmacy couldnt/didnt fill my infants prescription for one reason or another (including one time which they just plain forgot), and never called me to report the issue. Finally had to switch to another cvs.
It pains me to even give this pharmacy 1 star, I wish I could leave negative stars. Don’t believe them when they say a script will be ready. Called at 230pm on a Tuesday (30 mins after my doctor sent an eRX for my script) to see when it would be ready for pickup. They said 1 hour. I showed up at 4pm (1.5 hrs later) and they said it wasn’t ready and they needed another hour. I understand being understaffed and very busy but don’t lie to customers. I wasted my time driving in terrible weather and traffic to pick up a medication I desperately need and it’s not even ready. Unreal. Switching pharmacies after this.
Place is ok, typical pharmacy/convenience store. One day I was trying to have my passport photos taken. Went to two other CVS before this one but there machines were down. I called in before coming to make sure they could take my pics and said they could. Once I got there it turns out their machines were down too. What a way to keep your customers well informed.
Check your prescriptions before you leave. Once I was give twice the needed dose of a vaccine and and again was given 1/3 the number of pills in a refill. Theyre always very busy and I think quality control suffers.
Fantastic selection and friendly staff!
Never go here. Worst wait of any pharmacy wait I have ever had in my life. In. My.life. Ridiculous. A lady before me even got a call it was ready then they hassled her and she has still been waiting. I am about 40 minutes as I write this and she is at 30 minutes after getting a call saying it was ready! This is madness. Should have read the reviews instead of just coming here because it’s close to my house and assumed a CVS is a CVS. Uhhh no.
Pharmacist said I was too early to refill a medication when it said online I wasnt. He was extremely rude when he spoke. I went to the pharmacy a block from my job at the Waterfront D.C. location about an hour later and was in and out in 5 mins having filled my prescription. It was the fastest I seen someone fill a prescription. MADE NO SENSE why the Annandale location said no.
WORST PHARMACY EVER- Negative 5 stars if possibleScripts get lost, staff say you dont have a script when you have multiple ones sent ahead of time from the Drs office. They also tell you that you took too much medication and should not have run out.. Staff for the most part is pretty incompetent nor are they caring. They are ALWAYS understaffed with flustered staff members not knowing where stuff is. Ive ALWAYS had an issue with them when picking up my meds. I was due for a refill on the 6th per my Drs office and its now the 10th... the staff member argued that I didnt have a script and if I did, it wasnt time for me to refill it. Come here if you want to waste your time, and be treated horribly. Save yourself the headache and hassle, and stay away from here.
Pharmacy is terrible. There is easily a 10 minute wait even if you are just trying to drop off a prescription. I just waited 14 minutes to talk to someone on the phone and the call was cut off. There is a very narrow access to the drive through and for *months* there were 2 very deep and unavoidable potholes. They finally have been patched but badly done.
My doctor sent two prescription electronically. They did not show up on CVS system. Emily, one of the Pharmacist who was busy doing a number of other things, stepped in and helped to solve the problem with a smile. She even went above and beyond her line of duty to get my prescriptions filled correctly. Thank you, Emily.
Generally I dont like CVSs. However, out of sheer convenience I decided to stop at this one to pick up some medicine for my extreme allergies. I grabbed the CVS version of Mucinex and went to the register. The foreign woman asked for my ID. I said what, why? She said you have to be over 18 to buy this and I responded, yes, I am. She said ok well I need to see your ID. I didnt have it and she said she couldnt sell it to me. Wow. Never again. I look young for my age by I am nearly twice the legal limit to buy it. Not to mention the sound of my voice, coughing and sneezing were clear indicators I had a proper need for the medicine. Furthermore, I dont think she truly needed the ID to scan it or anything, she only needed to know that I was 18+. Guess what? Immediately after that I drove to a nearby grocery store. There the clerk asked my birth date, entered it in the computer and off I went. Dont waste your time here
The people are nice and knowledge - but this is a busy pharmacy! I will prefer to drive 10 more minutes then wait here for minimum an hour and half. .
The pharmacy is horrible. It took 6 hours to fill a simple prescription that should have been ready in 3 hours. I was not the only one in line with that problem either. They also dont seem to carry products common at other CVS stores, or at least they are not on the shelves. Avoid this store.
