I brought my wedding dress to Annapolis Bridal & Tuxedo in April for alterations. When I arrived for my next fitting on May 22nd (2 weeks before my wedding), I discovered a yellow stain on the front right side of my dress that was not there when I originally brought the dress in. When I asked Dora about the stain, she claimed that it was there when I brought her the dress (I have photos of myself in the dress before I brought it to her—no stain) and that she wrote it down on my receipt (she wrote stain front right on my receipt from that same day I noticed the stain, not on the original receipt that was given to me in April when I brought my dress to her). She stated that the stain on the embroidery was the way the dress was made and that there was no way for the stain to be removed. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. Dora never apologized or even offered to help remove the stain. I brought the dress to a dry cleaner in Annapolis and they painstakingly removed the stain by hand (after I was told by Dora that the stain was there when the dress was made and it couldnt be removed...). They also noticed that my alterations had not been finished--the straps of my dress were still straight pinned! After paying $650 for my dress to be stained and alterations that weren’t completed, I paid an additional $200 at the dry cleaner to fix the mistakes created by Annapolis Bridal & Tuxedo. Im extremely disappointed in the service provided by Annapolis Bridal & Tuxedo and in the way that everything was handled.

Flavia and Dora were awesome! We started out with a July wedding and snuck in a Mini-mony in May. Everything was completed in a timely manner and my daughter was BEAUTIFUL! Thank you so much 💕💕💕

Dora and Flavia were an absolute delight through the entire process of altering my daughter Ali’s dress. In fact, we had 3 dresses altered: hemmed and taken in- my MOB dress, Ali’s ball gown and reception change gown. We also purchased her veil and comb from the salon. The only change I would make is we would have come to the ladies to shop for the bridesmaid and wedding dress as well. We will be calling to have her dress cleaned and preserved. As someone in the business of customer service I was blown away by the level of care and attention to detail I received. Not only was I only renting a tuxedo, but it was last minute. Gentlemen, hands down the easiest and quickest shopping experience and Ill be looking sharp for my wedding. Im sure if you need a dress, as well, it would be a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this well hidden gem of Annapolis! The gowns are beautiful, the selection is great, has a sweet home comfort feel, and the service is absolutely incredible. My family and I had so much fun picking out a dress and yes.. we found THE one! If youre looking for your perfect wedding dress you MUST stop in this treasure of a shop!

I paid close to $500 in alterations and did not even receive what I asked for. I had the straps taken in and the bottom hemmed. She did not put buttons on my dress to pin the train up for the reception. This was extremely disappointing because it was rainy outside. I was very disappointed that I paid so much for alterations and did not even receive what I asked for and unfortunately I did not know until the day of my wedding when we tried pinning my dress up. She also lost my bag that my dress came in which upset me. She did give me another bag but I wanted to one my wedding dress came in and she lost it. I would not recommend.

A wonderful business. They were so helpful with my sons tuxedo during the school lockdowns for COVID-19. I had to cancel until the parents found an alternative venue then reorder. Annapolis Bridal and Tuxedo went out of their way to find the previous order and get it in fast. I couldnt recommend this place more highly.

Dora & Sherma did a fantastic job on my wedding dress & my moms dress! I ordered my online and it was about 3 sizes too big. They altered it to perfection and it fit me like a glove. They also altered a bridesmaids dress of mine and a jumpsuit I wore after the wedding ceremony. They are so friendly, knew exactly what I wanted, and did a wonderful job! Their prices are also very reasonable for wedding alterations. I highly recommend them!

When I arrived at Annapolis Bridal and Tux, the owners were super friendly, honest, and when I left after my first appointment, I felt so confident that they could do the job! When I picked my dress up after my final fitting, I immediately knew I made the right choice. The dress was perfect and everything I had imagined. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for great service and a great shopping experience!

I cant say enough great things about this business! I got my bridesmaids dress alerted days before the wedding at no extra charge and it was perfectly done! The women are so nice and accommodating and I will absolutely be giving them my future business. I only wish Id known about them in the past!

I do NOT suggest getting your bridal gown altered here. When I received the dress after the final fitting there was a pull through the silk train under the lace (which they did not inform me they made) and the bustle was not evenly done. Ill be going to another place to get it fixed.

They were able to bring my dress down multiple sizes, rearrange buttons and lace to make my wedding dress fit perfectly

I rented tails here for my wedding. Flavia and her mother were knowledgeable and helpful and made sure I got a properly fitting suit for my big day. Its also worth saying that their prices were much better than their competitors.

Adorable, family run shop with reasonably priced dresses. You wont get an experience like you see on TV shows, but they are very casual and give you all the help you need.

They are so reliable and they really care about their customers. Dora and Flavia do AMAZING work and they finish alterations very quickly! If you have a question about anything they are very quick in calling or emailing back.I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from them and the dresses even came in about a month earlier than I expected, so my bridesmaids had plenty of time for alterations. I also had my wedding dress altered there which could have been a stressful experience, but they are so laid back and so good at what they do, which really eased my nerves. The dress fit perfectly!I also had an accident with my veil when the tulle ripped about 3 inches. Flavia and Dora were the only ones who were able to fix it. They were able to get creative and it ended up looking amazing – the tear was completely hidden!If you want someone who you can completely trust and not have to worry about, I absolutely recommend going to them for purchasing dresses and/or any alteration you need (male or female).
