This store will not honor Veterans with a Maryland drivers license designation. The clerk was quite proud to tell me that.The one in Forrest plaza will honor the Veterans Maryland drivers license. This is a Anti-American Home Depot that must be managed by a far left Joe Biden lovers. I wont go in here ever again. GO BRANDON! This store gets a F- from me. F this store and F Joe Biden.
My husband and I want to give a shout out to James, the manager of the tools department at the North Annapolis Home Depot. James knowledge of his products, coupled with his outstanding customer service skills, are beyond praise! He patiently answered all of our questions, educated us on the best product for our needs, saved us time and money, and is an excellent representative for your North Annapolis store.
I would like to commend customer service employee Danielle. I visited store #2557, I was having problems with my online order Ms. Danielle resolved the issue she took time with me by searching the data base to find the freezer that I was looking for she found the match in the system and I was able to get my freezer within the hour. Which I had been waiting for nearly two weeks to be delivered. Ms. Danielle is clearly an Ambassador for Home Depot. Please commend this lady for her outstanding service to her customers.

We have been attempting to return a fridge that we rightfully should be able to return after adhering to the 48 return policy. Well it’s been 2 months and i’ve heard ever excuse they could think of to not come and pick this fridge up i have made physical appearances, called and emailed requesting them to please take the fridge back yet their appliance sections believe they can’t do anything without a manager present which is IMPOSSIBLE to have one working when I need them most. Worst service i have ever had to deal with. Workers are nice though. Take back your damn fridge.
We prefer this location but also nice that this company has another location close by too. Staff is helpful and has provided some additional insight and advice on unique projects. Easy returns too.
A great place to go to, to do ur Home Improvements, parts/building materials, etc. Also a place to take ur son and/or daughter to help Dad, Mom or both fix up the home inside/outside.
Largest Home Depot in the area. More selection than other HD stores in the area.
The worst to deal with. Over promising and under delivering. To get the sale they promised a 3 week max turn around installed. Going on two months with a serious lack of communication. Do not get custom blinds from Home Depot. Diane cannot even reply to a email and other 3rd parties they use for install states this store is notorious for lying to customers about turn around time.
This is the larger of the two Home Depots in Annapolis. Because of this it typically has a larger and wider stock of products. The helpfulness of associates has gotten better in the past few years. The contractor checkout is nice but has limited hours compared to the rest of the store. Self checkout in nice and has recently been updated. The Home Depot smartphone app is helpful and accurate when pointing you where to find something in store.

Employees are nice they have way too many managers and getting stuff installed from them could be awful or great its 50/50 they have different sub contractors for literally everything the flooring people are the worst the ones for windows are great also if you want anything installed on the eastern shore it will take like 3 months becuase transporing across the bay bridge is apparently super difficult for some reason

Rarely any customer service like back in the day. Employees in aisles just talking to one another about personal stuff or their hours, etc. Not enough competition to keep them on their toes. The product not in store as the website said it was at that store. Used to be so much more organized.
Deliveries always on time with a call ahead. Cannot say this for other home improvement store in the area!
You can do it....we can help :) They lived up to that. I visit this home depot for lots of things and I must say they are extremely helpful. There are minor things like patching a hole, sealing a window seal, or assisting with ant killer or lawn seeding. Then there are major things (major to me) like replacing blinds - what brought me here now. I am sometimes not sure I can do it but they walk me through and they have youtube videos!! I was looking for blinds because mine literally separated and fell apart. I wasnt sure just looking for a replacement. Well, tje staff was patient. The lady that assisted me sat hours with me as we poured through the books and online. I really should have researched. I was impressed with the blinds on display. I decided (after hours) on day/night shades. She never complained and wasnt forceful. We came up with color scheme (something that will ultimately match the tile I will be installing on the main wall). We ordered them - custom order would take 3 weeks. Home Depot has a military discount (and I support stores that have one, Lowes take you through too much for 10% - Home Depot is easy peasy). In less than 3 weeks, my blinds arrived in the mail. Nicely packaged and well maintained (not a scratch or dent). The hardware was separated and labeled. I watched the install video and in about 30 minutes - 45 minutes (because I couldnt figure out the snap :) ) I was done and had new blinds!

