I rather buy my wines at a real wine store and save. The same bottle that Giant store sell cost $3 to $4 more even with the card. I dont mind pay$1.50 more.

This is my local Giant. Clean and well-stocked, but smaller than the higher-priced competition.

This place isnt usually too busy, they have a small but good produce section. Love their freshly made bread, and bakery deals. The place is clean and staff are usually friendly.

A great location near The Gym

This store has been on the decline for quite some time and especially so since under new management recently. Poor labeling, limited selections in brands, basic items no longer sold, etc. Sad because this has been my Giant since it opened.

Go there 3xs a week know most of the workers..shopping there since opening..

Go to giant - recommend during the week - not the best for social distancing.Typical updated Giant - has everything you need including good produce and well stocked deli.COVID Floors are highlighted with directional arrows but no one follows them which is a little frustrating. But everyone does wear masks.It can get very very busy during peak hours.Couple other items - staff are very friendly, self checkout machines have been updated and are easy to use, and parking lot is safe to navigate.

Bright, fresh clean store just opened in Springfield, replacing the original store that opened in 1960. Lots of new staff. Some willing to help, others not so. Most staff avoiding customers seeking directions and location of items in the new layout, seemed to have language barrier. This is the second new Giant that I have been in since September. Both had issues with service deli staff and major language barrier. On should not have to repeat 1 pound ofBoars Head Yellow Vermont Cheddar FOUR times to get an order. Other than staff issues, the store was well stocked (but then, it should be, right?) Well lighted, and easy to get around in. Only other problem is customers still do not seem to understand Giants directional signs on the floor to keep traffic on the isles safe during the pandemic.

They didnt say anything about mask on my companion.

Smallest of the Giant stores near us but had unusual grocery selections. E.g every single flavor of the multitudes of flavors of Doritoes and Pringles but we couldnt find marshmallow fluff. Things were had to find because organization was different than other stores. I suppose they are catering to the neighborhood clientele as they should but it dissuades me from returning. Self-check attendant was very charming and respectful to my kids.

Everything was in place and I did forget my mask, thankfully they let me go in with a jacket tied around my mouth. They were helpful at the register when it came to an offer that didnt go through and handled everything in a professional manner.

Yesterday feb/18/20 at store # 249 (11:30am) I was so happy for service.* Seafood dpt - Mr Carlos.*Checkout dpt - Ms Tracy Chen.Both they did perfectly their job .Top customer service. I think ( All customers service have to leaning about them. ) My favorite grocery store !

I recently had surgery so asked the check-out associate to please not make the bags heavy. She was wonderfully cooperative and another staff person pushed my cart to my car and loaded my bags into my car!

Despite the convenience of its location, I have decided to stop shopping here after the latest disappointment... Fish gone bad at purchase, with a sale label printed conveniently over the passed expiration date. Have found in the past that veggies are quick to go bad. Salads get soggy before expiration dates. Berries often covered in mold at the bottom of the basket. Disappointing quality overall. More, fresher veggie selection at nearby stores.

This is the third time Ive come to this store and there is blood from the meat that has leaked from the packaging. This is a contamination risk for all the other food in my cart. This needs to be fixed immediately

They carry some items that I cannot find at other stores, such as Heinz Malt Vinegar. They also carry Croc extra sharp cheddar cheese, which is not easily located. The service is great. The parking lot is handicapped accessible.

The quick check out attendant 1/31 at 6:30 pm. Kept pacing behind me and looking in my purse, cut in front of me after handing me my receipt did something on my machine and told the next customer to start his check out while blocking me from getting my groceries. I complained to the manager. Worse customer service today. Seven year customer!!!

Wellstaffed and well stocked. Always fresh produce and seafood. On the bus lines for METRO and Fairfax Connector, so convenience is a plus.

Originally my review was a 2.5. I just returned from doing grocery shopping at this Giant location and I am extremely annoyed at the way their register system runs. They only have checker lanes for those purchasing 12 items or less. If you are purchasing any more than that (something Im sure most grocery shoppers do) you have to go through a self check lane and bag your own groceries. This seems extremely inefficient and, to make matters worse, every time I scanned a produce item an associate had to come and approve the purchase. That is absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time. In addition, the check lane shuts down if you scan too many items without bagging them first which makes grocery shopping on your own a big chore because the bagging area is about 8 feet from the checking area so you have to continuously walk back and forth. Im extremely disappointed with this experience, especially because I liked the variety they carried in store. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this location again and will be on the hunt for a different grocer to frequent.Edit to this review: Its been about 4 days since I last reviewed and a bunch of my produce is rotting! I had to throw out an entire spaghetti squash, half a bushel of asparagus, and several apples. Id now change my review to a one star. Definitely WILL NOT be returning.

