Genset acted up. The boatyard was able to squeeze us in during post boat show madness, and Zach (tech) showed up exactly at the time stated, finished repair quickly and had us out in 2 hours.Would highly recommend this business as many of our friends have used them as well and all have been satisfied.

We have used Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard for the last 3 years. They have performed both major and minor repairs on our Delphia 40.3. We have also stored our boat with them for 3 winters. They are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks to John, JoAnne, Ben, Joann and everyone there. Would definitely recommend them.

We took a trip from Sea Isle City NJ to Annapolis. As we were leaving to go back home we spun a hub. Luckily we were only a couple of miles away from the harbor. We immediately called Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard and John, the president answered. With no hesitation he said to bring the boat to his yard for him to take a look. As he was waiting for us to get there he immediately started making calls to find the parts needed to fix our boat. We had our two kids on the boat and needed to get home. When we arrived he immediately took our boat out of the water to remove the propeller in the hopes he would get the necessary parts soon and be able to put the hub back together quickly. It was obvious John and his staff was doing everything they could to get us back on the water. He ended up getting the part but unfortunately it was too late in the day for us to leave same day. We would be driving in the dark and we didnt want to take the 6 hr trip in the dark with the kids. John offered to call the marina next door and get us a deal on where we could dock our boat until we could return the following weekend to pick it up. All the while I was panicking on what it would all cost. I know our marina back home would see this as an opportunity to charge a lot and make some money. That wasnt Johns plan and it was obvious. His attitude was knowing how upsetting it is to deal with a boat problem knowing all we wanted was to get back onto the water. He didnt take advantage of us and could have, we were stuck. We have had issues with our boat in the past and would call our marina, after spending tons of money there, and we never received this kind of wonderful service. Fairness and honestly are hard to find anymore these days, John and Joanne, the owner, are the exception. I begged them to move to Sea Isle so we would have them to take care of our boat!

Needed a quick turn on an unexpected auto-pilot repair while transiting through the area. Joanne was able to order the part and get it next day. She scheduled installation first thing the following morning with their ace mechanic and we were able to continue journey without incident.

We needed a warranty repair of our Raymarine electronics. As a transient we asked the yard to deal with obtaining replacement parts and the scheduled the repair. They gave us dock space, had the parts in 1 business day and completed the repair. I could not have asked for better service. Great experience and professional repairs. Competent, efficient, and professional.

We brought AHBY our brand new boat to have a SeaKeeper installed. With all the work they performed inside and out, I never found anything that wasnt to my liking and they even fixed a couple manufacture defects in the process. Boat was also completed on time and did not require a bunch of follow up phone calls and there were no surprises.

I can’t speak highly enough about the professionalism and “can do” attitude of this company and their staff. We had been speaking with another marine tech about repairing a hole in our floor that our dealer has neglected for 2 years (new boat). We are from out of the area and were here for the sailboat show...a very busy time for these yards. When the original tech saw the hole, he wasn’t confident enough to tackle the problem and referred us to Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard.I called them on Wednesday afternoon and explained our problem and sent pictures. I also advised them that we were planning to depart the area the following Monday morning; giving them only 2 days to handle our issue. They were hesitant and unsure if they could get to us that quickly but then contacted us early Friday morning and said they could get us in If we could get over there ASAP.I was on a mooring ball by myself (husband was at work) and they came out to assist me in getting off the ball and to the dock... talk about above and beyond! Not only did they get the hole in the floor addressed (which they did a beautiful job...and I am PICKY) but they were also able to change out our holding tank hoses! The new hoses completely eliminated the horrific smell we’ve had in the head for the last year.I’ll tell you what, good customer service is hard to find these days (especially in the marine industry) but this company NAILED IT!!A big shout out to John, JoAnn, Ben, Zack, Mark and the rest of the staff... Thank you so much for being so good to us!You guys are “Off The Hook”!! 👍🏻👍🏻

I had to replace the motor for my Wheel Pilot when the part came in it needed to have a couple of wires soldered. But I didn’t have an iron with me. They took care of the job on a very busy Friday and treated me like I just spent a gang of money. You want service they provide it. No matter how much or little you spend. Just good old fashioned service!!!

Too busy for my business, but couldnt actually tell me that. Jon wasted my time on two occasions. Very disappointed with their lack of service and communication.

My grandson planned to settle on the boat and immediately move it from Annapolis to the ocean that day. All involved knew this and all knew that I was coming up from out of state to help him.The boat is a one owner boat that belonged to a friend of a close friend of mine. I knew that the owner had a boat yard keep the boat maintained. This yard not only de-commissioned and re-commissioned the boat every year, but also replaced the fuel tank, both engines and one transmission. The boat sea trialed fine with the exception that the tachs only read 3100 rpms at full power and are designed for 4200-4500 rpms.Nothing in any of the documents mentioned this. We accepted the boat and are hoping to figure out if it is a syncing issue, prop issue or a combination. The boat yard had, and still have no information on this even though they installed the new engines. They also do not have any information on the size of the fuel tank that they bought and installed. After settlement and as we were leaving the dock, the starboard engine stopped running. The mechanic came down to help figure it out and ultimately found that the starboard engines secondary filter was corroded so badly that it stopped fuel flow to the engine. My grandson (Mostly), the mechanic and myself worked on getting the filter out of the housing and cleaning out all of the corrosion. We checked all of the other filters (Port primary and secondary and starboard primary)and found them to be in good condition. This one was very difficult to reach and as a result appeared to have not been replaced for many years. They found the filters and put them in but would not let us leave until my grandson paid them $750 +/- to replace filters that they should have changed when they changed all of the others. They also told us that the fuel tank was empty... even though the papers showed that they treated the fuel. After the bill was paid the mechanic brought us 2-5gallon containers of fuel and asked that we have them refilled and bring them back to him. My grandson asked him if he would just take forty dollars for the gas and keep the containers. He agreed.I had a clue that there was going to be a problem when I first noticed that the boat had not been cleaned...at all. It was so filthy from the winter that I had to wash it just to walk on it without slipping.Any reputable businessman would have taken care of this problem in the best interest of a good customer and a potential new one. There can be no doubt that the mechanics simply missed this filter...for years. This site will not allow me to post these remarks without clicking at least one star. In my opinion this company does not deserve one star. Negative stars would be more accurate. They certainly did not take care of us and they certainly did not take good care of the previous owner...and I am sure he paid them well.