Very upset started in upper marlboro they sent me to bowie sed sold out they called Annapolis they sed they had 140 got there they were sold out they called the second one in Annapolis they sed they had them but once again wasnt my gas and time
This is one of the better HD locations I have visited. The selection of pro tools here is the best in the region. Parking is good and accessible to the main drag without taking your life into your hands. The location is clean and well staffed. I like it.

This is a good Home Depot location. They have most of what you would expect a Home Depot to have. I wanted a specific key made and they did not have it. They did recommend me to a local shop that carries the key, Thank you!
The Home Depot Store on Defense Highway is probably the best run store I’ve come in lately. The store was unbelievably organized and neat ZERO mess. Easy to find everything. The sales associates were all well trained and eager to assist me while shopping. Special thank you to Mark Gilbert ASM who helped me at the customer service desk. A huge thank you to Nick Spirydakos the store manager. He definitely has a great store and great people. Usually you can find one thing to criticize, but I couldn’t. Thank you Nick for helping me and running a great store!!! Highly recommended for sure.
Selection is terrible here. Couldnt find 3 items. Gave up on asking for help. Just a bunch of Chinese made junk.
Very convenient from where I live. Employees are very helpful well the ones that love their job anyway. I did notice a couple that didn’t like their job cause they gave me an attitude when I asked them or should I say bothered them cause they were just having their own little conversation plus the smell of marijuana very heavy. I’m surprised a boss or another co worker didn’t smell it coming from them. I didn’t want my child catching a contact so I got help elsewhere and I’m glad I did cause that guy knew where everything was I needed. Will do business there again just will be cautious who I ask for assistance.

Was extremely crowded for COVID times but everything else was good.
Exactly the help and product I needed to fix my broken window. Customer service agent carefully checked the label for my old broken window sash and put in an order online for a new one. Amazing that they still had the records from the prior owner and that I only had to order the upper sash rather than an entire window. I was able to replace it all by myself when the unit arrived.
Like the folks at HD better than Lowes. They at least try.
Prefer over Lowes. If you cant get it in store you can certainly find it on their site & have shipped.

Went inside to buy a caliper and a tool bag. Home Depot is online price for the tool bag was 10 bucks cheaper than the price advertised in the store. although their website says theyll price match, they wont even match their own pricing on their own website. Call me petty, but that just lost them a sale.
The staff is kind and friendly, but I was mistaken to assume they are all experts in hardware and installation. Unfortunately their enthusiasm to help didnt make up for the fact that I didnt get the sound advice that Im used to when Ive visited some other hardware stores. Also their saw was not working and so I could get the wooden board I needed resized, either. I will say I LOVE the plant nursery department...have been buying all my houseplants there!

Large home depot great store if you dont mind waiting really long for help at customer service. I bought a expensive zero turn mower and it wasnt ready 2 days later for pick up even though I received notifications saying it was ready for pick up. I left and came back to store and still had to wait long to pick up. Store is overcrowded and overwhelmed.

Do not use their curbside pickup...it took over 2 days to fill an order of one piece of wood and a box of screws and ya calling multiple times to get it pushed through even thought the items were in stock at the store. Then when I went to pick them up, the curbside area was empty but no one came out to get my order number and I waited on hold endlessly after dialing the curbside number. Completely defeats the purpose of curbside. If it’s too busy to do curbside, don’t offer it.

As usual a frustrating experience. Paint department has items scattered all over without reason. Many empty spots on shelves. No help to be found. New registers do not support tsp to pay for some reason. Plan on visiting both Home Depot stores -- there is another half a mile away on Forest road -- this is the only way to get everything on your list.

