I do all of my own painting in our home. In past years Ive tried other paint stores, but, Im writing this review to tell you that NONE, come close to the tremendous customer service and expertise as Maryland Paint and Decorating on Chinquapin Round Rd in Annapolis, MD. These folks are the most knowledgeable in the business. They are efficient and everything they sell is top quality. Ive been going to this paint store for the past 12 years. They are the best! My home looks so pulled together and I owe it all to Mark, Cindy, Bonnie and their network of fabricators, painters and installers. It was super fun to sit with MP&D professional interior designers and custom coordinate my wall colors, window treatments and upholstery to achieve the contemporary coastal, yet industrial look I wanted. They have more fabric samples than I have seen anywhere else and the best assortment of hardware catalogs for window treatments I have ever seen. And, of course, the paint selection is super vast. You cant get this type of attention, care and creativity from Home Depot or Lowes. Thanks for making my house my dream home!

The owner is professional, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. Having been to Home Depots and Ace and every other store in the area, he is hands down the best. Plus, he was just a super nice guy. Oh, and the best part, the pricing is comparable to the other stores.

Maryland Paint is owned and run by Mark Coale. He is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge in the world of painting. He certainly can answer any question or solve any painting issues you are having. I am a contractor that has been doing business with Maryland Paint since the first day they opened. Mark sells the absolute best paint on the market and also a fantastic array of other lines as well. Really great guys here. Im working for an owner that needs to see the colors on the wall. We are on our 3rd color. They are very patient here.

Ms. Cindy, their decorator, was the best and was very patient as I am sometimes very indecisive.

I have worked with several of their staff including their designer for selecting colors for kitchen cabinet painting including building a palette that flowed through several rooms. in the store, everytime I have been in their their staff has been extremely knowledgeable and has help me match chips of paint to touch up areas. Everyone there has been friendly, and professional, and I will use them everytime over a bib box store for painting.
