Finally an honest and trustworthy tire dealer in Antioch! These guys are the best!! I brought 2 tires with slow leaks to the guys at Mavis and they were fixed promptly. Those tires are rolling on my wifes and sons cars today without any issues. Another tire dealer down the street from Mavis told me one of my tires was not repairable due to dry rot. I took that tire down the street to Mavis, and they resealed the tire. By the way, there wasnt any dry rot on my tire, that other dealer just wanted me to buy new tires. Dont go anywhere else for tire service! They are the best!

I bring my cars here to swap out my dedicated winter tires and summer tires every season for all my cars. They also fix the occasional and unfortunate tire puncture as well. They’re very accommodating and always able to fit me into their schedule even when they’re busy. Anthony knows how to provide a great customer experience. He’s great to work with. Good work guys!

I could not recommend this place (and Anthony and Jeff specifically) more. I was driving from Chicago to northern WI with my dog when my tire blew out on the highway. When I called and spoke with Anthony, not only was he very helpful and calm (I was panicked), but he promised to get me in to replace the tire that evening, even though they would be closing in a couple of hours and I hadn’t even been picked up by the tow truck yet. This was after calling multiple other tire repair shops (closer in proximity to where I was on the highway) that were very rude, unhelpful, and unable to tell me whether or not they could get me in that evening despite my stranded situation. When I got to Mavis, Anthony made sure that my dog and I were comfortable while we waited and that we had food to eat and water to drink. Jeff and Anthony worked on the car and finished even earlier than they initially told me they would despite the damage to the car. They kept me informed of everything they found (good amount of damage from the blow out) as they worked on the car in a timely manner and even allowed me back to show me various things that they were referencing so that I could describe in greater detail and with pictures to a future mechanic if needed. I only regret not having cash to tip these two guys that saved me in a stressful situation and got me back on the road for my trip into WI. If they were any closer to Chicago, I’d return there for all future car needs! Regardless, when I left, Anthony offered to have me stop back on my return trip to Chicago if I had any questions or needed him to check out anything on the car. I greatly appreciate all their help!

First time at Mavis, was looking to get some KO2s for my truck. Unfortunately they did not have it in stock. But Anthony was very great, very personable. He took the time to explain the sizing of the tires and gave me information to look up prior to purchasing tires. And he took time to look up other options for me. So that I could get the right tires for my vehicle. I appreciate the excellent customer service! And I will be coming back when my tires ship in!

This is my second time coming here and I have say that Anthony the manager is a great guy. I brought my 2013 Toyota venza to have an oil change and to have the brakes looked at. He told me that my brakes and even gave me a nice price on my oil change. He also contacted the manager of the ultimate car wash and detailing center and set me up with an interior detail. Service was good. Had a wheel bearing/hub assembly part in my truck, asked if they would throw it on for me since I was already there and had the part and they gave me a good price on the labor. Got 2 new tires and am happy with those.

We went to Mavis Tires & Brakes in very short notice after having a tire blow. They were super welcoming and helpful despite us coming in right at opening hours, and educated us on what needs to be done.A very welcoming group overall! Great service and I felt very comfortable there.

Called Mavis to get my car serviced and spoke to Anthony. He was very friendly and said I should bring my vehicle right away. I decided to schedule for the following day and when I showed up i was pleasantly surprised - he remembered speaking with me and what the issue was. These days, with businesses being short-staffed, supplies and parts being limited, and everything else being wrong with the world, I feel Anthony was someone I will highly recommend and will look forward to getting my vehicle serviced again by Mavis!

So we had a bad experience with the Round Lake Beach location. We really didn’t want to deal with Mavis at all after that experience. That is of course until we were recommended to Anthony and he turned the situation around. He was very knowledgeable and showed us exactly where the problem was in our car and what he did to fix it. After this nice turnaround we will only recommend this location and preferably have Anthony handle.

I recommend Mavis in Antioch! They have great customer service. My tire had a flat the evening before we were going on vacation. Despite it being 30 minutes before they closed, they fit me and changed the tire out. I’ve had multiple good experiences at this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My car’s tire blew out directly in front of Mavis Tires and Breaks, and I pulled in directly to get it fixed. The staff there was very courteous and thorough and helped me find the best deal for my tires, as well as examining my brakes for any possible maintenance. I had a tire that needed repair and essentially had a nail in it. They were short handed and busy but were able to squeeze me in. I waited a little over an hour and the manager was so apologetic. This place is great and I would recommend in a heart beat. Incredibly professional!

I was getting a tire pressure error message on my car dashboard. I stopped at Mavis in Antioch, IL to have the tire pressure checked. Anthony/Serviceman politely greeted me and was more than happy to check the tire pressure on all 4 tires. It was a very positive visit and because of Anthony I will consider future work at this business.

My son’s car was towed to Mavis on a Saturday night after a flat tire. Mavis took care of it the next day and did a great job! Mike was very helpful and friendly! I highly recommend Mavis and will be using them in the future for my tire needs!

The Mavis in Antioch is the best I have used in both this area of Illinois and the Northport and Tuscaloosa Alabama area where I currently live. The waiting room was clean and Anthony went to great lengths to be sure the spare was fixed when others could not find the problem. I highly recommend this facility and drove 50+ miles from Chicago today where I was staying to get this tire fixed right. I had an appointment and was taken right on time and they replaced the spare back under the wheel well of the Pilot which is very trying to do by this owner.Ron Lepianka

Had 3 of my trucks in there all of them have tire vibration they hit my dually when pulling it in that was over a year ago they have done absolutely nothing about it. I sent 2 front wheels in to get tires they came back and the wheels had acid on them have not gotten that fixed absolutely terrible service do not recommend to anyone

Went in late in the afternoon with a tire that was rapidly losing pressure. In less than 45 minutes the problem was identified, repaired and my wife and I were on the way home with our groceries. Polite and extremely efficient staff. Will not hesitate to go to Mavis Tire & Brakes again when we are in need of their services.

I’m new in town, so when I had to have my car towed in for service after being stranded on the side of the road, I was very stressed! However, I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone at this service center is very friendly and put me at ease immediately. My car was fixed and I was back on the road in a minimal amount of time. I’m so thankful! They tightened my lungs for my tires like you wouldn’t believe never had I gone to so much to get the lugs off the tires if I had a flat on the road I’d be out of luck and they won’t loosen them for me when I called them. It was over 350 pound torque which is crazy

Me and my fiance came in on a tow since our tires blew out. Rating my experience was the easiest thing in the world! Anthony helped me understand everything and he walked me through the changing of tires and how it works. He got me a whole new set of tires because all my tires had wear on them and it would become in issue in the near future so he definitely did me a solid! He also had the guys in the back check my alignment because that is most likely the issue for my tires wearing down so fast and my fiance had brought up the brakes were kinda squeaky. I love how perfessional and respectful he is! Definitely deserves a raise or something! He answered all the questions that me and my fiance had about anything dealing with cars. Needed front struts. Called them after calling several shops in the area, quote was below other shops, and to my surprise they told me there was a 25% off sale going on. Asked about availability, they said they could get me in that day.if I could drop the car. Explained only way I could do that was if they could drop me back home due to work meetings.The service tech provided me a ride back home and picked me up again when the car was ready.
