Our go to place for fixing/rewiring lamps at a great price

When the turn on knob of our favorite lamp broke, I took it into Annapolis Lighting for repair. They fixed it while I waited, for free! I very much appreciated it!

Very expensive but a very good selection.

Not happy with the work performed on our antique pierced porcelain lamps. In an effort to provide over and above service, glossy black paint, not requested, was sprayed on the bases and the paint ended up on the surface of the lamps. Asked to remove the paint and was not completely removed.

Beautiful store. Years ago, I bought a crystal chandelier after searching extensively online and in other stores. Its still the jewel of the house! Recently, we went there and purchased a shade, absolutely the right one for an antique floor lamp. Ray Burrowes and Nancy were very helpful.

Great selection. Poor customer service. Especially when things dont go perfectly. Which is exactly when customer service matters. All smiles to get you to buy, litte care after they have your money.

I used to use Annapolis Lighting decades ago when they had a store in Columbia Md. I was shopping to get a new shade, harp, and finial for a Stiffel brass candlestick lamp I bought on my honeymoon in 1974. After lots of looking I could not find a shade or finial that took it back to its original state, until I drove to Annapolis Lighting. They even had a pineapple finial very close to the original. The service was also great; just as I remembered it.

Even though the merchandise here is a little more expensive than Home Depot, the selection is far better and the lights are much nicer. I found exactly what I was looking for here and though I paid a little more, it was worth it. Ill definitely come back here in the future to look for lighting fixtures.

Just called Annapolis Lighting, young lady who answered my call was short discourteous, felt like I was disturbing her. Sorry I called.

Great selections but need more small ceiling fans

I love love love light fixtures so this place is my Mecca. They have EVERYTHING in lighting.

We should have read reviews first regarding customer service. Absolutely horrible.We purchased two items a couple weeks ago as we renovate our home purchase. Our sales rep made a BIG deal that we had picked stock items and that if we didnt like the color or look we could exchange // return easily. Great!Fast forward to this morning. I enter with a fan we decided we wanted to exchange for a different one. All was fine until she asked if we installed it. I said yes and she instantly, and rudely, launched into we do not return installed items. I shared that she never mentioned that detail when we were purchasing (it was the same sales rep) as it was a big consideration for us when we purchased as we were unsure at the time of the exact fan we wanted. She went on, completely indignantly, saying she tells everyoneeeeeeee and its on the receipt I share that she definitely didnt tell us that or we wouldnt have installed it.I pause to collect my thoughts... and she then shouts, with attitude, across the room to someone I assume is her boss that this guy wants to return something he installed and said we didnt tell him it couldnt be exchanged if installed. The man doesnt even come over to talk respectfully but instead speaks back across the room with total disinterest and disdain that they quote tell everyone that.Sorry, but you did not tell us, and even if you had, the tone and way in which they communicated with me today was totally lacking of any care or customer service. I do not believe a customer is always right but we should be spoken to respectfully and the possibility that your team may in fact not be perfect and mention those details everytime, should be taken into consideration. Bottom line.. horrible customer service with rude team members.For us, it wasnt about the money, its a couple hundred dollar fan, its about our experience. For the prices they charge youd expect a bit more effort in that part of their business. I had intended to place a special order today as well for a pretty pricey chandelier and as we finish renovating our house we had looked forward to potentially purchasing more. Well take our business elsewhere.The experience was so shocking and unfortunate that I simply left the fan on the counter. We will not be back.

Knowledgeable and great for finding custom bulbs

Worst customer service ever. Ive been a electrician for 25years . I had a customer purchase a light pole and base from them. They sold her the wrong material twice and would not help her at all. When I showed up on the third occasion with her and the pole and base in had the salesman ran to the back warehouse and the other salesman could only apoligize for their salesman and they could not help us and I had to go somewhere else for parts to fix her light pole