Great service !! The pharmacy does a great job
I am sick I went Wednesday to pick up my medication that my doctor called in two and a half hours after it was called in. And it still was not ready. My son is sick now. His doctor called his prescription in at 1:30 today and it still was not ready at 5 oclock. Its not a medication that needs to be counted its already pre-set and its bottle. But it still was not ready I was explained there short staffed. They couldnt get help in. Blah blah blah. When I paid for the prescription. I realized that they charged me more for my sons prescription today then mine on Wednesday and it was the exact same medication same dosage same everything. And I had to wait even longer to get a refund. No one wants to wait in a pharmacy 4 hours dealing with this bull crap when they have a horrible sinus infection and strep throat. When they cant hardly speak. This is absolute nonsense. Do not go to this Pharmacy if you were in a hurry or you want things done correctly.
I went to have a prescription filled at the window. I waited 10 mins to have someone finally come to the window. Once the women came to the window she wrote down my information on a posted (never checking the system) and told me itd be ready in one hour. When I came back three 3 hours later they still didnt have my prescription ready and told me Id have to wait another 15-30 minutes. Once I got my prescription and got home I noticed it was a completely wrong prescription. I now have to go back and have them correct my prescription.... I wont be going back to this location.
Excitement customers service by Daud Ahmed.
Absolutely awful. Enough said.
I wish if I could give 0 star... terrible customer service I have ever seen.Went to this cvs store to buy cologne was in the queue this cashier name den asked me to wait, there were another customer after me and he started serving them, I went to another cashier name Niketa, she asked me to wait because there was another customer just came after me. I have been waiting there for almost 15 minutes. Finally the first cashier (Den) realized I have been waiting he came out from his desk and helped me take out cologne from the locked shelf and instead of doing the payment he ran away somewhere in the store and again I have to be in the queue to get the payment done.So unprofessional staff won’t recommend to anyone they don’t care of your time took me 25 minutes to get one cologne.
Worst customer service!!! Very unfriendly staff. Everyone including minute clinic doctors are rude! Staff at the pharmacy don’t know anything. They take their slow time talking to each other when customers are waiting.
These guys are horrible.Dirty, poorly stocked, and incredibly rude. And if you park there, go in to shop, then walk even across the street to grab something else quickly, they will call the tow truck that is apparently just waiting around the corner to tow you. It doesnt matter if you bought something there, once you walk out the door, they expect you to leave IMMEDIATELY. More than one friend has been towed here. The only upside is the minute clinic. They are pretty friendly and will get to you as soon as possible. The clinic is the only reason this isnt a zero-star review.
Hate to come here..pharmacy takes forever even though they don’t have customer. No care for customer.
It’s a complete mess. It’s incredible that this CVS is still in business with how bad the pharmacy is. Never enough staff. RX’s are never ready on time. Can’t get anyone on the phone. None of the employees seem to give a damn about the 20 people waiting in one line when two other registers aren’t being attended. Every time I go there I’m told it’s still in processing. Wait 30 more minutes. SAD! as Trump would say.
Staff are very rude and Especially the Bald Indian guy . Sir ! Stop being races towards Asian. Stop hiding all the alcohol behind the counter . Corporate have to do something about this behavior.
I called and called this pharmacy, waiting for up to 15 minutes each time and no one answered the phone. Finally I called the main store and asked if there was anyone working in the pharmacy and she assured me there was, so I asked if she could walk back there and ask them to answer the phone. She put me on hold. Six minutes later I was still on hold, so I finally gave up. You win, CVS. 👏
I went to this store today and the lady, Shamimur, who worked the photo are fixed a calendar for me, that another CVS tried to prepare for weeks, and never did. Thankful she took the time to help me!
Very very bad service. They not helpful. About 2 years ago they gave me wrong medicine and the manager said sorry. Since then I never go there. Now my insurance force me to use cvs but I went 3 times to get 1 medicine. At the end if you have choice dont use this CVS. SOOOOOO BAD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The cubby Asian girl that works at the pharmacy needs to learn customer service. Very rude. Not a good worker for your company. But the girl that works at the front cashier was very friendly and greeted very well.
The worst cvs ever! Very very bad service! The pharmacist who works at night shift was very slow & he wasnt nice at all! I waited for a medicine for almost 90 minutes!!! While waiting to pick up my medicine I saw many customers who were unhappy & unsatisfied for that pharmacist service! He should learn about customer service a little bit!!!
Weekday evenings are horrid waits. Been in the drive thru for almost a half hr! Inside lines are worse. Last week pharmacist told me to get the babys medicine otc that DID NOT MATCH what was written but was too busy to help so wanted me gone to deal with others. Unacceptable.