The best Giant I have been to! When I walked in I was met by a greeter (I regret I didnt catch his name) who knew exactly where to send me. Customer service above and beyond. This store is a little bit out of the way for me, but worth the trip!

We went to this store for a quick mid-week shopping trip. Very few registers were open so we went through self check-out. At the end of the transaction the card readers said my card was declined. So I tried again, knowing there was plenty of money in my account. Again the reader declined the transaction. So the third time I processed it as credit and all but $20 went through. Not understanding, I look at my bank account to see the store has repeatedly charged my card until my account balance was zero!!When I asked for the manager, he told me this happens all the time and theres nothing he can do about it. I should just wait and see if the charges fall off. If not then come tell the store and they would fix it then. WHAT?!?!So now my account is empty and I have no faith that this store has any intentions of fixing it.

What you would want and expect from a neighborhood chain grocery store: clean, decent variety, convenient to where I live.

This is another one of my neighborhood stores so I am a bit biased. I lean on the florist as a replacement for all of the other flower vendors. They work it out for me all of the time. With the floral section, theyre my go to grocery store. Gove them a shot and help me keep them in business!

They had everything I was looking for including Turkey Hill Premium Homemade Ice Cream. So if I need certain items I will go to this Giant.

This grocery is very dependable for me at least.I guy at Golds nearby and I do a lot of my groceries right after I work out. They have all the essentials, kitchen equipment, all the basic food products and an extended selection of brands.Service is also pretty darn good, I hate browsing so I usually just ask from the staff where the thing Im looking for is, they never dont know and they have never been wrong.I do all my grocery shopping here and it has yet to fail me.

My best experience with Giant has not been with the store per se, but withtwo employees: Brit, a manager at the Bradlick location, and Judy G., a long time associate . Over the last 10 years, I have witnessed Brit interacting with difficult customers and dealing with a multitude of problems with grace and professionalism; Judy G. has been helpful on several occasions when no one else was.I hope they are given the credit by management for going above and beyond their job descriptions and for consistently providing superior service on a continued basis.

Ordered A Full Sheet Cake(feeds up to 60 people) for my oldest daughters 2nd Birthday, ordered marble batter with whipped frosting, decorated with Disney Frozen theme. Was absolutely amazing. Not too sweet chocolate and vanilla lovers both liked it. Just came back and ordered for my youngest daughters 2nd Birthday party, this is a princess cake with an added Minnie Mouse figure on top and writing. Their whipped frosting is amazing and if u cant pick a flavor go with Marble!!

My favorite market place

Its pretty clean but their service needs to worked on.I guess, they had moved some stuff around and the person I had asked for help- was blatantly F/:kg rude.The said- F/:kg- What? I didnt have time for their attitude and I went looking for the manager to ask for help- to find the goods I wanted.Sometimes the staff are rude- be frank with them not rude- thanks for your time and Ill find my own way.I dont go this grocery store that often.

Basically a run of the mill supermarket but, it is conveniently located, has good parking, is clean, well stocked, good variety, and helpful staff. This is my go-to place for shopping.

This Giant Food is clean, well stocked, and well maintained. Their meat, seafood, and produce departments normally offer a wide, fresh variety of items.

Update 1/21/19: I had given this place 4 stars as my only problem was food still stocked after the sell by date. Lowering that because I didnt check my frozen chicken in the store and ended up with a bag that has a best by date of 1/5/18. This just feels like gross negligence; that chicken should have been off the shelf a year ago, and even if someone misread the year it would still be over by weeks.

An average grocery story. Nothing to high end or low end. Just right in the middle for food prices.

Fairly clean location and overall a decent place to shop. Constantly inconsistent prices and inventory between visits means often having to make additional stops to get everything needed.

I shop at this Giant often and the main fault I find is some items that I like tend to be out of stock often. On the positive side the staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a pretty standard grocery store. Customer service is not exceptional, and sometimes even sub-par. Please make sure to view all the dates on the dairy items! I have seen some items where everything on the shelf had expired for more than a month. And, when this was pointed out to employees, there did not seem to be much concern about it.

Pretty good grocery store, good quality and for the most part the service is good, have had a few interesting encounters..

They have changed the electronic checkouts.No longer can you see if you are getting the correct discount on the screens!So you can no longer tell if you are getting the discount they have advertised when you check it out yourself.The same applies when you watch the checker enter the items. There is no way to see if you get the discount or not unless you actually buy it and then go over your receipt!They actually hide the data about discounts so you can no longer catch the mistakes real time. Of course they often make mistakes on the discounts that I used to be able to catch instantly. What an awful awful thing to do to us. Bye Giant.
