Great store with alot of unique wood artwork from local artists. You cant find this stuff anywhere else. They also have a website were you can shop from.

I ordered a map of Finland for a Christmas present and it was beautiful. It showed up earlier than I anticipated which is always great. I absolutely will buy here again.

I ordered a glorious Chesapeake Bay map for my husband for our anniversary--and Peter delivered it to our door!!! I couldnt believe it, it was so fantastic! Sorry about the difficult time finding our house, Peter! Their service is unparalleled. Grateful to be spending money at a local(ish) store and keeping them in business. I ordered for my wifes birthday a custom map of our favorite cruising grounds in the Bahamas. The Woodcraft Artisans team delivered exactly what we wanted, asking for and responding to feedback along the way, all while honoring the original promised timeline (beating it by a couple of weeks, actually). The final product is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!!!

I got a great wedding gift from Woodcraft Artisans! A serving tray with a map of Chesapeake. They added a heart symbol to the site of the wedding. Everybody loved it!

If you enjoy getting barked at and chased out of their store by their mean and rude dog, this place is for you. Its a miracle theyre still in business, selling overpriced machine-made art and furniture thats only for selling, go to a bar if you want to look at things. (Yup, doesnt make sense).A smart business owner will know that more bodies in a store, the more valuable it looks. I guess theyd rather have their dog turn your girlfriend to tears simply for enjoying and considering their products, despite being overpriced. For now on well know to avoid stores that have a 10 minute limit on staying on the premise.

If your looking for a nautical touch to add to your home look no further. Woodcraft Artisans has a piece for every style. The staff is very friendly and I discover something new every time I visit. They have a wide selection of laser cut wooden pieces depicting many popular bodies of water. I had never seen anything like them prior to visiting. My most recent purchase is of the Chesapeake Bay. The staff couldnt have been more helpful with my purchase.Located off Main St., you can visit the store by using on street parking (easier during the day to find a spot than at night), the nearby garage, or City Dock and walking a little while. I highly recommend stopping by if only to take a look around.

I bought a beautiful wood clock in the Annapolis store. I got it home, put in a new battery, and the clock looses 2 hours every 24 hours. I contacted the store and told them about it and asked them what to do and I didnt hear back. Check the clocks to make sure they work before you but them.

I was in Annapolis earlier today with my family at Chick& Ruth’s diner (which I love). After that we took a walk around and stopped by woodcrafted artisans to look at the crafted maps showed at their window. The reason why I was interested is because I wanted to know if they make customized maps, and when we asked, they said that someone makes it for them in MA. So I walked around the place to look at their (crafts) and noticed that it was too expensive; however, I was seriously interested in the maps. Then I noticed a coffee table with two chairs that looked cool, so I tried sitting on the chair. My BF wanted to go use the restroom of the restaurant next to us and in the meantime me and his brother were sitting there on these chairs to try it out. we didn’t notice that we took quite longer than we should’ve in (using) these chairs. Someone (the owner or someone that works there) was trying to move stuff around us, so I asked him if it’s ok for us that we sat for less than 10 mins there and that if he had a problem, we could move and apologized. So he smiles and says “no no, I don’t have any problem with that. Actually you can take all the time you need and sit here and enjoy your drink as if it’s a restaurant” and then he raises his voice all of the sudden and says sarcastically “of course I don’t have a problem because this is a retail store not a restaurant or a bar, you can’t just come in and spend the rest of your day here, we have a restaurant next to us and another bar on the other side” knowing that I apologized and spoke to him respectfully!I understand that it’s a retail store and that people shouldn’t just sit if they don’t want to buy anything, and I also understand that people sometimes have bad days. But he didn’t need to treat a potential customer this way. Actually, no one should treat anyone else this way especially when people know they made a mistake and apologized for it! I left the store with my family and felt so bad about how he treated us. He made it look like he was joking with us, and then vented out on all of us infront of all people like we committed a crime! I will never go back to this store and i am very disappointed with their treatment!