Slowest pharmacy service I have ever experienced
Very bad service for one of the pharmacy at night shift. She has a bad attitude. So disappointed. I feel so bad for all the customers from this area. I live in Springfield but unfortunately my kids medicine arent able in Springfield plaza, and I had to drive all the way to here☹😡😠
The most rude and unprofessional pharmacy staff ever. It’s probably because they are understaffed.
I agree with all negative comments. I went not to long ago. I asked for a sales paper the supervisor asian guy told me they dint have one. Then I walked to this Hispanic guy with pony tail he was to busy on his cell phone that was extremely mean. I live close but I dont come to this one because every body are mean, no help and dont have a clue what is a costumer service. One star because it would not let me post the messege
I HATE coming to the pharmacy here. Every single time I have come in I have met a different issue, and the staff is has been rediculously unhelpful. The customer service is HORRID. Whenever I ask questions specific to my perscriptions or my insurance, the pharmacy workers give me blank stares and insist that there is nothing they can do. I have had to have a manager step in almost every time to solve simple problems (running an alternate insurance, calling my dr for refills, transferring perscriptions). Even though this one is closest to where I live, I now get my perscriptions filled at the CVS in Burke, where the staff is kind and helpful.
I wholeheartedly agree with many other customers about this place. Since the new drugstore across the street has opened, I have not been back to CVS which is a good thing.
On hold for 45 minutes and never answered the phone
The technician should change their behavor with their costumer. Such a bad attention except for the woman who speaks spanish in the pharmacy section, she is such a nice person.
Horrible. I went in with electronic cvs gift cards and the night shift workers Mulu and this other girl working that night blatantly told me to leave and come back in the morning because an email gift card is invalid. Mulu then had the odacity to look at the ecards on my phone and tell me it said to print the cards so leave print it and come back like something would be different. This store sucks!
Worst experience of my life. They are the only CVS with a medication in stock in the dc/nova area. The pharmacist refuses to give the medication after being rude, and saying he must call my doctor because the medication makes people drowsy. If thats the reason why then why is benadryl in the aisles...? That makes people drowsy, do you need to call my doctor for that too? Dont use this CVS! Beyond unethical when this medication must be taken or I can become very sick. A piece of paper from my doctor is not enough.
Went in to grab some gift cards and service was great. Store could be cleaner.
Terrible. Get more than one person working the pharmacy most hours, for the love of god.
The worst part of having a sick kid is having to go to this Pharmacy. Usually you get a call: Your prescription is ready. Show up, wait 2 hours for the prescription...
This cvs has worst customer service ever.✅🛑 Never again ✅🛑
The other bad reviews are right on. The pharmacy staff are clearly overwhelmed and it shows in their customer service. Feels like a visit to the DMV.
Worst Pharmacy ever, the prescription takes couple of hours to fill it, top of that day staff are rude!! Lost me for ever!!!!
Worst experience in my life, had to stay in pain. Waiting more than an hour, had no clear answer and left without anything.
Waited in line at the Phramacy for 20 minutes with no one else around and 4 employees behind the counter only to be told that a flu shot would be an hour long wait.
I been coming in this CVS for pharmacy for over 10 years they had good people working, but lately they have very rude people, they don’t bother to explain why you have a message from them your med is ready then when you go never ready, extremely rude and unprofessional, especially one young lady, I don’t know how she is keeping her job!!!!!
Terrible service in pharmacy. Do not go here.
A very bad experience with customer agent THY” he charged twice looks confused and waisted my time ECB’s.
No issues here for me.
Shittiest customer service I have ever seen cashiers are rude and full of themselves
Worst service ever, a lady working there was so rude, took more than an hour just to pickup a medicine prescribed by my doctor during the normal business hour.
Terrible service . If you complaint they just show how they dont give a ... they told me I had to wait an hour so I took my prescriptions to Walgreens across the street, 3 (three not 30 ) minutes later I was in my car going home with my medicine .
Very bad service............Rough customer serviceI never gonna go back again.........
In and out in 10 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and professional at the pharmacy
Worst pharmacy staffs ever
Been using for years.
Came for a rapid covid test today. Sat in the drive through line for almost an hour. Was told to go to the front of the building. Told them what had happened and the woman just says “you are late. you are very late” and walks away! The absolute most rude service. Would not recommend anyone to even set foot here
At the end of January, my primary doctors nurse called for an urgently needed antibiotic order, and the person who answered the call was very rude and said she couldnt take the order because they were too busy getting the shots. This is how it was called to call the CVS of prosperity in Fairfax and within 6 minutes they called me to claim the medicine, the service and the kindness of the people was excellent. So I was surprised that I have been with your service for more than 10 years. That has not been very good either.
It is quite assorted, I like it
Good attention