Unacceptable. Called multiple times the morning of Saturday 9/26/2020 to try and figure out why my order (over $900 worth of equipment) was sent to a COMPLETELY different store WITHOUT even courteously letting me know my order could not be fulfilled at the store I ordered with. The associates answering the phones were EXTREMELY RUDE and had asked me to hold for OVER 20 mins on the phone and then JUST HUNG UP! THIS HAPPENED THREE TIMES (OVER 1 HOUR before I could talk to someone!!) before I told them I was NOT going to hold anymore when I called back the FOURTH TIME, and that I wanted to speak to a manager. Thankfully, Nick was able to correct my order in LESS THAN 5 mins; The way it shouldve been the first time I called. It is obvious this store LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE and associates need to be retrained. As a business with multiple contracts I would rather spend more at another store, Lowes for example, and receive somewhat decent customer service and not make the customer chase their own orders. Time is money. I will dutifully be contacting Corporate regarding the lack of customer service in attempt to improve the experience for the rest of us Pro Customers.
After the scheduled flooring measurement in my house, I was contacting the Annapolis branch to get the installation of my flooring scheduled. I called three time and I was on hold for 1 hour and 3 minutes and when somebody tried to answer, they cut my call. I took a screen shot of my call in progress. When I was in the store last week, I was also trying to get some help from the two ladies who work in the granite department. The lady with the blonde hair was ignoring me and kept showing her cellphone to her colleague and when she finally talked to me, she said my kitchen project is too small for home depot and referred me to the other granite store in Annapolis. The older female associate in the flooring department is not so forthcoming in answering our questions and seems grumpy when she took her mask off in front of us. They just wasted our time. I could have had nearly 2000 square feet of flooring project with them but they dont seem to value their customers.
Today I spoke with an employee named Réyah and she was so helpful with me over the phone. She made it so easy to return my grill that I had just bought. Then she even called me back an hour later to tell me she had one already put together in stock and she was had it upfront with my name on it so I could come get it when I could! Thank you so much Réyah for going above and beyond to be helpful!

Very good experience today. Found everything i needed and at a fair price. Customer service was very upbeat and i was able to receive assistance in tying down lumber on cargo rack. Good job.
Grandpa gloves and carpet protection film are part of what you will find here that are probably not at the other Home Depot less than a mile away. Why did they build two stores this close to each other?

I went to this store multiple times for supplies to fix some concrete. But they have one checkout guy that is actively rude. Clearly unhappy being there. We started going to the Bowie store. The checkout people are nicer.

Had to wait ten minutes after walking to front of the store to ask for help to cut a board. No one was in the lumber area on a Friday afternoon.
I needed help finding something and I asked 3 different employees for help. Not one of them would walk with me to help me look. They just pointed in a general direction, even after telling them that other employees had already said the same thing and I still couldnt find it. They also tried to avoid eye contact and turned around to walk in the other direction when I approached them for help. I never found what I needed and had to go on Amazon to order it instead.

Like most Home Depot’s they lack in customer service. I walked around looking for window squeegee and couldn’t seem to find them. I totally had the deer in the headlights look and several employees simply walked right past me. Two were even talking with each other about their weekend plans instead of even asking if I needed help. However, when I finally approached Kirk, the paint guy, he helped me and was very friendly. I wish I wouldn’t have to hunt for an employee to get help and they had a more proactive approach to customer service.
It was open. There were employees there to help. Most of the people who work there are helpful, knowledgeable, very courteous.
This evening I stopped by to get lumber to repair my steps. I was assisted by Darryl. He was very pleasant, courteous, and extremely helpful. He even retrieved a cart for me to put my lumber in as well as cut the lumber to size. Thank you Darryl for being so professional, kind, courteous, and having a sense of humor. I wished more people enjoyed their jobs. You are the best!

I am normally happy with Home Depot but my latest experience has been horrible. We made a large purchase in appliances (fridge, range, dishwasher) when our refrigerator died. We selected Home Depot over their competition (Lowes, Best Buy) because their advertised delivery timeline was shorter. We have now waited more than three weeks for a fast delivery, leaving us without a fridge for daily use. If you are looking for fast delivery I suggest you either pick up whatever they happen to have in the store or use one of their competitors.
All in all this is a pretty good store. Its always clean, well stocked and for most part theyre pretty friendly and helpful. The customer service counter is fantastic! Good people back there, never had a problem with them. However finding someone in the aisles to ask a question, or seeing a smiling face at checkout has been a different story lately. Im sure now that the holidays are pretty much done. Well see things start to get back to normal. Keep up the good work guys.
